Gould nailed both of his two field-goal attempts in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Chiefs.
The kicks came from 30 and 44 yards, amounting to relative chip shots for the ultra-accurate Gould. Unfortunately for Gould's fantasy owners, they amounted to the only opportunities he received on the day, as the Bears went for two points on both of the fourth-quarter touchdowns they recorded.

Gould nailed all three of his field-goal attempts, but missed one of two extra-point tries in the Bears' 22-20 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Gould came through in the clutch for the Bears, nailing a 49-yard field goal with two seconds remaining in the game to give his team their first win of the season. Prior to those heroics, Gould missed his first kick of the season when his first-quarter extra-point attempt was blocked, but he's still been one of the league's more reliable kickers at the quarter pole. He's 5-for-6 on PATs and 9-for-9 from the field, including three makes from 50-plus yards.

Gould was held without a field-goal or extra-point attempt in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Seahawks.
The Bears were shut out for the first time since the 2002 season, as fill-in quarterback Jimmy Clausen struggled to move the ball all day against the suffocating Seattle defense. The team never even sniffed field-goal range for Gould over the afternoon, failing to advance further than the Seahawks' 45-yard line while punting on all 10 possessions. While Jay Cutler remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Chicago offense will likely continue to struggle under Clausen, but they should at least provide Gould with some scoring opportunities in the Week 4 matchup with the Raiders.

Gould knocked down all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 48-23 loss to the Cardinals.
After enduring one of the worst seasons in his career in 2014 from both a health and performance perspective, Gould has come back strong in the Bears' first two games. He's a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and hasn't been affected by the increased extra-point distance, nailing all four of those attempts. His final field-goal conversion in Sunday's game was from 51 yards, the second kick he's made from 50-plus yards already this season.
Tue Sep 15 201511:08Gould finished with 11 points in Sunday's 31-23 loss to Packers
Gould finished with 11 points in Sunday's 31-23 loss to the Packers. He was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals and 2-for-2 on extra points.
Following an excellent preseason in which he missed only one of his 17 extra-point and field-goal attempts, Gould remained dialed in during Week 1, nailing tries from 28, 50, and 44 yards while showing no ill effects from the increased PAT distance. Gould also made a bit of history in the process, as the three field goals gave him 246 for his career and allowed him to surpass Kevin Butler as the Bears' all-time leader in that category.

Gould went a perfect 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts in Thursday's preseason opener against the Dolphins.
Three of the field goals were of the chip shot variety, but Gould did knock down a 48-yarder to get the Bears on the board early in the second quarter. The strong showing had to be a confidence booster for Gould after the veteran kicker converted only six of 12 attempts during a team scrimmage over the past weekend. Assuming the Bears offense can get back on track this season under the stewardship of the new coaching staff, Gould should have no issues surpassing last season's career-worst 55 point total, which came over 12 games before his season ended due to a quad injury.

Gould (quad) will sit out Sunday's season finale against the Vikings, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gould indicated that his right quadriceps did not respond well to a kicking session he went through this past Friday, so he'll shut things down for the season, with Jay Feely set to handle the Bears' Week 17 kicking duties.

Gould (quadriceps) is questionable for Monday's game against New Orleans.
Gould was able to log a limited practice Saturday, which is somewhat encouraging, but he still looks like a game-time decision for Monday. Jay Feely is expected to kick if Gould cannot.
Fri Dec 12 201416:46Gould (quadriceps) did not practice Friday
Gould (quadriceps) did not practice Friday.
It's not clear whether Gould is a realistic bet to play against New Orleans this week, but he's been unable to practice thus far. Jay Feely should be the replacement if Gould sits again.
Thu Dec 11 201419:42Gould (quadriceps) didn't take part in practice Thursday
Gould (quadriceps) didn't take part in practice Thursday, the Bears' official site reports.
Gould has yet to practice since coming down with a sore right quad early last week. As a result, the Bears turned to Jay Feely, who went 2-for-3 on PATs with no field goal attempts last Thursday, and will likely do so again, if Gould is unable to sidestep the injury.

Gould (quadriceps) is inactive for Thursday's game versus the Cowboys, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Gould will yield kicking duties to recent pickup Jay Feely, who knocked in 30-of-36 field goals last season with the Cardinals and boasts a career 82.7 percent success rate on such kicks.

Gould was held out of Tuesday's practice due to a sore groin, Rich Campbell of The Chicago Tribune reports.
The extent of Gould's injury is uncertain, but the Bears have not signed another kicker as of yet, so it would appear they are optimistic he will be able to play Thursday.

Gould knocked down three extra-point attempts in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers, but failed to connect on a 54-yard field goal try.
Gould has now gone five weeks without making a field goal, which has limited him to just 11 points during that span. An outing at the domed Ford Field on Thanksgiving should provide a good opportunity for him to end the field goal dry spell, but he's still far from reliable as a fantasy option.

Gould converted three extra-point attempts but pushed a 47-yard field-goal attempt far right in Sunday's win over the Vikings.
Though the game was played amid wintry conditions, the missed kick was one Gould probably should have knocked down. Incredibly, it was Gould's first attempt from the field since the Oct. 14 against the Falcons, as the Bears had trailed big at halftime in each of the previous three games, forcing them to pursue touchdowns in the second halves of those contests. With just 47 points in 10 games, Gould is on track to post the lowest scoring total of his 10-year career.

Gould knocked down two extra-point attempts in Sunday's 55-14 loss to the Packers.
With the Bears facing a big halftime deficit for their third straight game, Gould once again failed to attempt a field goal. The veteran has accumulated just 44 points on the season, placing him 31st in the league among kickers.
Sun Oct 26 201419:52Gould made lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to Patriots
Gould made his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
With the Bears playing catch-up for the second straight week after falling behind 38-7 at the half, Gould saw the field for nothing but kickoffs after halftime. The team's huge deficit prompted coach Marc Trestman to bypass a pair of field goal attempts in the second half, instead choosing to go for it on two fourth-and-long situations in New England territory. In addition, the Bears elected to go for the two-point conversion on the two other drives they did punch in for touchdowns, resulting in Gould establishing a new season low of one point. With the Bears' offense no longer resembling anything close to the juggernaut many expected heading into the season, Gould doesn't make for an especially attractive fantasy kicker.

Gould knocked down both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Dolphins.
The two points were a season low for Gould, who has been handcuffed by an offense that hasn't lived up to its preseason expectations. Sunday's pathetic outing might have been the nadir in the Bears' season, and at this point, those who have held on to Gould are probably better served taking a week-to-week streaming approach at the position.
