Vick completed 13-of-26 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and rushed once for 24 yards in Monday night's win over the Chargers.
Vick's passing totals were largely boosted by his 72-yard touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton during the fourth quarter, when the veteran also led the Steelers on a late game-winning drive. While Vick should be commended for his late-game contributions, the first three quarters of Monday night's game evidenced his inexperience in Pittsburgh's offense, as most his passes were check downs to underneath receivers. Vick's only interception came on a hail mary to end the first half, so to his credit, he managed to take care of the ball even despite his limitations elsewhere. If starter Ben Roethlisberger (knee) remains sidelined going forward, Vick figures to continue to fill in at quarterback in Week 6 against a playmaking Cardinals defense.

Vick completed 19 of 26 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown, adding nine carries for 33 yards, in Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Ravens.
Vick completed 73 percent of his passes and didn't turn the ball over, but it was still an ugly performance. He was largely responsible for at least two of his sacks, and he missed some very simple throws, including one on fourth down in overtime that didn't look like it could have come from an NFL quarterback. To be fair, Vick should've had a 36-yard touchdown pass earlier in the game, but Antonio Brown uncharacteristically dropped a sliding grab. As will likely be the case until Ben Roethlisberger (knee) returns, the Pittsburgh offense was incredibly reliant on Le'Veon Bell, who had 150 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 29 touches (seven receptions). Even with an excellent supporting cast and decent matchup, Vick will be tough to trust in a Week 5 road game against the Chargers. Given San Diego's early struggles against the run, Bell should be in for another busy night.

Vick completed 5-of-6 passes for 38 yards after coming on for Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter Sunday against the Rams when he was knocked out with a knee injury.
Roethlisberger had to be carted off the field and there is a big concern that he could miss a number of weeks due to the injury. If that's the case, Vick will be the starter for at least Week 4, which unfortunately for the Steelers will come Thursday against the Ravens. Vick still has plenty of weapons around him, namely receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le'Veon Bell, and he could get wideout Martavis Bryant back in Week 5, making him an decent fantasy option in most formats.

Vick will play in Pittsburgh's third preseason game against the Bills, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Vick figures to see a solid chunk of playing time as the Steelers evaluate their newest acquisition. He should be the second quarterback out there, and it will be telling how Pittsburgh operates its playcalling with a player so different in skillset from starter Ben Roethlisberger.
Tue Aug 25 201519:35Michael Vick: Signs with Pittsburgh
Vick signed a one-year contract with the Steelers on Tuesday, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
With Bruce Gradkowski (dislocated finger) landing on injured reserve, Vick will provide the Steelers with a veteran option behind Ben Roethlisberger. The 35-year-old Vick isn't quite as dynamic these days and barely completed over 50 percent of his passes with the Jets last season, but his greater body of NFL experience probably makes him a more reliable insurance at quarterback than Landry Jones.
Tue Aug 25 201510:42Vick will meet with Steelers on Tuesday
Vick will meet with the Steelers on Tuesday, ESPN.com's Adam Schefter reports.
Bruce Gradkowski, who is competing with Landry Jones to serve as the Steelers' backup quarterback, needs surgery on a dislocated finger on his non-throwing hand. Pittsburgh doesn't seem like a particularly good fit for Vick, who completed just 52.9 percent of his passes for the Jets last season. At this point in the preseason, Pittsburgh would probably be better off sticking with Landry Jones as the backup, if Gradkowski isn't ready by Week 1.

Head coach Rex Ryan said Friday that he "anticipates" Geno Smith will be the Jets' starting quarterback for the final five games of the season, with Vick as the backup, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports.
Mehta's sources with the team indicate that the coaching staff would rather go with Vick, but the Jets' front office brass wants to further evaluate Smith over the final month of the season. Assuming Smith stays healthy, Vick will have little value in most leagues the rest of the way.

Vick (calf) will serve as the backup quarterback behind Geno Smith in Monday's game against the Jets.
Vick was the favorite to hang onto the starting quarterback job for another week, but based on a report from Tuesday, either he will not be healthy enough to play Monday, or head coach Rex Ryan was overruled in his desire to keep Vick the starter. One way or another, Vick will back up Smith in Week 13.
Tue Nov 25 201417:55Vick (calf) will start for Jets in Week 13
Vick (calf) will start for the Jets in Week 13, as long as he is healthy and head coach Rex Ryan retains the right to decide who starts at quarterback for the Jets, the New York Daily News reports.
Those are a couple big "ifs," as those above Ryan could force him to go back to Geno Smith, and Vick's health is uncertain, but it appears Vick is still Ryan's guy for now. The Jets play on Monday again next week, so they may not reveal who will start at quarterback in Week 13 for another couple days.
Mon Nov 24 201422:24Michael Vick: Benched In Loss, Week 13 Starter Uncertain
Speaking after Monday's 38-3 loss to the Bills, Jets head coach Rex Ryan said he isn't sure who will start at quarterback in Week 13 against the Dolphins, Seth Walder of the NY Daily News reports.
Poor play and injuries may both factor into the decision, as Vick underwent X-rays for an undisclosed issue, after completing just 7-of-19 passes for 76 yards in Monday's game, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Vick was removed in favor of Geno Smith midway through the third quarter, following an interception that allowed the Bills to take a 31-3 lead. Smith fared a bit better than Vick in garbage time, completing 10-of-12 passes for 89 yards, albeit with zero points on four drives. Regardless of which player is under center, the New York passing game will likely struggle in a difficult Week 13 matchup with the Dolphins.

