F Jonas Jerebko returned to Boston on Friday, saying earlier in the day, "I had three great seasons here. Playoffs every year. The fans are great. Organization's great. Good teammates, good coaches. I've got all good memories from here."

F Joe Johnson, a former Celtic, returned, playing his first game since Oct. 30. "I'm just glad to be out there on the court," Johnson said before playing 15 minutes. "I didn't have an injury to my lower extremities, so it was just about getting rest and getting strength in my wrist."

G Mario Chalmers had 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting and added four steals off the bench in Friday's win over the Hawks.

C Marc Gasol, after a scoreless first half, scored all 13 of his points in third quarter of the Grizzlies win over the Hawks. "We persevered," Andrew Harrison said. "Marc took over the third quarter and hit those two big threes coming out of halftime."

G Chris Paul finished with 28 points, eight assists and a season-high seven steals as the Rockets extended their winning streak to 12 games on Friday night. In the last four games, Paul is averaging 26.5 points (on 54.5 percent shooting) and eight assists.

G James Harden (28 points, seven rebounds, six assists) struggled with his shot, but the Spurs failed to keep him off the line, with Harden sinking 14 of 16 free throws to offset his 2-of-11 3-point shooting.

G/F Andre Roberson returned after missing the last two games with a sprained left ankle.

F Luc Mbah a Moute will miss two to three weeks after suffering a dislocated right shoulder on Wednesday night. An MRI the following morning revealed no significant damage.

G/F Arron Afflalo missed his second straight game due to back spasms.

G Dennis Schroder had 18 points and 11 assists, but missed a running floater with 41 seconds left in Friday's 96-94 loss to the Grizzlies.

G Tyreke Evans scored 22 points and made a driving layup with 1:02 left in the fourth quarter to give the Grizzlies the two-point lead that stood up in Friday's win over the Hawks.

C Rudy Gobert left the Utah Jazz's game against the Boston Celtics early in the first quarter Friday night with an apparently left knee injury. Gobert, who had played just five games since returning from missing 11 games with a right tibia contusion, fell over teammate Derrick Favors vying for a rebound just 1:49 into the game. Gobert was on his back as trainers arrived and was then helped to his feet. He was assisted off the court but seemed to be walking better as he headed for the locker room. The 7-foot-1 Gobert came into the game averaging 12.2 points and 10.1 rebounds. He also suffered a knee injury in last season's playoffs.
