Mon Nov 18 201316:27Bucs send CB Michael Adams to injured reserve
Bucs placed CB Michael Adams on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
Adams had been dealing with knee issues since Week 1, where he underwent a clean-up procedure. The exact extent of his injury is unknown, though it's serious enough to cost him the final six games. Adams struggled in limited snaps this season, and is not under contract for 2014, which will be his age-29 campaign. Adams has made 80 career appearances, but only seven starts.

Bucs CB Michael Adams underwent knee surgery Wednesday.
Adams will miss multiple weeks, but is expected to avoid injured reserve. He should return as the Bucs' No. 4 corner and contribute on special teams.

Bucs signed CB Michael Adams and waived G Jeremy Lewis.
Adams spent six seasons with the Cardinals, starting seven of the 75 games he appeared in. He can help in the slot and act as a deep reserve while Darrelle Revis (ACL) eases his way back into action.

Sun Nov 13 201123:42CB Adams suffers hamstring injury vs. PHI
Cardinals CB Michael Adams left Sunday's game during the third quarter with a hamstring injury, but managed to return and finish the game.
Arizona can ill-afford to lose any of their cornerback depth, as they are one of the worst pass-defending units in the league.

Mon Nov 7 201112:19Michael Adams released from hospital
Cardinals CB Michael Adams (neck/shoulder) has been released from the hospital.
Good news, but Adams is unlikely to suit up against the Eagles after his scary collision with Rams WR Austin Pettis late in Sunday's win. Richard Marshall should see most of the snaps at nickel corner in Adams' absence.

Sun Nov 6 201119:21Michael Adams carted off after injury
Cardinals CB Michael Adams was carted off after suffering a neck or shoulder injury on a fourth-quarter tackle in Sunday's game.
Adams blew up Austin Pettis after a short catch with under 20 seconds left in the game. It was a big play, but Adams paid for it by leading with his head. The Cardinals' slot cornerback, Adams figures to be replaced by Richard Marshall with A.J. Jefferson returning outside if the injury is significant.

Sun Aug 7 201116:33Michael Adams having his knee scoped
Cardinals CB Michael Adams is out indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Sunday.
The usual timetable for such "minor" operations is only 2-4 weeks, but that's never a guarantee. Adams was the Cardinals' primary slot corner last season. Richard Marshall sometimes covered the slot in Carolina and could be the fall-back option inside, if he hadn't already moved ahead of Adams.

Sat Jul 30 201102:02Cardinals re-sign slot corner Michael Adams
Cardinals re-signed CB Michael Adams to a two-year contract.
Adams is a pint-sized (5'8/181) slot corner whom Arizona didn't tender as a restricted free agent before the lockout. They wanted him back all along, however, and he's likely to return in a similar role between rookie Patrick Peterson and Greg Toler this year. Adams also contributes a bit in kickoff coverage.

Sun Jun 19 201112:49Odds better than 50-50 cards keep Adams
Pro Football Weekly reports the odds are greater than 50-50 that free agent Michael Adams will re-sign with the Cardinals.
A bit surprising, since the Cardinals did not place a restricted free agent tender on Adams in March. If he does indeed end up back in Arizona, he's likely to serve as the Cardinals' fourth corner this season.

Fri Mar 4 201116:59Cardinals don't tender Adams, Maui'a
The Cardinals declined tenders to CB Michael Adams and FB Reagan Maui'a, making them unrestricted free agents.
Adams is hardly a star, but it's a bit surprising that he didn't get tagged after serving as Arizona's nickel back all last season. The 26-year-old had two picks and five special teams tackles. Maui'a started four games and was marginal as a lead blocker. He also had five special teams stops.

Mon Jan 3 201113:55Michael Adams to have shoulder surgery
Cardinals CB Michael Adams will undergo shoulder surgery this offseason.
It's presumably a cleanup-type procedure of arthroscopic nature. Adams, 25, finished his contract year with career highs in tackles (52) and interceptions (2). The Cards should try to upgrade at nickel back during the offseason.
