Sat Sep 1416:51Jackson Holliday Sitting On Saturday
Baltimore Orioles second baseman/shortstop Jackson Holliday will take a seat on Saturday afternoon. The former No.1 prospect in baseball started at the keystone over the past three games. During this stretch, he has tallied only one hit while striking out five times. As a result, Livan Soto will cover second base on Saturday and bat in the eight-hole. While Holliday has struggled throughout his first professional season, he has begun to find stable playing time, which is a good sign for his fantasy stock going forward. Through his first 50 major league games, Holliday sits with a .171/.224/.300 slash line. Soto is best to leave out of your DFS lineup as he has yet to tally a hit this month.

Sat Aug 2418:58Jackson Holliday Records Pinch-Hit, Three-Run Double To Give Baltimore The Win
Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday hit a pinch-hit, three run double in the sixth inning during the Orioles 3-2 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday. The three-run double ended up being a game-winning hit for the rookie who now has a .572 OPS on the season. While Holliday's rookie season has not gone the way he would have liked it, this result in a high-stress scenario is a great sign for the 20-year-old. Saturday marked just the second game in August that Holliday has not been in the Orioles lineup, likely a combo of giving the rookie rest and avoiding a left-on-left matchup against Astros starter Framber Valdez. With the Astros starting left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on Sunday, there is a chance Holliday may be held out of the lineup until Monday when the Orioles travel to LA and face off against struggling Dodgers' starter Walker Buehler.

Sat Aug 2415:12Jackson Holliday Taking A Seat On Saturday
Baltimore Orioles rookie infielder Jackson Holliday will take a seat on Saturday afternoon as the Orioles continue a four-game set against the Houston Astros. The top prospect has not tallied a hit in his past six games and will get a much-needed break to get himself back on track. Prior to the slump, the former first-overall selection was riding a stellar .283/.328/.585 line with five home runs and 14 RBI in his past 16 games. Fantasy managers should expect Holliday to rejoin the starting nine on Sunday evening. As a result, Ramon Urias will cover the keystone and bat in the nine-hole today. Urias is not worth considering in DFS competitions as he will face Astros left-handed pitcher Framber Valdez who is carrying a dominant 1.27 ERA and a 0.56 WHIP in his past three games.

Sat Aug 1700:56Jackson Holliday Collects Four Hits, Three Runs
Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday collected four hits with three runs in Friday night's loss to the visiting division-rival Boston Red Sox at Camden Yards. It was the first career four-hit effort for Holliday, who also notably ripped his first career triple off Red Sox right-hander Cooper Criswell to the right-field wall to bring the Orioles to within one run in the third inning on Friday against Boston. The 20-year-old top prospect has looked like a different player in his second stint in the major leagues, hitting a healthy .286 (16-for-56) with five home runs, 14 RBI, and 13 runs scored in his last 15 games.

Fri Aug 916:00Jackson Holliday Moves Up In Batting Order
Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday will start again at second base on Friday against the hosting division-rival Tampa Bay Rays and right-hander Zack Littell and will move up to the six-hole. Since being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk at the end of July, the top prospect in all of baseball has been delivering on his upside, going 9-for-28 with four home runs, a double and 11 RBI in eight games to earn a move up to the highest spot in the batting order he's held so far in his rookie season. The 20-year-old left-handed-hitting middle infielder is still only slashing .177/.239/.387 in his first 18 major-league games, but he's looked more comfortable at the place since being demoted to the minors earlier this year and is here to stay for the rest of the 2024 campaign. Holliday should already be rostered in all fantasy formats.

Thu Aug 800:44Jackson Holliday Homers Wednesday Vs. Blue Jays
Baltimore Orioles second baseman and No.1 overall prospect in baseball Jackson Holliday homered in Wednesday's game as his team beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3. The homer was his only hit of the night as he finished 1-for-4 in Wednesday's victory. Holliday, who started his major league career 2-for-34, has been scorching hot recently. He is slashing .375/.444/.917 with four home runs and 10 RBI over his last seven games. Three of those homers have come against the Blue Jays, including his first career home run (grand slam) on July 31. He could be a nightmare for Jays fans for years to come. His fantasy stock is also rapidly rising for this season, and he is a must-start in all leagues while swinging a hot bat.

