Portland Trail Blazers power forward/center
Greg Brown III (eye) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. Oklahoma City due to a corneal abrasion in his left eye. Brown departed Saturday's outing after just six minutes due to the ailment, with his absence one of many leaving a significant void in Portland's frontcourt.
Drew Eubanks should see all the run at center that he can handle, while
Elijah Hughes,
Keon Johnson, and
CJ Elleby all stand to have elevated rebounding duties without Brown on the floor. When healthy, Brown had begun to carve out a solid role among the second unit as a double-double threat. His next chance to take the floor comes Wednesday against the Pelicans.
