It's McIntosh's first known workout after he appeared in all 16 games for the Rams last season, making nine starts. He'd be a nice veteran addition for a linebacker corps that doesn't have a ton of depth.

The Rams would like to get free agent LB Rocky McIntosh under contract "relatively quickly," according to the Post-Dispatch.
McIntosh worked out for head coach Jeff Fisher Wednesday morning, and the coach liked what he saw. Considering McIntosh has been on the street all offseason, a contract should be easy to hammer out. He could push Jo-Lonn Dunbar or Mario Haggan for a starting role at outside linebacker in Fisher's 4-3 scheme.

According to ESPN 980 Washington's Chris Russell, Redskins ILB Rocky McIntosh "stuffed his bed with pillows/blankets to make it look like he was in and not breaking curfew" during the team's trip to Philadelphia.
"It did not work," according to Russell. Perhaps things would have turned out differently had McIntosh had his parents call coach Mike Shanahan and ask permission to stay out later. McIntosh will be playing elsewhere in 2012.

Sun Jan 1 201222:35Report: McIntosh 'essentially suspended'
ESPN 980 Washington's Chris Russell reports Redskins ILB Rocky McIntosh was "essentially suspended" for Week 17.
A surprise inactive, McIntosh reportedly drew the ire of coach Mike Shanahan for being "late to some meetings/inattentive." Set to become a free agent, McIntosh had appeared in every game before Week 17, starting eight. He tallied 65 tackles and one sack, grading out as one of the worst inside linebackers in the league by Pro Football Focus. There's a good chance his six-year tenure in Washington has come to an end.

Thu Aug 4 201117:10Rocky McIntosh moves back into lineup
Newly re-signed Redskins ILB Rocky McIntosh was immediately re-installed as a starter at his first practice of camp Thursday.
Perry Riley and H.B. Blades moved down a notch. Though McIntosh wasn't effective on the field last season, he did post a career-high 110 tackles as the inside 'backer next to London Fletcher. He's very much on the IDP radar, and he Skins will hope for improvement in McIntosh's second year of Jim Haslett's scheme.

Redskins re-signed ILB Rocky McIntosh.
We aren't aware of any free agent visits for McIntosh, whose market seemed slow to develop after a disappointing season. He'll likely slot back in as the starter next to London Fletcher. Re-siging McIntosh would seem to suggest the Redskins won't follow through on signing Lofa Tatupu, who was in for a visit Wednesday.

Wed Jul 13 201108:04Redskins 'wavering' on LB Rocky McIntosh
The Redskins' front office has reportedly "wavered" on the merits of re-signing free agent LB Rocky McIntosh.
McIntosh was ill-fitted for the new 3-4 defense, and he fared poorly in the coaching staff's 2010 evaluations. Given what we know about the Redskins plans, McIntosh is a poor bet to return.

Thu Jan 6 201113:36Skins expected to let go of McIntosh
The Redskins are not expected to retain impending free agent LB Rocky McIntosh for the 2011 season.
McIntosh wasn't awful in his first season as a 3-4 inside 'backer, racking up a career high 110 tackles, but the Skins weren't pleased that he skipped all of 2010 offseason workouts. Mike Shanahan is trying to run a tight ship.
