Bears signed LBs Xavier Adibi and K.C. Asiodu.
A four-year veteran, Adibi spent four games on the Vikings' active roster last season, but was held off the stat-sheet. Vikings' beat writer Tom Pelissero believed Adibi looked "done." Asiodu was signed by the Packers following the lockout, but didn't crack the 53-man roster.

Wed Sep 8 201014:19Adibi to start with Cushing out
Coach Gary Kubiak announced Wednesday that Xavier Adibi will be the Texans' starting strong-side linebacker until Brian Cushing returns.
"Xavier's the guy," confirmed Kubiak. Adibi will be a big downgrade from "Cush" in terms of run support, but the Texans shouldn't lose too much in coverage. For Week 1, Joseph Addai remains a rock-solid RB2 starter.

Texans OLB Xavier Adibi (groin) made his preseason debut in Thursday's preseason finale.
Adibi made four tackles while playing about 30 snaps. Considering Brian Cushing's four-game suspension, it's big news for the Texans. Adibi still has a chance to start at strong-side linebacker come Week 1, although he's behind Kevin Bentley and rookie Darryl Sharpton right now.

Texans OLB Xavier Adibi (groin) has been cleared to resume practicing.
He missed almost all of camp, and may have fallen too far behind Kevin Bentley and impressive rookie Darryl Sharpton in the race to start in place of suspended SLB Brian Cushing. Adibi will try to gain ground the next two weeks.

Fri Aug 6 201012:28Texans LB Adibi out 'a few weeks'
Texans SLB Xavier Adibi (groin) is expected to be out "a few weeks."

Wed Aug 4 201021:23Adibi out with groin strain
Texans SLB Xavier Adibi is out indefinitely with what coach Gary Kubiak termed Wednesday "a very good groin strain."
Kubiak summed up Adibi's three-year career well: "It seems like every time he gets on the brink, something happens." Adibi was supposed to start the first four regular season games with Brian Cushing suspended. The strong-side job could now go to one of veterans Danny Clark and Kevin Bentley.

Mon May 17 201002:00Adibi moving to the strong side
The Texans will move Xavier Adibi from weak-side to strong-side linebacker in preparation for Brian Cushing's four-game suspension.
Zach Diles will stay on the weak side, instead of returning to his old SAM post for the season's first month. Though athletic, Adibi will likely be a liability in run defense if he beats out Danny Clark and rookie Daryl Sharpton.

Mon May 10 201010:49Adibi will compete for Cushing's job
Xavier Adibi and fourth-round pick Darryl Sharpton are expected to compete for the weak-side linebacker job while Brian Cushing is suspended.
Zac Diles is going to shift back to the strong side for the first month of the season and the Texans are expected to sign a veteran backup for the position. Adibi will almost certainly get the nod over the raw Sharpton on the weak side, but it's obviously a big downgrade for the Texans' defense.
