Zeller scored 17 points (6-13 FG, 5-8 FT), to go with six rebounds, and four assists in 32 minutes in the start on Sunday.
Weller got the start after Sullinger missed morning walk-through because of traffic. He had a good game in the start, and over the last five games he's averaging 11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks a game. If Boston were to make some trades in the frontcourt then Zeller may find himself in a bigger role. He may not put up huge numbers, but he can put up useful ones.
Sun Feb 1 201511:36Tyler Zeller: Will Start Sunday
Zeller will move into the starting lineup against the Heat on Sunday.
Normal starter Jared Sullinger was late for morning walk-through and is being demoted to the bench by coach Brad Stevens. Even though Zeller has a chance to see a bump in minutes Sunday, it's not assumed that he'll stay in the starting lineup long-term.

Zeller put up 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 21 minutes off the bench Sunday.
Zeller was moved back to a bench role three games ago in favor of starting Brandon Bass at center. With Kelly Olynyk (ankle) out for the next couple weeks, Zeller will probably have a couple good games, but until the Celtics' rotation stumbles into some form of normalcy, it's tough finding consistent options on their roster for standard leagues. He should be kept on all watch lists, but don't roster Zeller in standard leagues unless he starts getting about 30 minutes or more per game.

Zeller played 16 minutes off the bench Thursday, contributing seven points, four rebounds, and a block against Portland.
Zeller has been struggling of late, averaging just six points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.2 minutes over his last five games. Brandon Bass got the start over Zeller and posted a double-double so it's unclear how long Zeller will be in the dog house.
Thu Jan 22 201520:43Zeller will come off bench Thursday against Trail Blazers
Zeller will come off the bench Thursday against the Trail Blazers, the Boston Herald reports.
Zeller will be replaced by Brandon Bass in the lineup Thursday as the Celtics attempt to become more mobile against the Trail Blazers. The big man has been averaging 8.3 points, 5.1 boards and 2.4 assists in just over 21 minutes throughout the month of January, but may receive slightly less than average coming off the bench.

Zeller scored 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-4 FT) with six rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Nets.
The Wheel of Celtic Frontcourt Options landed on Zeller on Wednesday, as he outscored Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk combined. Don't expect coach Brad Stevens' rotation, or the fantasy value of any of the involved players, to become predictable any time soon though.

Zeller had 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 FT) with 10 rebounds in 25 minutes in the loss to Dallas on Friday.
Zeller continues to start, but his minutes are not assured. He had only averaged 15.0 minutes in his previous two games and provided just 5.0 points and 3.0 rebounds. When given minutes, Zeller has been effective. He has three double-doubles - all in the last month.

Zeller posted 22 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 FT) to go with eight rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes of action Sunday against the Heat.
He's averaging 12.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 24 minute as a starter and is producing low-end standard league value. He'll always be a limited asset because of his lack of contribution in other categories, but he's worth riding as a starter for now.
Tue Dec 9 201420:24Zeller will remain starting center indefinitely
Zeller will remain the starting center indefinitely, the Boston Globe reports. He is not at risk of losing his job at this time.
Coach Brad Stevens has been happy with Zeller's play, and he's talked to the media about it several times. The Celtics' bench went off for 80 points in Monday's double-overtime loss to the Wizards, and Kelly Olynyk was a big part of their success, but Stevens isn't planning on switching back to Olynyk anytime soon, making Zeller the center to own out of Boston. Zeller's stats help the most in rotisserie leagues where his percentages can be a big boon.

Zeller scored 24 points (10-11 FG, 4-4 FT) with 14 rebounds, two assists and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's win against the Lakers.
Zeller has now started the past four games, culminating in this performance. If you need rebounds and a player with high efficiency, then Zeller should come under strong consideration.

