Sun Sep 27 201511:38Ajirotutu (elbow) active Sunday against Jets
Ajirotutu (elbow) is active Sunday against the Jets.
Ajirotutu may be active, but he gets most of his reps on special teams, which limits his fantasy upside in most formats.
Fri Sep 25 201514:03Ajirotutu (elbow) probable for Sunday's game against Jets
Ajirotutu (elbow) is probable for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Ajirotutu will return from a one-week absence to help out on special teams. He's only fifth or sixth on the depth chart at wide receiver.
Tue Sep 22 201513:11Ajirotutu (concussion) took part in Tuesday's practice
Ajirotutu (concussion) took part in Tuesday's practice, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ajirotutu was back on the field Tuesday after missing last week's game due to the concussion. While he is apparently healthy again, he will remain primarily depth at the wide receiver position for the Eagles.
Tue Apr 7 201516:29Ajirotutu has signed one-year contract with Eagles
Ajirotutu has signed a one-year contract with the Eagles, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Ajirotutu was on San Diego's active roster for all 16 games in 2014, despite catching just four passes for 45 yards on 12 targets. He's primarily a special teams player, and is unlikely to help fill the void left by Jeremy Maclin's departure.
Sat Aug 16 201401:22Ajirotutu caught one pass for 26 yards on two targets in Friday'...
Ajirotutu caught one pass for 26 yards on two targets in Friday's preseason game against the Seahawks.
Ajirotutu wasn't targeted until the second half, which comes as no surprise. Malcom Floyd seems ready to step back in as a starter following last season's spinal cord injury, and Eddie Royal is still No. 3 on the depth chart. With No. 2 tight end Ladarius Green also expected to play a major role in the offense, Ajirotutu likely needs an injury or two in front of him in order to become a regular contributor.

Chargers re-signed WR Seyi Ajirotutu to a one-year contract.

Seyi Ajirotutu caught two passes for 38 yards in Sunday's Week 11 loss at Miami.
When Keenan Allen (knee) went down in the fourth quarter, Ajirotutu became an every-down player. He had two big catches on the failed final drive. Ajirotutu is a player for extreme deep leaguers to monitor as we await word on the severity of Allen's injury.

Sun Aug 25 201300:34Seyi Ajirotutu exits game with hip pointer
Chargers WR Seyi Ajirotutu left Saturday's preseason game with a hip pointer.
Ajirotutu had one catch for 13 yards and was targeted three times before exiting. He was just signed by the Chargers last week and is competing for a roster spot behind Eddie Royal and Keenan Allen. Ajirotutu should be considered day to day.

Fri Aug 16 201315:19Chargers working out Seyi Ajirotutu
The Chargers are working out free agent WR Seyi Ajirotutu on Friday.
The onetime fantasy hero spent most of 2012 on the Chargers' roster, but wasn't picked up in the spring. Ajirotutu knows Philip Rivers, of course, and would provide depth after the injuries to Danario Alexander and Malcom Floyd.

Tue Dec 4 201215:57Chargers place Ajirotutu, Molk on I.R.
Chargers placed WR Seyi Ajirotutu (hand) and C David Molk (thumb) on season-ending injured reserve.
Ajirotutu had his hand in a cast after last week's game. He had three catches for 45 yards in three games with the Chargers. Michael Spurlock will likely see increased snaps, though he's far from a fantasy option. A special teamer and extra blocker in jumbo packages, Molk suffered a thumb injury in Week 13.

Chargers WR Seyi Ajirotutu left the stadium with his right hand in a cast after Sunday's loss to the Bengals.

Fri Nov 2 201200:59Ajirotutu reels in a 28-yard pass in debut
Seyi Ajirotutu caught one pass for 28 yards in his Week 9 Chargers debut.
Ajirotutu was targeted just the one time and capitalized on it with a slick 28-yard third-down diving catch on the opening series. He was only forced into minimal action due to Robert Meachem and Eddie Royal being out with hamstring injuries. Ajirotutu will go back to fourth or fifth receiver duties in Week 10.

Fri Aug 31 201214:33Panthers part ways with WR Seyi Ajirotutu
Panthers waived WR Seyi Ajirotutu, OT Matt Reynolds and LB David Nixon.
Ajirotutu entered camp in need of a big preseason, but instead caught just two passes for 18 yards across Carolina's four exhibition tilts. It bodes poorly for Ajirotutu's future that he couldn't carve out a role in the Panthers' thin receiver corps.

Mon Jul 30 201219:12Seyi Ajirotutu in mix for No. 2 job?
According to the Charlotte Observer, Seyi Ajirotutu is "making himself a part" of the competition for the Panthers' No. 2 receiver job.
This is the same Ajirotutu who caught one pass in 14 games last season. Barring an exceptionally poor preseason, Brandon LaFell should have Carolina's No. 2 job locked down, leaving Ajirotutu to compete with David Gettis and Louis Murphy for No. 3 duties. It would be surprising if Ajirotutu ended up higher than fourth or fifth on the depth chart.

Sun Sep 4 201114:52Panthers claim WR Ajirotutu off waivers
Panthers claimed WR Seyi Ajirotutu off waivers from the Chargers.
No surprise here. HC Ron Rivera and OC Rob Chudzinski are collecting former Chargers. Ajirotutu will reunite with Legedu Naanee as Carolina's fifth receiver. He offers more promise as a deep threat than David Clowney, who was released Sunday.

Tue Aug 2 201115:32Ajirotutu won't have a shot to start
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune downplays the idea that Seyi Ajirotutu could compete for the starting job opposite Vincent Jackson.
Ajirotutu is behind Patrick Crayton and third-rounder Vincent Brown in the pecking order. "This is not a slam on Seyi," explains Acee. "He is just not a starter in the league right now." Acee also believes the Bolts remain in the market for a veteran addition, presumably to start over Crayton.

Mon Jun 27 201115:53Ajirotutu expected to make Chargers' roster
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune expects Seji Ajirotutu to make the Chargers' roster this season.
Ajirotutu has a solid year in the system and should hang on as a fourth or fifth receiver, competing with rookie Vincent Brown for backup snaps. Acee predicts that Ajirotutu will catch around 20 passes in his second NFL season.

Fri Jan 14 201113:31Ajirotutu headed for fourth receiver role?
Beat writer Kevin Acee expects Seyi Ajirotutu to enter the 2011 season as the Chargers' fourth or fifth receiver.
In other words, Dynasty leaguers clinging to Ajirotutu with Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd hitting free agency shouldn't get their hopes up. V-Jax is a prime candidate for the franchise tag. The Bolts are interested in re-signing Floyd as well, though they're expected to face competition. Patrick Crayton is expected back, and Kelley Washington could resurface as well.
