Daniels failed to catch any of the five passes thrown his way Sunday against the Raiders.

Oakland had given up some monster games to opposing tight ends this season, making Daniels' donut even tougher to swallow. The Broncos' passing game has struggled this season, which has included having Daniels stay on the line to block because of offensive line issues. He doesn't have nearly the receiving upside as Julius Thomas did the past two years, and while Daniels is good for a touchdown here and there, his fantasy upside is fairly limited.

Daniels had two catches on five targets for nine yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Vikings.

With wideouts Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders dominating the targets, it's unlikely that Daniels becomes an upper-tier fantasy option like Julius Thomas was the past two seasons, but he has scored a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. Additionally, he'll next face off against a Raiders defense that has been badly exposed by opposing tight ends this season.

Daniels caught five passes for 28 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Sunday's 24-12 win over the Lions.

Daniels made an excellent grab from 11 yards out to give the Broncos a 12-point lead in the final three minutes. He didn't do much outside of the game-clinching touchdown, but his nine targets were tied for second best on the team, and he played 60 snaps to Virgil Green's 15, according to Pro Football Focus. Daniels clearly isn't going to put up lofty yardage totals, but as the top tight end in Denver's offense, he could be a semi-regular visitor to the end zone.

Daniels caught three passes for 19 yards on five targets in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Chiefs.

Virgil Green caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown on three targets, but Daniels had a 67-28 advantage in snaps, according to Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus. Neither tight end looks like an appealing option through two games, but Daniels is at least ahead of Green.

Daniels had two catches on two targets for five yards Sunday against the Ravens.

Daniels failed to make an impact in the passing game like tight end Julius Thomas has in the past two seasons with Peyton Manning under center, as he was needed more as a blocker because the offensive line struggled to keep Manning on his feet. If the line continues to allow four sacks per game, like they did Sunday, Daniels will have few route-running opportunities.

Daniels caught four of five targets for 25 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Texans.

All five targets came from the hand of Peyton Manning, who completed eight of 14 passes for just 52 yards. Meanwhile, Virgil Green got some work with the first-team offense but didn't see a target until Manning left the game. Although he's a comfortable favorite to lead the Denver tight ends in targets, Daniels has a somewhat limited ceiling due to the presence of Green and James Casey, not to mention his own age.

Daniels did not play in Friday's preseason game against the Seahawks.

Fellow veterans Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders were also held out. Virgil Green, who is competing with Daniels for snaps and targets, caught five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown, making the most of his extended workload. The Broncos figure to use a lot of two-tight end formations this season, but Green's presence still severely restricts Daniels' ceiling, and James Casey may also have a role.

Daniels reached an agreement with the Broncos on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

As expected, Daniels will follow Gary Kubiak to Denver, after the duo spent one successful year in Baltimore. The Broncos also re-signed Virgil Green, who will likely focus more on blocking while Daniels serves as the team's primary receiving tight end. While it would be unwise to expect anything close to the numbers Julius Thomas provided, Daniels has a decent chance to improve on the 48-527-4 receiving line he put up in 2014.

Daniels will visit with the Broncos, the Denver Post reports.

This is one of the least surprising visits of free agency, as the 32-year-old Daniels has spent his entire career playing in Gary Kubiak's offense. With Julius Thomas set to join the Jaguars, Denver has an obvious need at tight end. Daniels is an excellent bet to either join the Broncos or re-sign with the Ravens.

Daniels had four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 35-31 playoff loss to the Patriots.

Daniels was targeted a team-high 11 times, though it took a while for Joe Flacco to connect with him, missing on the first four targets. Eventually they got going, and his 11-yard grab at the end of the second quarter was a thing of beauty, snagged between three defenders. Daniels is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Daniels caught four passes for 70 yards in Saturday's playoff victory over the Steelers.

Daniels finished second on the team in receiving yardage and tied the season-best 70 yards he put up against the Colts in Week 5. His next game will come against a Patriots team that gave up just two tight ends to opposing tight ends over its final seven games of the regular season.

Daniels caught 1-of-6 targets for seven yards in Sunday's 25-13 loss to the Texans.

Daniels had a disappointing game against his former team as the entire Baltimore offense struggled. While he's still the third or fourth option in the passing game, Daniels has two or fewer catches in five of the last six weeks. He'll look to bounce back in Week 17 against the Browns.

Daniels caught 4-of-9 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jaguars.

Daniels found the end zone for the first time since Week 7 while posting his second-best yardage total of the season. He's done a nice job of replacing Dennis Pitta from the Ravens' standpoint, but Daniels' receiving production falls quite a bit short of what could be expected from a healthy Pitta.

Daniels caught 2-of-3 targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 34-33 loss to the Chargers.

Daniels caught just two passes for a third straight game, and he only has two plays of 20 or more yards all season. He'll typically draw more than Sunday's three targets, but he isn't getting looks downfield or near the end zone.

Daniels caught 2-of-5 targets for seven yards in Monday's 34-27 win over the Saints.

Daniels continues to garner a decent portion of the targets in a balanced offense, but he's not getting many looks beyond 10 yards, and he offers little in terms of big-play ability. While he should bounce back to some extent in Week 13 against San Diego, the veteran tight end still has a rather limited weekly ceiling.

Daniels (knee) caught 2-of-4 targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 21-7 win over the Titans.

Joe Flacco only attempted 27 passes, with Steve and Torrey Smith combining for 15 of the targets. The two wideouts and Daniels have actually seen pretty similar target totals since Dennis Pitta (hip) went out for the season, but Daniels is largely catching dump-offs, while the Smiths (especially Torrey) are getting more shots down the field. The Ravens have also had unusually few possessions near the goal line, as the team's propensity for scoring long touchdowns has limited Daniels' opportunities to find the end zone. While that should correct to some extent later this season, Baltimore's offensive strategy does seem to encourage an odd mixture of punts and long touchdowns. Daniels' knee does not seem to be a concern, despite his presence on the injury report. He'll come out of the Week 11 bye with a favorable Week 12 matchup in New Orleans.

Daniels looked good last week, and he had no setbacks in practice this week, so he should be good to go.

Less than two weeks removed from minor knee surgery, Daniels mostly looked like his usual self, despite being viewed as a game-time decision. His nine targets led the team, but No. 2 tight end Crockett Gillmore hauled in a two-yard touchdown for his only catch of the game. Though he's proven to be a perfectly capable replacement for Dennis Pitta (hip), Daniels has just one touchdown over the last six games. He doesn't offer a ton of upside on a weekly basis but figures to find the end zone more often than he has thus far.

Daniels will give it a go Sunday night, though it's unclear how close to 100 percent he will be in the contest, coming off a knee scope that sidelined him for Week 8's loss to the Bengals.
