Delano Howell remains out with a neck injury and it's not clear if he'll play this season. Anderson is battling Mike Adams and Sergio Brown for the starting job. It looks like Adams could start with Anderson as his backup.

Anderson tore his ACL last December, but appears ready to contribute. The special teams ace is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Anderson is just over six months removed from surgery, and coach Andy Reid insists he remains ahead of schedule in his recovery. Anderson was one of the NFL's premier special teamers before the injury.

The Eagles expect S Colt Anderson (torn ACL) and DT Mike Patterson (brain AVM) to be ready for training camp.
Neither player will participate in the Eagles' mandatory June minicamp, however. Coach Andy Reid also revealed Monday that LB Moise Fokou (ankle surgery) and C Jason Kelce (Lisfranc sprain) will be "good to go" for next month's minicamp.

Eagles S and special-teams ace Colt Anderson (torn ACL) thinks he has a chance to be ready for Week 1.
"I'm feeling really good. I'm right on track to get back, but it's just a process," Anderson said. "We'd like to get back before the season and be 100 percent by then." Anderson was drawing hype as a potential Pro Bowler before going down in Week 13 last season. Unless the Eagles have long-term concerns, Anderson should be kept around at his $490,000 salary.

Eagles placed S Colt Anderson on injured reserve with a torn left ACL, ending his season.
One of the Eagles' core special teamers, Anderson was considered to be playing at a Pro Bowl level before going down. Under contract for $490,000 next season, Anderson is likely to be kept around in Philly, but may begin 2012 on the PUP list. Still just 26 years old, he should be able to make close to a full recovery.

Eagles S Colt Anderson was sent to the locker room after sustaining a left knee injury early in the second quarter of Thursday's game at Seattle.
Anderson clutched his knee after taking a bad hit from behind on a punt return. He's out for the game. Anderson has been the Eagles' best special teamer this season.
