Chandler was on the field for just 10 of 59 snaps on offense in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Cowboys, ESPN.com reports. He was not targeted in the contest.
Per the report, the Patriots spent much of Sunday's game using three-wide receiver sets, but the fact remains that Chandler is a hit-or-miss fantasy option, whose utility hinges on occasional trips to the end zone.

Chandler, who was on the field for 32 of 81 snaps on offense in Sunday's 51-17 win over the Jaguars, per ESPN's Mike Reiss, caught both of his targets in the game, for 25 yards.
With six catches for 49 yards and a Week 1 TD to his credit though the Patriots' first three games, Chandler remains an option only in the deepest of fantasy formats, that is as long as fellow TE Rob Gronkowski remains healthy.

Chandler was on the field for 43 of the Patriots' 86 snaps on offense in Sunday's win over the Bills, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports. The tight end caught three passes for 23 yards in the contest.
Chandler did have some chances around the goal line Sunday, but as long as star TE Rob Gronkowski remains healthy and productive, Chandler is going to be a hit-or-miss option in TD-heavy formats.
Fri Sep 11 201510:25Chandler
Chandler, who caught his only target for a one-yard TD in Thursday's win over the Steelers, was on the field for 25 snaps in the contest, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Top tight end Rob Gronkowski was on the field for 61 snaps on Thursday, while Michael Williams saw 18 snaps and Michael Hoomanawanui was out there for 13. In any case, while there will be weeks where Chandler sees more targets, as long as Gronkowski is healthy, Chandler will be a hit-or-miss fantasy option, dependent on the weekly level of his red zone usage.

NESN.com suggests that Chandler figures to see an expanded role in the Patriots' passing offense until wideout Brandon LaFell comes off the team's PUP list.
Rob Gronkowski is the Patriots' clear-cut starter at tight end, but it's plausible that the team's lack of proven wideout depth could result in Chandler seeing a decent amount of action in two-TE sets. Heading into Week 1, Chandler remains a speculative play, but at 6-foot-7, the former Buffalo Bill offers some intriguing potential as a red zone weapon.

Chandler caught three of his four targets for 40 yards and a TD in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers.
At 6-foot-7, Chandler has some potential to emerge as a red-zone option for the Patriots, but he will will be a hit-or-miss fantasy option as long as starting TE Rob Gronkowski remains healthy.

Chandler (knee) returned to practice Tuesday.
Chandler's 6-foot-7 frame gives him some potential to emerge as a red-zone weapon in the New England offense, but as long as Rob Gronkowski remains healthy, Chandler figures to slot in weekly as a hit-or-miss fantasy option.
Tue Aug 18 201515:06Chandler (knee) did not practice Tuesday
Chandler (knee) did not practice Tuesday, the Boston Herald reports.
Once he returns to action, Chandler slots in as a complementary option/backup behind undisputed starter Rob Gronkowski. Rounding out the Patriots' tight end corps are Michael Hoomanawanui, Asante Cleveland, Jake Bequette, Jimmay Mundine and Logan Stokes.

Chandler (knee) is not expected to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Packers ESPN.com reports.
Chandler has been slowed recently by a minor knee issue, but at this stage the tight end's regular season availability does not seem to be in peril. Chandler's 6-foot-7 frame gives him some potential to emerge as a red-zone weapon for the Patriots, but as long as starting TE Rob Gronkowski remains healthy, Chandler will be a hit-or-miss fantasy option.
Sun Aug 9 201517:01Chandler slowed recently by minor knee issue
Chandler has been slowed recently by a minor knee issue, the Boston Herald reports.
It doesn't appear as though Chandler's current injury issue is a major concern, though of course as long as fellow TE Rob Gronkowski is able to take the field, Chandler will be a hit-or-miss fantasy option, albeit one whose size could make him an intriguing red-zone weapon for the Patriots.

