Thu Dec 22 2011 | 09:55 | Stephen Garham waived by New Jersey Nets |
Stephen Graham has been waived by the Nets. |
Graham's contract would have become guaranteed if he were on the roster for New Jersey's season opener, so this saves some money for the team. With the signing of DeShawn Stevenson, it didn't make a lot of sense to keep Graham around. |

Tue Jun 28 2011 | 10:42 | Nets extend deadline for Graham decision |
The Nets have extended the deadline for deciding whether to guarantee Stephen Graham's contract for next season. |
The Nets now have until the day before the start of the season. That will give them a chance to see the new CBA rules and take a look at Graham in camp. They can keep the rugged Graham for $1.1 million. |

Tue Mar 22 2011 | 00:12 | Graham starts and is held scoreless |
Stephen Graham started for injured Damion James (foot) on Monday, and was held scoreless on five shot attempts with one rebound, four assists, and a steal in 23 minutes. |
If he continues to start, expect more of nights like these. Needless to say, he has no chance at fantasy value this season. |

Fri Dec 31 2010 | 18:19 | Graham, Outlaw score for losing Nets |
Stephen Graham had 16 points and seven rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting, while Travis Outlaw scored 16, hitting just 6-of-17 shots in Friday's loss to the Bulls. |
The Nets starting lineup is pretty sad right now, as it's hard to imagine these two starting for many other NBA teams. Outlaw's shot is broken, although he did have a 3-pointer and six rebounds today. Outside of Devin Harris and the underachieving Brook Lopez, it's tough to own anyone playing for Avery Johnson these days. |
Thu Dec 30 2010 | 11:52 | Graham may not get boot from lineup |
Coach Avery Johnson said Stephen Graham may not be the one that gets bounced from the starting lineup when Anthony Morrow (hamstring) returns. |
Morrow is nowhere near ready, so this isn't a situation Johnson is thinking about too hard right now. Graham and Travis Outlaw will have plenty of time to battle for a starting gig over the next couple weeks. Neither player has done enough for fantasy owners to get excited, even with Morrow out. |

Wed Dec 22 2010 | 23:38 | Nets starters really, really bad. |
The starting five for the Nets was a collective zero on Wednesday against the Hornets. Stephen Graham was coach Avery's choice-of-the-night at shooting guard, scored nine points, Kris Humphries had eight points and six boards, and Travis Outlaw chipped in with nine points. |
Wow, Troy Murphy can't crack THIS lineup? Most college teams could beat these guys, and you know the UConn ladies would make them another notch on their belt. None of these guys are worth owning, although Humphries can occasionally get boards and blocks. This team is doing everything it can for positioning in the Carmelo Anothony sweepstakes, but until then, it is a fantasy nightmare. |
Sun Dec 19 2010 | 16:06 | Graham scores 10 in start at SG |
Stephen Graham started at shooting guard Sunday and had 10 points and seven rebounds in a win over the Hawks. |
We still can't believe he's starting, but he seems to be Avery Johnson's flavor of the week, as Jordan Farmar has fallen out of favor. But once Anthony Morrow comes back, the job will be his. |
Wed Dec 15 2010 | 02:28 | Graham starts at shooting guard on Tue |
Stephen Graham started at shooting guard for the Nets on Tuesday, scoring six points on 3-of-7 shooting with two rebounds, no assists, and three steals in 33 minutes. |
Those are some horrible per-minute numbers, and when Anthony Morrow returns he'll be rendered pretty much useless. Feel free to ignore him until he shows us something. |
Wed Sep 15 2010 | 14:18 | Stephen Graham signs with Nets |
The Nets have signed G/F Stephen Graham to a two-year deal. |
Graham joins a crowded wing rotation in New Jersey, so his minutes are likely to be sparse early, leaving him as waiver wire fodder in most fantasy leagues. |

Sun Jul 18 2010 | 13:55 | Stephen Graham drawing interest |
Free agent swingman Stephen Graham is drawing interest from the Bobcats, Heat, Grizzlies, and Clippers. |
Graham is an affordable rotation player who can fill either wing position and plays hard-nosed defense. |
