The balloon reportedly hit a set of power lines, and Stallworth is in stable condition after suffering burns. His girlfriend was also in the balloon at the time of the accident. It's unclear if she was injured. ESPN's Adam Schefter says Stallworth should make a full recovery and be able to resume his career.

Stallworth knows the offense and can provide the occasional presence outside the numbers, but the Pats had already picked up Brandon Lloyd and Anthony Gonzalez in the early days of free agency.
