Mon Apr 3 202310:17Adam Duvall Collects Three Hits, Drives In Two Runs Sunday
Boston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs scored during Sunday's win over the Orioles. He hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to put the Sox up 6-3. The 34-year-old is off to a blazing start in 2023, slashing .571/.600/1.357 with two home runs, eight RBI, and six runs across three games. Duvall's power bat should play well at Fenway Park this season. He started in center field and has hit fifth in all three games this year. The veteran can be used as a streamer this week and has a favorable matchup at home for the first three games in Week 2 against the Pirates. Duvall should be added in all league formats while he's swinging a hot bat.

Thu Jan 26 202313:54Adam Duvall "Full-Go" For Spring Training
Boston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall (wrist) said he is "full-go" entering spring training after suffering a wrist injury last year. The Red Sox just signed Duvall to a one-year, $7 million deal. The 34-year-old had a career-high 38 home runs and league-leading 113 RBI for the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves in 2021, but he disappointed in 2022 because of his wrist injury that required season-ending surgery. He is expected to serve as Boston's regular center fielder, and with better health, we could see a nice bounce-back in the power department in a hitter-friendly ballpark. Duvall does strike out frequently, though, so fantasy managers will mostly be chasing a power bounce-back if they take a chance on Duvall in drafts this spring.

Wed Jan 18 202314:14Adam Duvall In Agreement With Red Sox
Per a tweet from the Miami Herald's Craig Mish on Wednesday, free-agent outfielder Adam Duvall is reportedly in agreement with the Boston Red Sox on a one-year deal worth $7 million. Performance bonuses could get the deal up to $10 million. Duvall hit .213 with a .276 on-base percentage in 315 plate appearances for Atlanta last season, adding 12 home runs in the process. Capable of playing all three outfield spots, he'll give the Red Sox another option in the grass at Fenway Park. Boston's current outfield options on the team's 40-man roster include Enrique Hernandez, Masataka Yoshida, Alex Verdugo, Rob Refsnyder, Jarren Duranand Wilyer Abreu.

Tue Jan 17 202316:22Red Sox Eyeing Adam Duvall, Josh Harrison
The Boston Red Sox have free-agent outfielders Adam Duvall and Josh Harrison on their radar, among others. With Xander Bogaerts out of town and Trevor Story (elbow) injured, shortstop is a big need for 2023 as well. Among the available free agents at the position are Elvis Andrus, Jose Iglesias and Andrelton Simmons. Duvall could be a perfect fit for the Red Sox, who view him as a capable center fielder. The 34-year-old had wrist surgery in 2022 and hit .213/.276/.401 with 12 home runs and 36 RBI in 86 games for the Atlanta Braves. Better health and a spot in Boston's everyday lineup would make Duvall a potential bounce-back slugger. Harrison can also play multiple infield spots but isn't nearly as attractive as Duvall in fantasy. He hit .256 with seven homers, 27 RBI and two steals in 119 games for the White Sox last year.

Mon Jul 25 202208:54Adam Duvall To Undergo Season-Ending Wrist Surgery
Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall (wrist) will undergo surgery to repair a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist. Due to the lengthy recovery period following the procedure, he will be out for the remainder of the 2022 season. Duvall sustained the injury when his wrist was jammed into the outfield wall during this Saturday's game. Eddie Rosario and Guillermo Heredia should both see their playing time increase going forward, but we could also see the Braves make a move prior to the trade deadline to bulk up their outfield.

Tue Jul 12 202223:28Adam Duvall Homers For 11th Time
Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall went deep for the 11th time this season Tuesday, blasting a two-run shot off New York Mets relief pitcher Seth Lugo to give Atlanta a 4-1 lead that would hold as the final score. Nine of Duvall's home runs have come in his last 30 games, a span during which he's slugged .598 in 97 at-bats. He may be a drag in batting average, with a .207 mark on the year, but he's capable of carrying a fantasy team power-wise when he goes on one of his more torrid stretches.

Fri Jul 8 202211:22Adam Duvall Placed On Paternity List
Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall has been placed on the paternity leave list as of Friday. The 33-year-old is expected to miss the weekend series, but should return early next week. This is actually good timing since Duvall has been dealing with a hand issue. This time off gives him an opportunity to heal and get back to 100 percent healthy. Duvall isn't much of an option in most fantasy formats. He could be useful in deep formats because of his power, but he'll never hit for a high average. Mike Ford has been recalled from the minors to take over the active spot on the roster. The 30-year-old doesn't offer much with the bat, so fantasy managers can ignore him.

Duvall is more of an option in deep-league formats until he can turn things around but does have elite power after smashing 38 homers in 2021.

Mon Jul 4 202216:09Adam Duvall Still Out Against Cardinals
Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall (hand) remains out of the starting lineup on the Fourth of July on Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Duvall will miss his second straight game, but X-rays on left hand have come back negative after he was hit by a pitch on Saturday. The 33-year-old should be considered day-to-day, but he could lose out on playing time moving forward with Eddie Rosario (eye) back from the injured list. Rosario is in left field on Monday and is hitting seventh against Cardinals right-hander Dakota Hudson. Duvall is hitting just .205/.272/.376 on the season, but he does have 10 home runs, 32 RBI and 36 runs scored in 290 plate appearances over 77 games. Rosario has played in just 15 games so far this year and has gone 3-for-44 (.068) with 10 strikeouts.
