Brewer (oblique) posted two points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 27 minutes of action Wednesday against the Pelicans.

Brewer struggled from the field, going just 1-for-7. It appears he was limited by his injury, but it doesn't appear like he'll miss much time moving forward. He's a solid option in 16-man formats.

Brewer (oblique) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Jenny Dial Creech of the Houston Chronicle reports.

This is a new issue for Brewer, but the probable tag suggests he should be fine to play. While the Rockets will subtract Patrick Beverley (wrist) and possibly add Dwight Howard (knee) for Wednesday's game, neither situation figures to significantly impact Brewer's minutes or usage.

Corey Brewer came off the bench for a team-high of 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-5 FT) during Wednesday's loss to the Trail Blazers, while also adding two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes.

Brewer almost single-handedly brought the Rockets back in the fourth quarter, scoring 17 straight points to end the game. Unfortunately, when given an open look at the end of regulation in an opportunity to tie the game and send it to overtime, Brewer came up just short and the Rockets took the loss. He's been hitting shots at a high percentage lately, finishing over 55 percent from the field in his last three games and 50 percent or higher from the three-point line in three of his last four games. During his last three matchups, he's averaged 20.7 points, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals

Brewer scored 24 points (9-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT) with six rebounds, one assist and one steal in the win against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Brewer has been very inconsistent off the bench for Houston but was able to take advantage of weak defensive team in Denver, who rank 26th in points allowed overall this season. Brewer's minutes and production aren't steady enough to be trusted outside of deeper 14 team leagues and above.

Brewer started Tuesday's game with James Harden (suspension) out, but shot just 4-of-14 from the floor and finished the game with eight points, three rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes.

Brewer has now been limited to single-digit points in three straight games. Since being traded to the Rockets, he's averaging 11.9 points, 1.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 24.4 minutes per game.

Brewer will start Tuesday's game with James Harden (suspension) out.

Brewer has the potential to post monster lines thanks to his ability to get out on the fastbreak and collect tons of steals. He's worth a play in all daily games Tuesday.

He's having a solid run at the moment, averaging 17.2 points, 5.7 boards and 1.0 steals over his last six games, and Brewer seems to be emerging as Rockets' coach Kevin McHale's preferred sixth man. Despite his lack of a starting role, he could have some real fantasy value down the stretch.

Brewer has now scored in double-digits in four straight games, including two games over 20 points. He had gone without a steal in his last four games, so this explosion was welcomed by his owners, as the steals category is where the majority of his value lies. Despite playing behind James Harden and Trevor Ariza, Brewer has been valuable enough for most leagues, averaging 12.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals in his last 12 games.

Brewer had a team-high 22 points in 23 minutes Wednesday against the Clippers. He was 8-for-15 from the field and also added a rebound and an assist.

Brewer has now scored in double figures in three of his last five games. He's also averaging 25 minutes on the floor this month. Although his playing time has been consistent of late, his contributions have been inconsistent. He saw an increase in production Wednesday thanks in part to the fact the game wasn't competitive near the end.

Brewer tied for the team high with 12 points (4-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) in 27 minutes in the blowout loss to the Pelicans on Friday.

Brewer came up big last Sunday with 25 points and six 3-pointers, but has come back to earth in his last three games (10.7 points, 1.0 3-pointers). He is getting consistent minutes off the Rockets' bench, but can not be counted on for consistent production.

Brewer put up 25 points (8-11 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, and one assist in 24 minutes off the bench Sunday.

Through his first three games with the Rockets, Brewer has averaged 16.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 steals, and 3.7 three-pointers in 23 minutes per game. While he has gotten off to a heck of a start with the Rockets, Brewer's production is unsustainable. He's hit 58 percent of his shots from the field and 65 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. If he regresses to his career averages in shooting (43% FG, 29% 3Pt) and continues to play just 23 mpg, Brewer will struggle to maintian enough value to roster consistently in standard leagues. The Rockets have four games this week, so it's worth taking a flier on Brewer, but just know that the law of averages says he'll come crashing down to earth sooner than later.

Brewer will be available to make his Rockets debut Monday versus the Blazers, FOX Sports KRIV reports.

Brewer was dealt to the Rockets last Friday and will thus make his first appearance in new confines. However, he may find difficulty brushing aside Jason Terry and Kostas Pananikolaou for minutes on the wing.

Brewer will not be available to play Saturday against the Hawks.

It was believed that Brewer would be eligible to debut with his new team Saturday, but that's not the case. Troy Daniels, whom the Rockets traded to Minnesota in the Brewer deal, has not yet completed his physical. Fellow Friday trade acquisition Alexey Shved will be unavailable as well.

Brewer did not take part in shootaround, but is available for Saturday's game, the Houston Chronicle's Jenny Dial Creech reports.

From a fantasy perspective, it is probably wise to take a cautious approach with Brewer on his new team, where he may be more of a complimentary piece. It will be interesting to see how many minutes Brewer gets over the next couple games, but he obviously won't displace Trevor Ariza as the primary small forward.

Brewer was traded to the Rockets on Friday, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Brewer has averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals in 28 minutes for the Timberwolves this season. The deal appears to send he and Ronny Turiaf to Houston for Troy Daniels. He will likely be used in a similar fashion with the Rockets as he was in Minnesota, though Brewer may see a slight reduction in minutes with his move to a better team.

Brewer could be moved to a bench role Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.

Head coach Flip Saunders recently said that he is considering benching Brewer in favor of Shabazz Muhammad to give the team another scoring option to start the game. Brewer's move to the bench would likely only result in a slight decrease in playing time in the short-term, but it may also indicate the Wolves' desire to move on from the defensive ace.

Brewer posted a well-rounded line Sunday against the Lakers, contributing 10 points, six rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in 32 minutes of action.

Brewer has been returning mid-round value ever since stepping into the starting lineup. He's averaging 10.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 3.4 steals over the last five games, and his contribution in multiple categories will be worth taking up until Ricky Rubio (ankle) and Kevin Martin (wrist) return.

Brewer scored 19 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 10-10 FT), with eight rebounds, five assists and five steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Trail Blazers.

Brewer got big minutes, and he produced in a big way for the T'Wolves. When he gets minutes like this it makes him an intriguing fantasy option, but it will all depend on the health of the rest of Minnesota's roster.

It wasn't a banner night on offense for Brewer, but his owners are willing to put up with weak scoring lines so long as he keeps supplying them with those precious steals.

Brewer scored a team-high 19 points (7-17 FG, 0-5 3P, 5-9 FT) with six rebounds, three assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Bucks.

He also committed seven turnovers, but Brewer is now averaging 14.3 points, 3.5 assists, 2.8 boards and 2.8 steals over his last six games, numbers which would be useful to most fantasy owners.
