The Hawks traded guard
TyTy Washington Jr., along with
Rudy Gay,
Usman Garuba, and a second-round pick, to OKC on Saturday in exchange for guard
Patty Mills. The 21-year-old was selected No. 29 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft and averaged 4.7 points in 31 games for the Rockets. However, he wasn't a routine presence in Houston's lineup, so the verdict is still out on his upside. But Washington will need to scratch and claw for minutes in OKC, considering the team is loaded with young, up-and-coming players, so he may not receive consistent minutes. on the other hand, dynasty managers with room to spare should keep him on the roster for now, especially since his value can't go anywhere but up.
