Thu Feb 16 202311:46Kevin Love Finalizing Buyout From Cleveland
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is working on finalizing a contract buyout with the team, as reported by The Athletic. As of right now, the Miami Heat are expected to be one of the suitors in line to bring in his services. The former fifth overall pick fell out of the rotation lately, as he hasn't seen the court since Jan. 24. Cleveland's wealth of talent will finally allow them to move on from the huge contract that Love signed back in 2018. He hasn't been very relevant in any fantasy format, but if he can return to around 20-25 minutes per game with Miami or another team that could sign him, he may be worth a look for teams that may need help with rebounds and threes.

Mon Jan 30 202315:15Kevin Love Practices On Monday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (back) was able to participate in Monday's practice. The veteran forward has missed the last three games due to lower back spasms. There's a chance that Love suits up for Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat. His return would mean that Dean Wade and Robin Lopez would see decreased roles. Wade has been a decent deep league streaming option while Love has been sidelined. That'll likely remain the case if Love sits out on Tuesday.

Sun Jan 29 202318:41Update: Kevin Love Now Listed Out Sunday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (back) will now miss Sunday's meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers. Love was initially cleared to play, but is now being listed out as a late scratch. Love will now miss his third straight game due to back spasms and lower back soreness. Lamar Stevens and Dean Wade should see increased minutes off the bench while Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley see the majority of the center minutes.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (back) will play Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Love has missed the past two games with spasms and soreness in his lower back, but will make his return off the bench on Sunday. Dean Wade and Lamar Stevens saw some extra run with Love sidelined, but will likely see a reduction in minutes with Love back in action.

Sun Jan 29 202313:08Kevin Love Questionable On Sunday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (back) is questionable ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers. The 34-year-old missed the last two games because of back spasms, allowing Dean Wade to log 26 minutes in the Cavs' recent game against OKC. With that said, with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen healthy, Love and Wade's fantasy upside is limited, although the former's is certainly much higher.

Fri Jan 27 202318:30Kevin Love Remains Out On Friday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The veteran forward will miss his second game in a row due to back spasms. His absence will free up additional playing time for Dean Wade. On Thursday, Wade had a decent game with 15 points, three rebounds, one assist over 23 minutes. He could be worth a look as a deep league streaming option while Love is sidelined.

Thu Jan 26 202319:27Kevin Love Unavailable On Thursday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Houston Rockets. The veteran forward was a late addition to the injury report due to back spasms. The Cavs will take the cautious approach here and give Love the night off. His absence should free up additional playing time for Lamar Stevens and Dean Wade in the rotation. Neither player is an ideal streaming option and might only be worth a look in deep leagues. Honestly, Cedi Osman might end up benefiting the most with Donovan Mitchell (groin) on the sideline as well.

Mon Jan 2 202318:32Kevin Love, Caris LeVert To Start On Monday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and guard Caris LeVert will move into the starting five for Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. These two will move into the starting unit with Darius Garland (thumb) and Evan Mobley (ankle) missing their second straight contest. Both Love and LeVert are strong streaming options after posting great outings on Saturday. Fantasy managers in need of help should take a look at Love or LeVert for Monday's slate.

Sat Dec 10 202218:17Kevin Love Sits Out Again Saturday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (back) will miss a second consecutive game Saturday versus the Thunder. After recently missing some time with a thumb injury, the veteran is dealing with lower back soreness this time around. With Love on the shelf, Cedi Osman had a very busy 35-minute night off the bench Friday against Sacramento, playing well with 17 points, four rebounds, one assist and three steals. There should be even more minutes available for the bench guys against the Thunder, as Donovan Mitchell (leg) also sits out the contest. Isaac Okoro and Raul Neto could easily get 20-plus minutes, although they tend to be pretty anonymous on the court and there should be better options available for fantasy managers.

Fri Dec 9 202215:03Kevin Love Listed As Out For Friday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (back) was only able to play nine minutes during Tuesday's contest. The team didn't give a reason why, but now have the veteran forward listed as out for Friday's game with back soreness. Luckily, Jarrett Allen is back, so the absence of Love isn't going to hurt too much. Cedi Osman and Isaac Okoro should be asked to help fill the void as well, but Allen should benefit the most for Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings.

