Austin caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Washington.
Austin set a season-high in yards and scored his first touchdown of the year as quarterback Sam Bradford and the Eagles' offense finally clicked for a brief stretch in the second half. Despite limited production, Bradford has consistently targeted Austin on deep balls in the first four games, likely because of ideal coverage matchups. If Bradford can build on his best performance of the year, Austin could theoretically turn into a deep-bench option at wide receiver.

Austin caught two passes for 14 yards in Saturday's 39-26 win over the Packers.
Austin has seen a moderate number of targets through the Eagles' first three preseason games. He won't be higher than fifth at wide receiver on their depth chart when the season begins, but with an offense predicated on spreading targets and touches, he could theoretically see a few mildly successful games during the regular season. Still, he'll likely be a stretch for any fantasy owner's bench.

Austin caught two passes for 41 yards in Sunday's 36-10 win over the Colts.
Austin looked good in his first action since his kidney injury last season. He caught a 39-yard toss from quarterback Matt Barkley late in the first quarter against relatively good Indianapolis defenders. With wide receiver Riley Cooper continuing to be pushed to the perimeter of the team's offense, Austin could turn a strong preseason into a roster spot and a mildly productive stint with the Eagles this year.
Mon Mar 30 201518:21The Eagles have signed Austin to one-year contract
The Eagles have signed Austin to a one-year contract, ESPN.com reports.
Per the report, Austin's deal with the Eagles is worth $2.3 million, with the potential for him to earn an additional $700,000 in incentives. Austin caught 47 passes for 568 yards and two touchdowns with the Browns this past season, before missing the team's final four games with a kidney injury. Austin -- who turns 31 in June -- has missed 15 games over the past four season due to injuries, but assuming he can stay on the field, he'll provide added depth and experience to an Eagles' wideout corps that bid adieu to starter Jeremy Maclin in free agency. Austin is thus in line to jostle with the likes of Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff for slotting on the team's 2015 depth chart at the position.

The Eagles plan to sign Austin (kidney) if he passes a physical with the team, philly.com reports.
Prior to sustaining a season-ending kidney injury last year, Austin caught 47 passes for 568 yards and two TDs in his first campaign with the Browns. If he joins the Eagles -- Austin, who turns 31 on June 30, would provide the team's wideout corps with added depth and experience, following the loss of Jeremy Maclin in free agency. As it stands, Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff currently top the Eagles' depth chart at receiver.

Austin (kidney) is expected to be released from the hospital Wednesday night, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Austin was placed on injured reserve earlier on Wednesday, indicating that the kidney injury he suffered Sunday in Buffalo was indeed serious. He will reportedly head back to Cleveland in the near future, but will not return to game action this season. With Austin out, Josh Gordon figures to see a lot of targets for the remainder of the season with Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel being the top candidates for added work.
Wed Dec 3 201412:04Austin placed on IR
Austin, who suffered a kidney injury in Sunday's loss to the Bills, has been placed on IR, the Browns' official site reports.
Austin, who remains in the hospital at this time, finishes the season with 47 catches for 568 receiving yards, with two touchdowns. With Austin out for the season, top wideout Josh Gordon will no doubt remain busy going forward, with the likes of Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel candidates to see added looks down the stretch.
Tue Dec 2 201420:12Austin (kidney) will spend third night in hospital Tuesday
Austin (kidney) will spend a third night in the hospital Tuesday, the Associated Press reports.
Coach Mike Pettine is expected to provide an update on Austin's status Wednesday, but word out of Cleveland is that Austin is being held for precautionary reasons. The 30-year-old receiver was hospitalized following Sunday's loss to the Bills, a game in which Austin set season highs in receptions (7) and yards (86).

Austin (kidney) is dealing with a "more serious" injury than originally anticipated, and will once again stay in the hospital overnight Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Austin suffered a kidney injury in Sunday's contest, and was immediately taken to the hospital following the loss, where he stayed overnight. It looks like it will be two consecutive nights in the hospital for Austin, who's health is clearly of greater concern to coach Mike Pettine than his Week 14 availability. Despite the injury, Austin was still able to catch 7-of-9 targets in the game, and lead the team with 86 receiving yards. If he's unable to suit up for Week 14 and beyond, look for Andrew Hawkins to be the main beneficiary, with Travis Benjamin and Taylor Gabriel also representing outside candidates for an increased offensive snap count.
Sun Nov 30 201421:03Austin diagnosed with kidney injury
Austin has been diagnosed with a kidney injury, and he will stay overnight at a Buffalo-area hospital, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Austin was taken to the hospital because of abdominal pain, which apparently is originating from his kidney. He's surprisingly been more active in the two games since Josh Gordon returned from a suspension, catching 13 passes for 150 yards on 17 targets.