Zeller got the start over Kelly Olynyk and performed well, but not great, with the opportunity. He finished with seven points (2-5 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, and one block in 23 minutes.
He actually played less minutes than Olynyk and wasn't in any kind of foul trouble or slowed by an injury. Despite this, he outplayed the former starter and was aggressive on the boards whenever he was on the court. For those looking for a center, Zeller is a decent option in deeper leagues. But he would need to see more minutes before becoming a unanimous add in all leagues.
Sun Nov 30 201411:58Zeller will start at center Sunday against Spurs
Zeller will start at center Sunday against the Spurs, the Boston Heralds' Steve Bulpett reports.
Teammate Kelly Olynyk has struggled mightily in his last few games, so Zeller will now get his chance to show what he can do in the starting lineup. It's not clear if Olyny's starting spot also comes with his 25 minutes per game, but Zeller should play nearly that much, which is a significant improvement on his 14 minutes. While Zeller is probably not worth starting yet, he is worth rostering in most leagues in case he takes a strangle hold on the starting center spot.

Zeller suffered a right corneal abrasion Friday, but he will return to the game in the second half.
It's basically a scratched eye, and with Zeller expected to return to Friday's game, he should be considered healthy moving forward.
Wed Jul 9 201410:44Tyler Zeller to Boston in three-team trade
The Celtics acquired Tyler Zeller as part of Wednesday's three-team trade with the Cavaliers and Nets.
Zeller joins a frontcourt already teeming with young big men -- Brandon Bass, Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk and Vitor Faverani are all under guaranteed contracts for the 2014-15 season. Zeller looked more comfortable in his second NBA season but his playing time dipped, and he averaged 5.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 15 minutes per game. Even a slightly bigger role wouldn't yield reliable fantasy value.

Wed Apr 16 201423:43Tyler Zeller leads Cavaliers in easy win
Tyler Zeller had 22 points, 11 rebounds, a steal and two blocks in Wednesday's easy win over the Nets.
Anderson Varejao sat this one out, clearing the way for Zeller to succeed off the bench. The starters, Tristan Thompson, Alonzo Gee, Spencer Hawes, Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters all scored in double figures tonight, but none of them topped Zeller's 22 points. Now the attention in Cleveland can officially turn to whether Irving is going to stay or go.

Wed Apr 9 201422:06Tyler Zeller drops 18 points on sorry Pistons
Tyler Zeller shot 9-of-11 from the field against the Pistons on Wednesday for 18 points with six boards, one steal and two blocks in 24 minutes.
The Pistons get a lot of press for their interior game and they do lead the NBA in percentage of points scored in the paint, but the Cavs dominated that facet of the game tonight. They outscored them 54-38 in the paint tonight and Zeller was the highest-scoring big man in this game. Still, he can be ignored in most leagues.

Sun Mar 30 201418:37Tyler Zeller will be back in the rotation
Tyler Zeller played 16 minutes vs. the Pacers on Sunday with three points, two boards and four fouls.
He is going to get some extra run with Anderson Varejao (shoulder) suffering an injury. Obviously, Zeller is only worth a look in deep leagues and his weak schedule doesn't help.

Sat Mar 22 201422:14Tyler Zeller scores career-high 23 points
Tyler Zeller scored a career-high 23 points vs. the Rockets on Saturday with six boards, two assists and one block.
He shot 10-of-16 from the field and coach Mike Brown decided to go with Zeller over Spencer Hawes. The Rockets completely shut Hawes down, which caused Brown to make a bold move. We'd have to see it again before signing off as Zeller as a pickup.

Sun Feb 23 201421:06Tyler Zeller not doing anything
Tyler Zeller played 14 minutes on Sunday for six points, four boards and one block.
He wasn't really doing much with his minutes before the arrival of Spencer Hawes and he's been worse in his last two. Zeller has improved as a whole compared to his rookie season, but he still really can't be counted on in almost any league right now. Even if he keeps his starting job until Anderson Varejao comes back, the minutes don't seem like they'll be there.

Thu Feb 20 201413:16Zeller for Bullock deal 'not happening'
The discussion of a Tyler Zeller for Reggie Bullock deal has hit a snag and is "not happening."
The Cavs certainly have a lot less to give with Zeller likely to fall out of their rotation once Anderson Varejao (knee) comes back. Fantasy owners can keep Zeller as a plug-and-play in very deep leagues, but he obviously lost a lot of value with the arrival of Spencer Hawes.
