Moss was ejected from Sunday's game against the Giants after getting upset with a call late in the first half, the New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano reports.
Robert Griffin III appeared to score a rushing touchdown right before halftime, but after a replay review the referee made a befuddling decision to overturn the call. Moss was none too happy with the call and went at the officials, yelling and even swatting one of their hands away at one point. He'll finish the game with one catch for 18 yards.
Sun Nov 16 201411:29Moss listed as inactive for Sunday's contest against Buccaneers
Moss is listed as inactive for Sunday's contest against the Buccaneers.
Moss has only logged 10 offensive snaps the entire season, and won't see an opportunity to add to that total in Week 11. Although head coach Jay Gruden has hinted that Moss will be active at some point this season, things currently aren't looking optimistic for the 35-year-old wideout.

Coach Jay Gruden hinted Saturday that Moss would be activated at some point this season, the Washington Post's Liz Clarke reports. "I would imagine that by season's end, he's going to get his reps and he's going to get his looks. I don't know when that will be though," Gruden said of Moss.
Gruden has made it clear that he values raw speed in his wide receivers, and that is a trait that Moss no longer has in spades. Aldrick Robinson and Ryan Grant are currently ahead of Moss on the depth chart, and for now, the veteran receiver remains inactive, but there's a chance that will change later in the season.
Sun Sep 14 201412:23Moss listed as inactive ahead of Sunday's game against Jaguars
Moss is listed as inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Moss was also inactive for last weekend's season opener versus the Texans. With the 35-year-old sitting out another contest, Andre Roberts and Ryan Grant will serve as the Redskins' primary slot receivers Sunday.
Sun Sep 7 201412:13Moss inactive Sunday at Houston
Moss is inactive Sunday at Houston.
Moss' absence isn't a total surprise in his age-35 season. Robert Griffin will instead turn to Pierre Garcon, as well as offseason additions DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts, in the passing attack.
Thu Aug 7 201422:14Moss and Andre Roberts started Thursday's preseason opener again...
Moss and Andre Roberts started Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots in place of DeSean Jackson (ankle) and Pierre Garcon (hamstring), the Washington Post reports.
Jackson, Garcon and Roberts are locked in as the top three wide receivers, leaving Moss to compete for the No. 4 role against the likes of Ryan Grant, Aldrick Robinson, and perhaps Leonard Hankerson (knee). Moss could come into deep-league relevance with an injury in front of him, and his ability to return punts should help his chances of making the team.
Sat Jul 19 201414:39Redskins likely to keep Santana Moss
ESPN's John Keim expects Santana Moss to make the Redskins' 53-man roster.
Keim allows that Moss "still needs a good camp," but believes his spot is secure. Leonard Hankerson (knee) missed OTAs and minicamp, and could open 2014 on reserve/PUP. Moss likely only needs to hold off Aldrick Robinson and Nick Williams for the No. 5 receiver job.

Mon Jun 9 201413:19Santana Moss admits he's fighting for spot
Santana Moss admits his spot on the 53-man roster is not secure.
"I've never not had to go work for my job," Moss said Monday. "So at the end of the day, there's always competition." Now 35, Moss' spot was made tenuous by the additions of Andre Roberts and DeSean Jackson, not to mention Moss' sub-par play in 2013. He'll be in competition with Aldrick Robinson or Leonard Hankerson in camp.

Sat Apr 12 201410:56D-Jax signing hurts Moss' roster chances?
ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim believes Santana Moss' road to making the roster became more difficult when the team signed DeSean Jackson.
Jackson's signing shifts Andre Roberts into the third-receiver, slot role formerly manned by Moss. Turning 35 in June, Moss was a shell of his former self last season, struggling to a 42-452-2 campaign. Moss will likely have to beat out one of Aldrick Robinson or Leonard Hankerson in training camp to keep his job.

Fri Feb 7 201410:11Redskins, Moss talking about new deal
The Washington Post reports the Redskins and free agent Santana Moss have talked about a new contract.
Moss will turn 35 in June and has lost multiple steps over the past couple seasons. However, he remains a sure-handed receiver who does his best work out of the slot. The Redskins should be aiming higher, but Moss won't command any guaranteed money and will fight for a roster spot this summer if re-signed.

Sat Feb 1 201411:19Redskins not expected to re-sign Moss
Impending free agent Santana Moss is considered doubtful to re-sign with the Redskins.
Aside from Pierre Garcon, the Redskins don't have much at receiver. They need to be seeking upgrades this offseason, moving on from veterans Moss and Josh Morgan. Moss will turn 35 in June and isn't anywhere close to the player he was early in his career. It's quite possible Moss' playing days ended in Week 17.

Sun Dec 29 201318:24Santana Moss duds in possible final game
Santana Moss caught two passes for 13 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Giants.
It could very well be the final game of Moss' career. He's an unrestricted free agent that will turn 35 in June and can no longer separate. Despite an injury to Leonard Hankerson, Moss finishes his 13th NFL season with 42 catches for 452 yards with two touchdowns. He hasn't topped 600 yards or 50 catches since 2010 and will struggle to find a market come March.

Sun Dec 15 201319:03Santana Moss has best game of 2013 in loss
Santana Moss caught eight passes for 64 yards in Week 15 against the Falcons.
Moss was targeted nine times on a day where Kirk Cousins made his first start and threw 45 passes. Cousins excels in the short-to-intermediate game where Moss does his work out of the slot. It was arguably Moss' best game of the season, which tells you he's not on the fantasy radar.

Santana Moss caught two passes for 41 yards in Sunday's Week 11 loss at Philadelphia.
Moss did make two big catches as the Redskins tried to make a late comeback, but he was inefficient once again as he saw seven targets. The seldom used slot receiver hasn't topped two catches since Week 3.

Fri Nov 8 201300:51Santana Moss has one-catch night
Santana Moss caught one pass for 13 yards in Washington's Week 10 loss to the Vikings.
Bizarrely, Moss was also targeted on the Redskins' desperation final fourth down as they attempted to tie a 34-27 game. Moss hauled in an end-zone fade, but couldn't get both feet in bounds. It was a play call they'll be talking about during the long week in Washington. Moss has just six catches over his past six games.

Sun Nov 3 201318:21Santana Moss catches one pass in win
Santana Moss caught one pass for two yards in Sunday's Week 9 overtime win over the Chargers.
Moss is a bit player behind Pierre Garcon and Leonard Hankerson. The veteran is on pace for just 40 catches, 472 yards and two touchdowns. We wouldn't even expect him to reach those numbers.

Santana Moss caught two passes for 20 yards in Washington's Week 8 loss to the Broncos.
The 13-year veteran finishes the month of October with four catches in three games. There's no reason to expect November to be any better.