Vick (foot) completed 10-of-18 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's upset victory over Pittsburgh. He also scrambled eight times for 39 yards.
Vick took four sacks but didn't turn the ball over, a performance the Jets will gladly accept. He'll be challenged next week at Buffalo.
Sun Nov 9 201411:35Vick (foot) active and starting Sunday against Steelers
Vick (foot) is active and starting Sunday against the Steelers.
Vick was able to practice fully all week despite the foot injury and as long as he performs well, he should maintain his starting job over Geno Smith, who is also active Sunday.

Vick (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, the Jets' official site reports.
After practicing fully all week, Vick is in line to draw the start at QB for the Jets on Sunday against a Pittsburgh squad that has won three straight games, with Geno Smith slated to serve as his backup, per ESPN.com.
Wed Nov 5 201414:31Vick (foot) practiced fully Wednesday
Vick (foot) practiced fully Wednesday, Seth Walder of the Daily News reports.
Geno Smith is also practicing fully, per the report, but Vick's full practice participation Wednesday solidifies the notion that the veteran QB will start Sunday's game against the Steelers, as planned.

Vick is dealing with a foot issue as this coming Sunday's game against the Steelers approaches, Manish Mehta of the Daily News reports.
Vick, who missed one series during this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs with a head injury, is evidently dealing with a lingering foot issue, per the Star-Ledger, but despite the veteran quarterback's aches and pains, coach Rex Ryan declared Sunday that Vick would start Week 10's game against the Steelers. We'll let you know if that plan changes at all as the week rolls along.

Coach Rex Ryan relayed Sunday that Vick is slated to start next week's game against the Steelers, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
Though the Jets fell to 1-8 by losing to the Chiefs 24-10 on Sunday, Vick turned in a respectable effort, completing 21-for-28 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown, while rushing four times for 18 yards. Though Vick suffered a head injury in the fourth quarter of the contest, he missed just one series, and is now on track to get at least one more start at QB for the Jets over Geno Smith.

Vick, who suffered a head injury in Sunday's game against the Chiefs but was able to return, completed 21 of 28 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown, and added 18 rushing yards on four carries in a 24-10 loss.
Vick got the start ahead of Geno Smith, who was benched in the first quarter of last week's game and was officially inactive this week due to a shoulder injury. Vick connected with wideout Percy Harvin nine times for 99 yards, and threw his lone touchdown pass to wideout Eric Decker in the second quarter. While he was fairly accurate, it wasn't a great performance, and there is already talk that Geno Smith could start in Week 10 against the Steelers, which would obviously return Vick to the backup role.

Vick suffered a head injury and is being evaluated for a concussion after hitting his head on the turf during Sunday's game against the Chiefs, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York. HIs return is questionable.
Matt Simms will take over for Vick, who got the start ahead of Geno Smith, who was benched last Sunday and is inactive, technically with a shoulder injury. Vick was 12-of-14 for 92 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game.
Mon Oct 27 201416:56Michael Vick: Week 9 Starter
Vick will start at quarterback for the Jets on Sunday against the Chiefs, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.
Per Manish Mehta of the Daily News, coach Rex Ryan indicated that Vick's hold on the Jets' starting QB job isn't guaranteed beyond Week 9, but with Geno Smith banged up and having struggled against the Bills in Week 8, the 1-7 Jets will turn to Vick in the hopes of sparking the team's offense. The veteran QB thus merits a speculative add for those looking to boost their depth at QB or who are looking for short-term help in Week 9, which features six NFL teams on bye.
Sun Oct 26 201418:12Vick replaced ineffective Geno Smith in first quarter of Sunday'...
Vick replaced an ineffective Geno Smith in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Bills and finished 18-of-36 passing for 153 yards with an interception. He added eight carries for 69 yards.
The Jets were hoping that Vick could give the team a spark, and while he did make a few plays with his legs that energized the crowd, the offense didn't fare a whole lot better with him under center. Smith's benching seemed to be purely performance-related, but after the game he underwent X-rays on his shoulder, the results of which the Jets did not reveal. Regardles of Smith's injury status, coach Rex Ryan said he has "no idea" who will start next week against the Chiefs. Neither option is especially appealing.