Sun Aug 417:12Jackson Holliday Goes Deep Sunday
Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday hit his second career home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians. The 20-year-old went 2-for-4 with a solo shot for his third straight two-hit game. Holliday has been much better in his second go-around with Baltimore as he has raised his average to .173 with two homers and eight RBI. He was 2-for-34 in an April call-up, so the recent results are very encouraging for the top overall prospect in baseball. Holliday has returned to the big leagues with renewed confidence and it is starting to show.

Wed Jul 3118:26Jackson Holliday Blasts Grand Slam
Baltimore Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday made a big splash in his return to the big leagues. The 20-year-old launched a fifth inning grand slam off reliever Yerry Rodriguez for his first career home run. It was Holliday's only hit of the game, but it was a big one as it helped the O's get the win. The top prospect is certainly going to have a learning curve at the big league level. However, Holliday has incredible upside as he's one of the most promising prospects in the game. He could be worth a look in deeper mixed leagues, but Holliday probably won't make a huge impact this season.

Wed Jul 3111:47Jackson Holliday Batting Eighth In Return To Big Leagues
Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday will bat eighth for the O's on Wednesday against Toronto. This will be his first MLB appearance since being demoted to Triple-A Bowie in late April. During his first stint in Baltimore, he went just 2-for-34 with 2:18 BB/SO and no extra-base hits. Since then, he's slashed .259/.421/.455 with 20 doubles, eight home runs, seven steals, and 63:69 BB/SO in Triple-A. Now back in the majors, Holliday will look to redeem himself and prove that he can compete at the big-league level. Despite his initial struggles, he still possesses elite offensive prowess. Holliday is currently the top prospect in all of baseball (per MLB.com).

Tue Jul 3020:39Jackson Holliday Set To Rejoin The Orioles
According to multiple sources, infield prospect Jackson Holliday is headed to the Baltimore Orioles from Triple-A Norfolk. It's why Holliday was scratched from Tuesday night's lineup with the Tides following the trade of second base prospect Connor Norby to the Miami Marlins in exchange for left-hander Trevor Rogers. Although Baltimore's acquisition of Rogers was seen as a pretty big overpay for a lefty arm with command issues, it also opened up a regular spot at second base at the big-league level for the top prospect in all of baseball. Holliday looked overmatched in his first taste of big-league pitching earlier this year and went 2-for-34 (.059) with 18 strikeouts in 10 games, but he has posted a .908 OPS with 10 homers, 38 RBI and eight steals in 73 games for Norfolk this year and needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues if he isn't already.

Sat Jul 2009:30Jackson Holliday Goes Deep Twice On Friday
Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI on Friday evening for Triple-A Norfolk. This was Holliday's first game playing in the field since being activated from the injured list on June 25. He was exclusively only serving as the designated hitter since then. The second baseman has posted a stellar .325/.491/.700 slash line with three home runs, seven RBI, two stolen bases, and a 13:9 BB:K through July after struggling in June. The former first overall pick is a name to keep a close eye on in redraft leagues, as he could return to the major leagues in the coming weeks once he proves he is ready to play the field on a daily basis.

Fri Jul 1919:59Jackson Holliday Beginning To Start Playing In The Field
Baltimore Orioles second base/shortstop prospect Jackson Holliday (elbow) is set to begin playing partial games in the field over the next several days, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com. This is part of his scheduled rehab progression, as he recently recovered from elbow inflammation. Holliday was activated off the injured list on June 25 but has strictly been serving as the designated hitter in the minors. The top prospect in baseball got a small taste of the major leagues earlier this season but struggled through his 10-game stint. Since July 1, the 20-year-old has been swinging a hot bat at Triple-A Norfolk with a .297/.469/.541 slash line and is on the verge of returning to the big leagues.

Tue Jul 1620:43Jackson Holliday Continues To Heat Up In July
Baltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday has performed very well in July and is nearing a return to the major leagues. Since July 1, the former first overall selection in the 2022 MLB Draft has posted a .297/.469/.541 slash line with one home run, two stolen bases, and an excellent 12:9 BB:K ratio. This is great to see, as Holiday got into a bit of a slump in June, where he held a lower .222/.444/.378. Holliday earned a small stint in the majors earlier this season but struggled over his brief 10-game stint. The 20-year-old should see time in the majors later this season and is a popular stash candidate, as he should make an immediate impact in his second stint in the big leagues.
