Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (illness) will be back in the lineup on Friday against Portland. The team has upgraded Butler from probable to available. Butler rejoins the action in a favorable spot against a struggling team, although he has been inconsistent with his performances lately. With that said, Butler always finds ways to make an impact on the court and should fill the stat sheet in a nice pace-up spot for the Heat squad.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (personal) will be out of the lineup Saturday against Atlanta for personal reasons. Lillard left Thursday's game versus New Orleans for an undisclosed reason. However, the 33-year-old missing the contest isn't due to an injury. AJ Green, Patrick Beverley (wrist), Pat Connaughton will likely see an uptick in minutes. The next chance for the guard to play will come on Tuesday versus the Washington Wizards.

Charlotte Hornets forward/center Davis Bertans (nose) has been upgraded from probable to available for Friday's meeting with Golden State. He will make a 16th consecutive appearance for the struggling Hornets. Bertans had a strong start to the month, but his shot has abandoned him lately, and Bertans likely won't make a big impact off the bench against the Warriors, who typically don't give up a lot of scoring to opposing second units.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) will be in the lineup on Friday versus Indiana. He has once again shaken off a questionable tag to face the Pacers for a second time in a short space of time. The two teams also clashed last Sunday, with James recording 26 points, five rebounds, and 10 assists in a high-scoring 150-145 win. Another shootout is expected between the two sides on Friday, putting James in a good position to fill up the box score again.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (knee) will return to the lineup on Friday against Indiana. He's ready to rock again after sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back versus Memphis on Wednesday. The Lakers also faced Indiana last week, and Davis went off for 36 points and 16 rebounds. It's a very favorable fantasy matchup, and we should see another juicy line from Davis on Friday.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Yuta Watanabe (personal) will remain out of the lineup on Saturday against Orlando. He's been absent for personal reasons for quite a while and will miss a 14th consecutive game. Watanabe's absence hasn't had a big impact on Memphis, as the Japanese forward has averaged fewer than 14 minutes per game in 2023-24. His next chance to return comes on Monday in a matchup against the Pistons.

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (illness) is considered unlikely to play on Saturday against Orlando. He's feeling under the weather, and the team has listed Aldama as doubtful for the game. Brandon Clarke, who's just made his season debut, should get a chance to play a bigger role without Aldama. The young duo of Jake LaRavia and GG Jackson II will be counted on more as well, along with Lamar Stevens, who has carved out a steady role off the bench lately. However, the Grizzlies find themselves in a pace-down spot on Saturday against a top defensive team, which could significantly impact the players' output.

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward John Konchar (heel) will likely miss a third consecutive game on Saturday versus the Magic. He's on the injury report as doubtful with right heel soreness. Konchar's absence increases the fantasy value of Scotty Pippen Jr., GG Jackson II, and Jake LaRavia. Luke Kennard, who's returning to the lineup on Saturday after sitting out five games, also has a better opportunity to make an impact with Konchar unavailable. If Konchar can't return on Saturday, he will have to wait for Monday's matchup against Detroit to get his next opportunity.

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Onyeka Okongwu (toe) won't play on Saturday versus the Bucks. He's been battling a toe sprain and recently missed a month. Although the 23-year-old returned for a few games, he'll now be sidelined for a fifth consecutive contest. Jalen Johnson (ankle) has a chance to return against Milwaukee, which could help lessen the blow. At the same time, Bruno Fernando, coming off a 6-point, four-rebound effort, has value for DFS managers who don't mind taking a chance.

