Brewer had eight points (3-10 FG, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 32 minutes as a starter in the loss to San Antonio on Friday.
Brewer moved into the starting lineup for Kevin Martin (wrist), but played nearly the same amount of minutes as in his previous two games. He does have nine steals in his last two games, so could be a factor in that column.
Fri Nov 21 201418:54Brewer will officially start at shooting guard Friday
Brewer will officially start at shooting guard Friday, the Star Tribune reports.
As expected, Brewer will take over the starting shooting guard spot with Kevin Martin going down with a fractured wrist. He'll split time with Chase Budinger as fill-ins until the Timberwolves settle on who they are going to go with for the rest of the season. As a starter, Brewer will most likely get more minutes than he has all season.

Brewer will most likely move into the starting lineup with Kevin Martin (wrist) out indefinitely.
Brewer is averaging 10.2 points, three rebounds and 1.5 assists on the season, but if he's pushed into the starting lineup, could improve on those numbers. He's currently been playing his best basketball of the season and has reached double figures in scoring his last four games. After talks of Brewer being traded, it seems as if the Timberwolves may not have the option to do that anymore with all of the injuries. We'll have to wait and see who coach Flip Saunders announces as a starter for Friday's game against the Spurs, but Brewer seems like the likely candidate.

Brewer scored 14 points with six steals in 29 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Knicks. He needed fluids from an IV before the game as he battled through food poising while playing.
Brewer had one of his best games of the season despite the illness. He got more minutes and shots with three starters sidelined. He may see an uptick in his role in the offense until Thaddeus Young returns.

Brewer (illness) is expected to play, and will come off the bench Wednesday against the Knicks.
Brewer and teammate Kevin Martin are both dealing with flu-like symptoms, but each player is expected to be available, though likely in a limited capacity.
Wed Nov 19 201418:57Corey Brewer: (Illness) Questionable
Brewer is questionable Wednesday due to an illness.
He received an IV Wednesday afternoon, but if he cannot play, Chase Budinger and Andrew Wiggins would probably benefit the most.

Minnesota is in talks to trade Brewer with Cleveland and Houston emerging as the top suitors, ESPN reports.
With Minnesota in a rebuilding mode, especially with the ankle injury to Ricky Rubio, the T-Wolves are looking to trade veterans for future assets. Brewer can help a contender with his defensive skills.

Brewer started at shooting guard and scored eight points with four rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes.
Brewer has been in the starting lineup the first two games with Kevin Martin dealing with a sore ankle. When Martin is back to full speed, he may come off the bench with Martin and Andrew Wiggins in the lineup ahead of him. However, Brewer may play about the same minutes in either scenario. With the influx of wingmen in the offseason, Brewer isn't going to be asked to take as many shots this season.

Brewer will start at small forward in Wednesday's season opener against the Grizzlies.
Brewer will start alongside Andrew Wiggins, who will be making his NBA debut in place of the injured Kevin Martin (ankle). If Martin has to miss another game or so due to the ailment, this would once again be the likely starting lineup for coach Flip Saunders.

Brewer stared at small forward and scored six points with four rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes in Friday's preseason win over Chicago.
Brewer got the start with Andrew Wiggins sitting out with a sore back/tailbone. Wiggins' injury isn't thought to be serious, so Brewer will likely come off the bench during the regular season. Brewer can be a defensive spark, but he'll likely see decreased playing time with the addition of Wiggins and Anthony Bennett and Chase Budinger's return to health.
Sat Oct 4 201413:57Brewer back scrimmaging with team Saturday
Brewer, who chipped two teeth Friday, was back scrimmaging with the team Saturday, Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
He had a dental procedure following the incident and was able to practice the very next day, so his status is not in jeopardy going forward.

