Rockies signed LHP Geno Espineli to a minor league contract.

Espineli posted a 3.26 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 5.6 K/9 rate over 60 2/3 innings for Triple-A Fresno in the Giants organization this past season. He had a couple stints in the majors in 2008, holding a 5.40 ERA over 15 innings. The lefty will be a longshot to win a roster spot this spring.