Austin was taken to the hospital following Sunday's loss to the Bills due to abdominal pain, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Austin finished Sunday's game with seven catches on nine targets for a team-high 86 yards, but his status will now be worth monitoring in the coming days to see if his ailment is something that could affect his Week 14 availability.

Austin caught six passes on eight targets for 64 yards in Sunday's victory over the Falcons.
Austin had been in line to see his role decrease upon the return of Josh Gordon, but he ended up with his highest receiving yards total of the 2014 season. This may have been partially due to the game flow and the Browns' need pass heavy near the end, but it was certainly encouraging to anyone clinging on to hope that Austin would be productive from a fantasy standpoint this season. He'll face a much tougher matchup next week, however, as the Bills are tied for third fewest passing touchdowns allowed (14) in the league entering Sunday.

Austin caught three passes on eight targets for 31 yards in Sunday's loss to the Texans.
Austin was the third most frequently targeted receiver for the Browns, but wasn't able to turn that into much fantasy production, as the offense as a whole struggled Sunday. Austin has seen double-digit targets just once this season, and that likely won't change any time soon with star wideout Josh Gordon set to make his return in Week 12. Despite a favorable matchup against a 32-ranked Atlanta pass defense, Austin's fantasy value is trending downward at the moment.

Austin caught 5-of-6 targets for 48 yards in Thursday's 24-3 win over the Bengals.
With Andrew Hawkins (knee/thigh) and TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) sidelined, Austin led the team in targets, followed by fellow wideouts Taylor Gabriel and Travis Benjamin, both of whom had five. The Browns attempted just 23 passes and gave a combined 48 carries to their three-headed backfield. Austin did well with his limited opportunities, but he still hasn't topped six receptions or 54 yards in a game this season. With Hawkins quite possibly back for next week, and Josh Gordon returning for Week 12, Austin will soon have a hard time matching the modest numbers he has recorded for most of the year.

Austin caught three passes on five targets for 54 yards in Sunday's victory over the Buccaneers.
Austin was a candidate or increased looks with tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion) inactive, but the veteran ended up turning in a modest stat line, and his 54 yards actually matched a season-best. These types of numbers are starting to look more and more like the ceiling for the 30-year-old wideout, who has been targeted in the red zone just three times this season. Until that number improves, expect mediocre production from Austin.

Austin hauled in both passes thrown his way for 34 yards in Sunday's victory over the Raiders.
Austin hasn't caught more than three passes since Week 3, representing a major disappointment for fantasy owners that have still been hanging on to him. Andrew Hawkins led the team with seven catches (nine targets), 88 yards and a touchdown Sunday, and looks to have established himself as the top option in the passing game in the absence of Josh Gordon (suspension). Although Austin may see a few extra looks next week if Jordan Cameron (concussion) is forced to miss time, the veteran is still not a high-percentage fantasy play until he can prove otherwise.

Austin caught three passes on eight targets for 53 yards in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars.
Austin recorded his second highest target total of the season, but was unable to turn that into significant fantasy production. He's now been held out of the endzone for three straight weeks, and has yet to even come close to a 100-yard receiving performance this season. Although the 30-year-old wideout is No. 1 on the team's depth chart, he has yet to truly produce like a top target, and risks seeing reduced looks once Josh Gordon returns from suspension in a few weeks.

Austin caught two passes on three targets for 29 yards in Sunday's victory over the Steelers.
Austin has now recorded just two catches in back-to-back weeks, and he hasn't found the endzone since Week 3 against the Ravens. To be fair, Cleveland receivers as a whole didn't produce much on Sunday afternoon, as the team had the lead for the majority of the game and didn't need to resort heavily on the passing attack. Austin will look to bounce back next week in what should be a better matchup for all Browns' receivers. They'll head to Jacksonville to take on a Jaguars' team that was dead last in the league in passing yards allowed per game heading into Week 6.

Austin caught two passes on three targets for 54 yards in Sunday's victory over the Titans.
Despite scoring in back-to-back contests prior to Sunday, Austin matched a season-low in targets and receptions in the road matchup following the team's bye week. Although he remains one of the Browns' top receiving targets in theory, the inconsistency can make him a tough fantasy option to rely on. He'll look to bounce back in next week's rematch with the Steelers.

Austin caught six passes on seven targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Ravens.
Austin has now caught touchdown passes in back-to-back weeks, as the 30-year-old continues to see meaningful looks in the Cleveland passing game. Nonetheless, fellow wideout Andrew Hawkins has seen more targets than Austin in each of the Browns' first three contests. Despite being the clear No. 2 target, Austin should continue to be a serviceable fantasy option in deeper formats, at least until Josh Gordon returns from suspension. Once that happens, Gordon will likely assume a meaningful portion of Austin's targets. Fortunately for Austin owners, Gordon is not eligible to return until Week 12.