Brewer had two teeth knocked out during Friday's practice but is expected to return Saturday.
This type of injury shouldn't be too concerning for Brewer's viability as he'll not even need any time away from practice. Looking ahead, Brewer will spend the upcoming season battling rookie Andrew Wiggins for playing time at small forward. Unfortunately for Brewer, Minnesota will be looking to make Wiggins the cornerstone of their franchise.
Tue Apr 15 201401:39Brewer scores 22 points with five assists
Corey Brewer decided his run wasn't over in Monday's loss to the Warriors, scoring 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting with three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 41 minutes.
Brewer's favorable schedule and big games have made him a nice pickup over the last week or two, and there's no reason the Wolves won't run him hard on Wednesday. If his stat set fits your needs, he's a solid pickup.

Sun Apr 13 201423:47Corey Brewer cools off w/ 10 pts in road loss
Corey Brewer followed up his 51-point eruption with just 10 points in 30 minutes as the Wolves lost a close game in Sacramento on Sunday.
Nobody was expecting a repeat performance of Friday, and the return of Kevin Martin and Kevin Love cut into his offensive opportunities, but this still qualifies as a major disappointment. Brewer is averaging 12.2 points in 32 minutes per game this season, on an up-tempo team that favors his style of play, so he's unlikely to be any better in 2014-15.

Sat Apr 12 201400:34Corey Brewer shocks Rockets with 51 points
Corey Brewer came out of nowhere for a career-high 51 points on 19-of-30 from the field in a win over the Rockets on Friday, adding two boards, one assist, six steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes.
Brewer joined Michael Jordan, Ricky Barry and Allen Iverson as the only players to score at least 50 points with six steals in a game in NBA history. He scored an unbelievable 16 of his 19 field goals from within three feet of the rim and was the main reason why the Wolves had a whopping 39 fast-break points with 27 transition points coming from Brew. Coach Rick Adelman joked after the game that Kevin Love (elbow) and Kevin Martin (foot) have been holding Brewer back and he said he didn't even know what to do with him. Brewer also has four consecutive games with four or more steals, but we don't think he'll have a streak of scoring 50 points or anything.

Tue Apr 1 201401:27Brewer scores nine points in 21 minutes
Corey Brewer scored nine points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with one steal and two blocks in 21 minutes on Monday.
The minutes are a concern but with the Wolves being one of the few teams with four games next week he'll need to really fall off before we consider a drop. It is worth noting, however, that Chase Budinger logged 27 minutes with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting, one three, five boards, two steals and a block. The second unit got some extra run tonight and we'll have to see if there is any carryover the next time out.

Thu Mar 27 201401:07Corey Brewer scores 18 in easy win
Corey Brewer hit 8-of-16 shots for 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in Wednesday's easy win over the Hawks.
Brewer failed to even score last Thursday against the Rockets, but has scored 14, 15 and 18 points in each of his last three games. He appears to be heating up, so give him a look if he's on waivers in your league.

Tue Mar 25 201400:53Brewer scores 15 points with seven boards
Corey Brewer scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and no steals or blocks in Monday's loss.
Brewer fell off a cliff over the last week or so but because of the Wolves' favorable schedule he's worth watching going forward.

Thu Mar 20 201422:42Corey Brewer goes scoreless vs. Houston
Corey Brewer failed to score against the Rockets on Thursday with one turnover.
He missed all three shots from the field including two from downtown. Brewer came into tonight shooting just 18.2 percent from downtown since the All-Star break and coach Rick Adelman might want to ask him to sit the next couple plays out when it comes to making triples. He's a candidate to be cut in just about all leagues right now.

Wed Mar 12 201400:43Corey Brewer finishes Tuesday's win 1-of-8
Corey Brewer had five rebounds, three assists and two steals during Tuesday's win vs. Milwaukee, but went cold offensively with four points on 1-of-8 shooting.
Brewer's playing time is up over the past month and he's reduced Chase Budinger (two points in 10 minutes) to a strict backup in Rick Adelman's rotation. The Wolves' fantasy-playoff schedule picks up with three straight four-game weeks beginning in Week 22 (March 24-30), so if you can hang onto Brewer a while longer it should pay off.
