Jennings had 11 carries for 46 yards and four catches for 21 more yards Sunday night.
Jennings is the team's best all-around running back and should see the bulk of the work on the ground. He'll lose catches to Shane Vereen, however, and goal-line carries to Andre Williams.

Jennings rushed nine times for 38 yards and caught two passes on two targets for 54 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Bills.
Jennings led the Giants in rushing and receiving yards, though neither total was terribly prolific. Additionally, Andre Williams actually got two more carries than Jennings and Shane Vereen got five himself, as the Giants continue to use a bit of a committee approach. 51 of Jennings' 54 receiving yards came on his touchdown, so while it was good to see him involved in the passing game, the length of his completion was a bit fluky. Up next is a Week 5 home game against a fairly weak 49ers defense.

Jennings gained 32 yards on 11 carries and 25 yards on three receptions in Thursday's 32-21 win over the Redskins.
Andre Williams got the only two goal-line carries, finishing with 14 totes for 29 yards and a touchdown. Shane Vereen added 23 yards on six carries, but he surprisingly didn't catch any passes on his three targets. The three running backs each took about one-third of the snaps, with Williams at 23, Vereen at 22 and Jennings at 21, according to Pro Football Focus. Despite starting at running back, Jennings actually made his biggest impact on special teams, with his blocked punt giving the Giants an early 2-0 lead. As part of a committee backfield, Jennings has very limited upside each week, with a Week 4 game in Buffalo looking particularly unfriendly.

Jennings managed to gain just 12 yards on nine carries in Sunday's game against the Falcons. He added 12 more yards on two receptions.
A miserable home debut for the veteran, who managed a meager 1.3 yards per carry against the unit that allowed 47 fantasy points to running backs in Week 1. It's been a tough start to the season for Jennings, who is averaging 2.9 yards per carry and continues to cede snaps to Shane Vereen and Andre Williams as the Giants use a committee approach out of the backfield. Things don't get any easier, as Jennings will go up against a stout Redskins run defense in Week 3.

Jennings had 13 carries for 52 yards and a score Sunday night against the Cowboys.
He only saw one target which fell incomplete. Meanwhile, Shane Vereen had five targets (and three carries) while Andre Williams had six carries. The Giants offense didn't see a lot of snaps due to the Cowboys' deliberate pace and their own defensive scores, but expect Jennings to see roughly 60 percent of the carries and some occasional targets so long as he's healthy.

Jennings rushed nine times for 28 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's game against the Jets.
The veteran saw more totes than anyone else out of the Giants backfield as the starters played the entire first half. Notably, Andre Williams, Jennings' chief competition for carries, only received two touches. Most of the passing downs this season will go to Shane Vereen and Williams will be lurking, but Jennings should lead the team in carries for as long as he's healthy.

Jennings remained the first running back listed on the team's depth chart, even if he has split practice snaps with newcomer Shane Vereen, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Jennings had seen some second-team snaps last week, but it's likely the Giants were just giving Vereen and Andre Williams a chance to get in sync with the ones. Expect Jennings to be the starter, but one who gets spelled more often than most.

Jennings has seen a good deal of second-team and special-teams reps in camp so far, according to the New York Daily News.
The writer of the article teases with the headline "Rashan [sic] Jennings falls down the depth chart," spelling his first name wrong and announcing a depth chart change without citing anything more than Jennings' "great many" snaps with the second team. There is not a single quote from a coach justifying the headline. The writer then backs off the headline and says: "At the least, this looks like a backfield-by-committee," something that was never in doubt. Assuming Jennings has in fact been running with the second team - something we'll confirm if/when another source corroborates it - it's worth noting, but it's possible the Giants are simply letting Shane Vereen get acclimated to playing with the starters on his new team.

Jennings is likely to cede touches in the passing game to newly-signed Shane Vereen next season.
Andre Williams, who led the team is rushing is also back, so it's a crowded backfield - at least if all three stay healthy. Given Jennings' and Vereen's injury histories, it's likely the problem of overcrowding will solve itself at some point.

