Thole went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's win over Milwaukee.

Thu Jul 24 201400:34Josh Thole reaches four times
Josh Thole went 2-for-2 with a double and two walks Wednesday versus the Red Sox.
Even though Thole only gets to play while R.A. Dickey is pitching, he's managed to stay sharp enough to hit .282 in 85 at-bats this season, albeit without any power at all (three doubles, no triples and no homers). Since the beginning of June, he's started exactly one game in which he wasn't paired with Dickey, and he was removed after two at-bats in that one.

Thole batted just .234/.294/.290 with one home runs and 21 RBI in 104 games this summer for the Mets. The 26-year-old should hit a little better at Toronto's Rogers Centre but is doubtful to ever boast serious fantasy value.

Tue Aug 14 201223:13Thole goes 1-for-2 as Mets are shutout
Josh Thole went 1-for-2, producing one of only six Mets hits as they were shutout by the Reds on Tuesday.
Thole is hitting a paltry .262 with just one homer and 18 RBI on the season. With Tuesday's acquisition of Kelly Shoppach, who will draw most starts against left-handed pitching, Thole loses most of what little value he did possess in two-catcher formats.

Wed May 30 201222:59Josh Thole pulled from rehab game
Josh Thole (concussion) was pulled from a rehab start with Triple-A Buffalo Wednesday because MLB's Players' Association did'nt approve Thole's rehab assignment in time for him to play.
It's the first we've ever heard of such an incident, but ultimately it's not a big deal. He ended up entering the game in the eighth inning after receiving clearance, so the Mets should be able to stick to their plan of catching Thole Thursday and activating him Friday.