Chandler sat out Wednesday's minicamp session with an undisclosed injury, ESPN.com reports.
The tight end's injury doesn't appear serious and with Tim Wright no longer in the Patriots' mix, the 6-7 Chandler could merit attention in deeper formats if he carves out a notable complementary role behind starter Rob Gronkowski, specifically as a red zone weapon.
Fri Mar 13 201513:21Chandler has reached agreement to join Patriots
Chandler has reached an agreement to join the Patriots, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Chandler moves from a team lacking talent at his position to a team with the NFL's best tight end. He thus seems unlikely to maintain his low-end production from Buffalo, so long as Rob Gronkowski stays healthy. Of course, that's far from a given, as Gronkowski has a lengthy injury history. Unfortunately, there aren't many leagues in which it makes sense to hand-cuff a tight end, even the uber-talented and injury-prone Gronkowski.
Wed Mar 11 201517:05Chandler released by Bills on Wednesday
Chandler was released by the Bills on Wednesday.
The Bills are overhauling their offense this offseason and look to be making a big play for Charles Clay in an effort to give him a deal the Dolphins won't match. Even if that doesn't happen, this is a new regime and Chandler's time in Buffalo is finished. The team still has plenty of cap room and trying to get a multi-skilled tight end appears to be at the top of the wish list. Chandler never quite fit that bill, though he definitely exceeded his price in four full seasons with the Bills, considering he was picked off the cut scrap heap late in 2010 and ended up logging 181 catches and 17 touchdowns.

Chandler finished the 2014 season with 47 catches on 70 targets for 497 yards and three scores.
Former coach Doug Marrone and coordinator Nathaniel Hackett never really figured out how to use the big Chandler effectively in the red zone, and he put up just five TD catches combined the last two seasons after having six each in 2011 and 2012. The Bills had a pretty poor offense in 2014, and there's talk about the team either drafting or picking up a more explosive tight end for new coach Rex Ryan and coordinator Greg Roman to go with rising wideout Sammy Watkins. We'll see if the Bills improve the position, but if they do it would mean Chandler's dull fantasy line would be primed to move farther off the radar.

Chandler had four catches for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Raiders.
Chandler has topped 50 yards just once since Week 6. Playing the touchdown guessing game with him has been a crapshoot as well, with just three scores this year. He's no more than a low-end option against the Patriots next week.
Fri Dec 19 201413:38Chandler no longer listed on Bills' Week 16 injury report
Chandler, who missed practice Wednesday due to an illness, is no longer listed on the Bills' Week 16 injury report.
While the tight end will be available Sunday against the Raiders, Chandler has been a hit-or-miss yardage option of late, and with just two scores in 14 games to date, his upside in TD-heavy leagues continues to remain modest.
Thu Dec 18 201412:28Chandler (illness) returned to practice Thursday
Chandler (illness) returned to practice Thursday, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Chandler's return to the field Thursday suggests that he'll be a go Sunday against the Raiders, though his hit-or-miss yardage totals limit his utility to deeper formats, given that the tight end has found the end zone just twice in 14 games to date.
Wed Dec 17 201416:44Chandler (illness) missed practice Wednesday
Chandler (illness) missed practice Wednesday, the Bills' official site reports.
Though Chandler was sent home Wednesday, we'd expect him to return to practice later this week and suit up Sunday against the Raiders. The tight end has been a hit-or-miss yardage option of late, and with just two trips to the end zone in 14 games to date, his upside in in TD-heavy leagues remains modest as well.

Chandler caught both of his targets for a modest 22 yards in Sunday's win over Green Bay.
Not one person in the receiving game did anything for the Bills, as Kyle Orton has a number of options to consider and it's a passing offense that struggles as it is. Chandler has had a few big games this season, but over the last two years he's lost his red-zone value and pretty much anyone in the Buffalo passing games remains a hit-or-miss option. Chandler saw 68 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday.

Chandler had a career-high eight receptions (on 11 targets) for 81 yards in Sunday's loss at Denver.
Chandler had nearly half of his yardage late in the fourth quarter, but he was involved throughout. The big TE also had a short touchdown called back due to an offensive pass interference penalty on himself. While he did extend his arms and push off a bit in the end zone, the penalty was called extremely late, after a Broncos' defender complained to the referees. In any event, it was a nice rebound performance from Chandler, after he caught just three passes for two yards last week. Meanwhile, newcomer MarQueis Gray was quiet Sunday, failing to catch a pass, after he had 71 receiving yards in his Bills' debut in Week 13. Next week, Chandler will face a tough Packers' secondary.
