Cook struggled in Sunday's 24-10 loss to Green Bay, only grabbing one of his six targets from quarterback Nick Foles.
Foles was completely off his game on Sunday, which certainly affected Cook in a negative way. Even so, after a decent start to the year, Cook has only five catches for 37 yards in his last three games combined. He may bust out for another solid game or two the rest of the way, but those looking for a consistent option should look elsewhere.

Cook caught three passes for 22 yards in a 24-22 win against the Cardinals on Sunday.
Cook received the second-most targets on the Rams with six, but didn't do much on Sunday. He appears to be Nick Foles' favorite target, but still only has 14 catches for 161 yards and no scores in four games.

Cook tallied a single catch for 7 yards in a 12-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Cook had led the Rams in receptions the first two games but yielded to Kenny Britt on Sunday. The Rams' offense uses every single weapon it has on offense, which leaves little consistent production from their tight ends and wideouts. Cook has few games as bad as this one, but has a low ceiling and is a lower-end TE2 at best.

Cook once again led St. Louis in receiving on Sunday with five catches for 47 yards in a 24-10 loss to Washington.
Cook seems to be Nick Foles' favorite target so far, with a team-high 10 receptions and 127 yards. Those aren't terrible tight end numbers, but with the abundance of fantasy-relevant tight ends out there, Cook is in the second or third tier of fantasy options.

Cook had five catches on six targets for 85 yards Sunday against the Seahawks.
Cook led the team in receptions and receiving yards, though quarterback Nick Foles' lone touchdown went to backup tight end Lance Kendricks. The Rams have a number of solid pass-catching wide receivers, not to mention Cook and Kendricks and the running backs, and given that Foles spreads around the targets fairly evenly, Cook's fantasy upside is somewhat limited.
Sat Aug 15 201511:30Cook targeted once in Friday's preseason opener against Raiders
Cook was targeted once in Friday's preseason opener against the Raiders.
The first-team offense played two drives, with Nick Foles only attempting five passes. Cook was targeted in the end zone on a 3rd-and-4 from the Oakland 13-yard line, but the ball was knocked away by Raiders cornerback T.J. Carrie. Locked in as the starting tight end, Cook should be one of the leading beneficiaries if Foles proves to be a significant upgrade at quarterback.

Cook led the Rams with 52 receptions in 2014, tallying 634 yards and three touchdowns.
Cook once again had a decent season, but for $7 million a year, he's been kind of a disappointment in St. Louis. Some of that, however, can be contributed to a rough quarterback situation, as he was targeted at least seven times in half the games in 2014. Look for a similar season in 2015, barring a big upgrade at the quarterback position in St. Louis.

Cook was targeted seven times in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Giants, finishing with five catches for 41 yards.
Same old, same old for Cook, who rarely surprises with his statistical production. His five catches were his most since Week 3.

Cook caught 3-of-8 targets for 22 yards in Thursday's 12-6 loss to the Cardinals.
Cook, along with Stedman Bailey and Kenny Britt, was one of three St. Louis players to receive either eight or nine targets. The other two guys did more with their chances, as Cook turned in a dud for the fourth time in his last five games. Though he showed last week that he's capable of the occasional big outing, Cook has only caught more than four passes on one occasion this season.

Cook had four catches on five targets for 61 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 24-0 win over Washington.
An excellent bounce back performance for Cook, who failed to catch the lone pass thrown his way in Week 13 against the Raiders. Cook had only one touchdown coming into Sunday's game, which came back in Week 10 against the Cardinals, who happen to be the Rams' opponent in Week 15.

Cook (back) failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 52-0 win over the Raiders.
Getting one target was quite surprising for Cook's fantasy owners, as nine passes were thrown his way just a week ago against the Chargers. However, he's never been a great upside play, and he has only one touchdown on the season, making him a very limited fantasy option.
Sun Nov 30 201411:46Cook (back) listed as active for Sunday's game against Oakland
Cook (back) is listed as active for Sunday's game against Oakland, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Cook was targeted nine times (while catching three passes for 27 yards) in Week 12, but with just 46 receiving yards over his last two games and just one TD in 11 games overall, he's a hit-or-miss option at the tight end position.
Fri Nov 28 201417:35Cook (back) probable for Sunday's game against Oakland
Cook (back) is probable for Sunday's game against Oakland.
Cook practiced all week, including full practices Thursday and Friday, so he ought to be at or close to 100 percent health. Cook has been regularly targeted all year, but with just one touchdown and just 37 receptions on 70 targets, he's not one of the league's more efficient tight ends.
Thu Nov 27 201415:53Cook (back) full practice participant Thursday
Cook (back) was a full practice participant Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Owner of 14 targets over the last two games, Cook has clearly been considered by Shaun Hill in his return to a starting gig. If the duo's chemistry improves -- they've only made six connections during that span -- Cook could regain relevance in Week 13 against a Raiders defense that has yielded 12.2 YPC and three touchdowns to tight ends in the past three tilts.
Wed Nov 26 201421:22Cook (back) limited participant in Wednesday's practice
Cook (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, the Rams' official site reports.
Cook's usage has ramped up with Shaun Hill under center the past two games, but the tight end has failed to do much with 14 targets, recording six receptions for 46 yards. If Cook continues to earn such a substantial workload, though, an outburst could soon come to pass.
Sun Nov 23 201414:39Cook (back) active for Sunday's game against Chargers
Cook (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Cook will play through his injury, but he's clearly banged-up, and the Chargers have been pretty stingy against the pass this season. Use him if you need him, but temper your expectations.
Fri Nov 21 201417:19Cook (back) questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego
Cook (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego.
It sounds like Cook's back is a legitimate threat to keep him out of this game, but the good news is he logged two limited practices to close out the week. If Cook sits, Lance Kendricks should see a decent promotion.
Thu Nov 20 201418:56Cook (back) limited participant in Thursday's practice
Cook (back) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Cook returns to practice after missing Wednesday's iteration. While he's hauled in at least three balls in seven of 10 contests this season, he hasn't been afforded a palatable matchup Sunday against the Chargers, who have surrendered two touchdowns among 39 receptions in 2014.
Wed Nov 19 201418:46Cook (back) didn't practice Wednesday
Cook (back) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Cook has held down a modest role in the Rams' passing attack this season, recording at least three catches in seven of 10 games. His usage has been more sparse over the last five tilts, during which he posted 11 receptions (on 19 targets) for 151 yards. As the week of preparation unfolds, expect his status for Sunday's game in San Diego to receive clarification.

Cook caught 4-of-11 targets for 74 yards in Monday's 31-17 loss to the 49ers.
Cook's inefficient outing was largely due to Austin Davis' lack of accuracy, and the veteran tight end had a 21-yard gain called back on a dubious offensive pass interference penalty that changed the course of the game. While it may have been a frustrating night for Cook, his continued involvement in the offense is promising for owners. He has 30 targets over the last three games, with a team-high 42 on the season. He also has at least four receptions and 44 receiving yards in every game, but has yet to find the end zone. Week 7 will bring a tough home matchup with the vaunted Seahawks defense.