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (knee) will remain sidelined for a 10th consecutive game on Saturday versus Orlando. The 23-year-old is still dealing with a left knee issue and will have the next opportunity to return on Monday against Detroit. GG Jackson II and Jake LaRavia should continue to feature heavily for the Grizzlies without Williams Jr, although Saturday's matchup is an uncomfortable one for Memphis against a slow-paced team that has a very good defense.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (back) won't be available for Saturday's clash with Orlando. The team has ruled him out for the contest with back soreness. Bane has averaged 18.6 points and 6.8 assists in 33.3 minutes across five games since returning from an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for nearly two months. With Bane unavailable, Scotty Pippen Jr. has a good chance to keep his recent momentum going. He's posted 13.8 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals over his last four appearances.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard (personal) appears ready to rejoin the lineup on Saturday versus Orlando, as the team has removed him from the injury report. Kennard has been absent for the past five games for personal reasons. The 27-year-old has averaged 12.4 points and 5.1 assists for the month and should continue to fill a big role on offense, with Desmond Bane (back) ruled out for Saturday and Vince Williams Jr. (knee) remaining on the shelf.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Bucks. The 22-year-old has averaged 16.1 points and 8.6 rebounds this season, a significant upgrade from the 2022-23 campaign. He's missed the Hawks' previous five games because of a sprained ankle, and while he could still miss the meeting with Milwaukee, he's at least moving in a positive direction. At any rate, until Johnson is back in the lineup, De'Andre Hunter, coming off a 21-point, 13-rebound double-double in Thursday's win over the Celtics, should continue to benefit. Vit Krejci should remain with the first five until Johnson is healthy enough to play, although he's averaged only 6.7 points in 11 starts this season.

Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz (knee) has been downgraded to out for Friday's matchup against the Clippers. He was listed as questionable on the initial injury report. Orlando continues to manage Fultz's left knee injury, and we should see him back in the lineup on Saturday as the team completes a back-to-back against Memphis. Fultz started the last game against Golden State, and Gary Harris, who is available again after missing two games with a foot injury, will be his replacement in the first unit. Harris doesn't offer a lot of fantasy value, averaging 8.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in a starting role.

Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) won't play on Friday night against the Bulls. He has missed the Nets' previous two games because of a hip issue but was probable heading into Friday's contest. But surprisingly, he was downgraded, meaning his next chance to suit up will be Sunday versus the Los Angeles Lakers. With that said, Brooklyn is rapidly falling out of Play-In contention, so there's a chance Smith won't be back this season. In the meantime, Dennis Schroder will get all the work he can handle, with Jacob Gilyard possibly getting a few minutes here or there.

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) isn't listed on the injury report heading into Saturday's clash with New Orleans. The veteran has been bothered by a toe sprain of late. While he's mostly played through the pain, he didn't suit up for Thursday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The C's got Jrue Holiday (shoulder) back for that one, so Horford would have come off the bench, decreasing his fantasy effectiveness. With that in mind, Horford has averaged 8.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, although he always has the potential to get hot whenever he steps on the court.

Golden State Warriors forward Dario Saric (knee) has been downgraded on Friday and will not play against the Charlotte Hornets. He was originally listed as questionable with a knee issue but has since been ruled out along with Jonathan Kuminga (knee). Both of them were enduring knee soreness and it seems as though the pain was enough to sideline them. Saric missing time won't shake up the rotation all that much as Trayce Jackson-Davis should continue to start in Kuminga's absence while Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody are the first two off of the bench. Kevon Looney will probably see a bit of time, but not enough to make him a must-play.

Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (knee) has been downgraded from questionable to out on Friday and will not play against the Charlotte Hornets. Losing a starter as each game becomes more and more important doesn't bode too well for the Warriors, but they realistically should be okay against the cellar-dweller Hornets. While Kuminga misses his second consecutive game, Trayce Jackson-Davis will likely remain in the starting five with Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski as the first two off of the bench. Draymond Green will probably get a big chunk of playing time in this one as well.

Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Huerter (shoulder) is set to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Huerter is expected to be fully healthy and ready to go by the beginning of the 2024-25 season. The 25-year-old first suffered the injury on March 15 against the Memphis Grizzlies and hasn't played since then. Losing one of their better shooters right before the playoffs isn't ideal for the Kings, but Keon Ellis has been playing well in his absence. Ellis should be the top streaming option for the rest of this year.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (oblique) has been ruled out in the first official injury report for the Saturday matchup against the Boston Celtics. The 25-year-old was also unable to play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, so there may be some extended time that he's going to miss. CJ McCollum and Trey Murphy III have taken over starting backcourt duties and Jordan Hawkins is likely to get more opportunities off of the bench. The former two should be the ones getting more attention in DFS lineups since Hawkins' minutes are inconsistent right now.