Jennings (ankle) had 10 carries for 33 rushing yards and three catches on five targets for 21 receiving yards during Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
Jennings was expected to get a bigger share of the backfield touches, as rookie Andre Williams was dealing with a shoulder injury, but it was the latter who finished with more touches, rushing 15 times for 43 yards and a touchdown, while also catching three passes on three targets for 19 receiving yards. Jennings signed a four-year contract with the Giants earlier this year, so they could certainly keep him around for next year if they like, but after a solid season from Williams, the Giants could use the two of them in tandem next season, which could limit both of their fantasy upsides.
Sun Dec 28 201411:35Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Active Sunday
Jennings (ankle) is active for Sunday's contest against the Eagles, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Upon the release of Friday's injury report, Jennings was deemed probable for Week 17, while fellow back Andre Williams (shoulder) was handed a questionable designation. The duo achieved active status, but considering Jennings appears to have entered the weekend with greater health, he's the prime candidate to handle the majority of the snaps against a Philadelphia defense that has given up five rushing scores to running backs in the last two games.
Fri Dec 26 201413:48Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Probable For Week 17
Jennings (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings practiced on a limited basis all week, but he is on track to return to action after missing last week's game. Fellow running back Andre Williams was also limited all week but is listed as questionable, so it appears Jennings is the healthier of the two entering Sunday's game. The Giants will likely split the carries in some fashion if both Jennings and Williams play Sunday, but if the latter is forced to sit out, Jennings would be the favorite to see the bulk of the work out of the Giants' backfield.
Wed Dec 24 201415:32Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Limited Wednesday
Jennings (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings fit in his first reps since aggravating his ankle in Week 15, but even if he's available out of the Giants' backfield Sunday against the Eagles, it's unclear how the snaps will be split with rookie Andre Williams. If Jennings is deemed questionable on Friday's injury report, a full workload is probably out of the question. As a result, owners should monitor the situation as the week rolls along.
Wed Dec 24 201413:46Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) Practices Wednesday
Jennings (ankle) practiced Wednesday, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.
The activity marked Jennings' first since aggravating his ankle in Week 15, signaling an imminent return to the field. However, his status should be monitored closely as the week draws to an end to ensure he takes the field Sunday versus the Eagles.

Jennings (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
Jennings has been unable to practice all week, so this hardly comes as a surprise. Andre Williams is expected to start for the Giants on Sunday, while Jennings will work toward a possible Week 17 return against the Eagles.
Fri Dec 19 201412:30Jennings (ankle) once again absent from practice Friday
Jennings (ankle) was once again absent from practice Friday, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
Graziano expects Jennings to be officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams when the Giants release their official injury designations. Assuming that happens, Andre Williams will lead the way for New York at running back.
Thu Dec 18 201413:00Rashad Jennings: (Ankle) No Practice Thursday
Jennings (ankle) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports.
Jennings' continued absence substantiates the belief that he won't suit up Sunday in St. Louis. A decision could come down as early as the release of Friday's injury report, but in any case, expect Andre Williams to head the Giants' backfield in Week 16.

Jennings (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday and appears unlikely to play this week, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Barring a turnaround later in the week, expect Andre Williams to start in his place.
Wed Dec 17 201411:34Jennings (ankle) won't practice Wednesday
Jennings (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.
Jennings lasted just one carry in Week 15's win over Washington, with his missed practice Wednesday reinforcing that his status for Sunday's game against the Rams is cloudy. If Jennings is out, or limited this weekend, Andre Williams (18 carries for 44 yards this past Sunday) would once again be in line for added touches in the Giants' offense.
Wed Dec 17 201410:30Jennings (ankle) listed on Giants' early injury report
Jennings (ankle) was listed on the Giants' early injury report.
Jennings' inclusion on the injury report hardly comes as a surprise after he aggravated his ankle injury last week. His workload, and availability altogether, for Week 16 will likely be determined based on how much work he gets in at practice over the next few days.
