The 26-year-old right-hander was excellent before he went down with a forearm strain, posting a 1.40 ERA and 17/3 K/BB ratio over 19 1/3 innings, so his return will be a nice shot in the arm to a bullpen looking for some consistency. |

The good news is that it's not believed to be a serious injury. Caridad has struggled out of the gate, most notably allowing a go-ahead grand slam to Drew Stubbs last Friday night. As a result, he has a 13.50 ERA and 3/3 K/BB ratio in 2 2/3 innings pitched. |
