ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski believes "these sides are destined to reunite" and that they seek to renegotiate another deal. It coincides with the sentiment new general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. has shared regarding his desire to bring back the perennial All-Defensive player. Green is a dependable fantasy source of assists and defensive stats, but the 33-year-old has averaged less than nine points per game in each of the last five campaigns.

With the new CBA on the horizon, Golden State is in a financial crunch, so keeping its core together will prove difficult. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (ankle) was ejected from Game 2 against the Sacramento Kings on Monday due to stomping on Domantas Sabonis' chest. After the game, Green was experiencing some ankle soreness, so he reportedly asked for an X-ray on it. According to Marc Spears of ESPN, Green suggested that the injury stemmed from Sabonis grabbing his ankle before the stomp occurred.
