Texans signed OLB Quentin Groves.
Groves, 30, was cut by the Browns last month and had previously worked out for the Titans, Redskins, Patriots, and Jets. While the former second-round pick never developed into an impact pass-rusher, Groves is a serviceable reserve who excels on special teams. He has a legit shot at the 53-man roster.

Free agent OLB Quentin Groves worked out for the Jets on Monday.
Groves was cut by the Browns last month and has also had workouts with the Patriots, Redskins, and Titans since. The Jets are banking on a soon-to-be 34-year-old Calvin Pace and a boom-or-bust Quinton Coples to man their starting edge rusher spots. They also seriously lack depth. Groves would by no means start, but he'd be a top reserve and contribute on special teams for Gang Green.