Sat Dec 3 202208:46Kevin Love Records A Double-Double Off The Bench
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love returned from a five-game absence with a double-double performance in Friday's 107-96 win over the Magic. He led the second unit with 11 points and picked up 11 rebounds with three assists and one steal in 23 minutes. Love shot 4-for-7 from the field, including 1-for-3 from downtown. The former All-Star has nursed a right thumb injury lately and it's kept him out at a crucial time, as Cleveland could really use some bigs behind Evan Mobley with Jarrett Allen (back) out. Allen has missed four games and it's not known when he can return. Love should play a bigger role in his absence.

Fri Dec 2 202210:28Kevin Love Listed As Doubtful For Friday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (thumb) isn't likely to make his return from a five-game absence due to a fractured thumb. The Cavaliers' frontcourt is hurting right now as Jarrett Allen is also out with back issues. While Love's been out, Dean Wade has moved into the starting lineup and Robin Lopez is seeing some more minutes in relief. If he's going to miss a sixth straight game, Wade seems to be the better streaming option with Cedi Osman also being a strong player to go with.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (thumb) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors. This marks the fourth game in a row that the veteran forward has missed due to a hairline fracture in his thumb. The Cavs are expected to continue using a committee approach to fill the void. Among those players, Cedi Osman is likely to have the most streaming appeal, so fantasy managers looking for help on Monday should look towards Osman.

Sat Nov 26 202223:31Kevin Love Remains Out Against The Pistons
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (thumb) won't play on Sunday against Detroit, his third straight absence because of a hairline fracture in his thumb. It's unfortunate for the Cavaliers, especially if Jarrett Allen (back) can't suit up either. Dean Wade may continue to roll with the starting unit. However, he rarely offers much on the fantasy end.

Wed Nov 23 202215:28Kevin Love Sits Out Wednesday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (thumb) won't suit up Wednesday against Portland. He suffered a hairline fracture last week in a game and will sit for a second time in three games. Love was able to play Monday versus Atlanta but logged just 12 minutes. Cedi Osman has been strong in Love's absence, and we should see the return of Dean Wade (knee) Wednesday. He's listed as probable for the contest after missing six games. Wade hasn't done a lot this season, but he eats up plenty of minutes and could see more action with Love unavailable.

Tue Nov 22 202223:10Kevin Love Questionable Against Portland
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (thumb) is questionable ahead of Wednesday's meeting with Portland. The veteran has a hairline fracture in his right thumb, an injury he picked up on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets. Love logged only 12 minutes on Sunday night against Atlanta, so he may not see much work even if he does suit up. With Caris LeVert (ankle) out, Cedi Osman, coming off a 23-point performance, may remain the featured option from the bench.

Mon Nov 21 202217:56Kevin Love Will Attempt To Play On Monday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (thumb) will attempt to play during Monday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. The veteran forward is dealing with a hairline fracture in his right thumb. Despite that, Love is going to try and play through the issue on Monday. That being said, he'll be a risky DFS option considering he's playing through an injury. However, fantasy managers in season-long formats should get Love in their lineups with the Cavaliers shorthanded for this game.

Sun Nov 20 202209:03Kevin Love In Danger Of Missing Several Games
Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Kevin Love (thumb) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's matchup against Miami and it looks extremely likely that he will miss the contest, as the veteran has a hairline fracture in his right thumb. Love suffered the injury Friday night against the Hornets and might even be out for several games. The team has said that his status will be evaluated daily. Luckily for Cleveland, Jarrett Allen was able to make it back from an illness Friday otherwise the team's frontcourt would look very thin. Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens should be in line for more minutes during Love's absence.

Wed Oct 19 202218:27Kevin Love Will Suit Up On Monday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (knee) will play against the Raptors on Wednesday evening. The veteran injured his knee early in the preseason. However, he's likely 100% heading into this one and should see his usual workload. While Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen are starting, Love has double-double upside, although there's an equal chance he won't do enough to benefit fantasy managers.

Thu Mar 24 202219:08Kevin Love To Start On Thursday
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will move into the starting five for Thursday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Love will replace Lamar Stevens in the starting lineup for Thursday's game. Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro, Lauri Markkanen, and Evan Mobley will join Love in the starting lineup. Love will get a slight boost while running while the starting unit. Although, Love was already worth rostering in most formats, but starting will give him a boost. Stevens doesn't bring much to the table, so he can be left on the waiver wire in basically all formats.
