Fri Jul 31 201512:43Dickerson (Achilles) placed on IR
Dickerson (Achilles) has been placed on IR, the Titans' official site reports.
The backup tight end was never expected to contribute much with at least three guys in front of him on the depth chart, but it's sad to see that Dickerson's season is essentially over before it started.
Wed Jun 17 201512:40Dickerson suffered torn Achilles' tendon on Tuesday
Dickerson suffered a torn Achilles' tendon on Tuesday, wkrn.com reports.
The backup tight end did not record a catch with the Titans in 2014, and was not expected to bring significant pass-catching value in 2015. This injury should have little impact on the top of the team's tight end depth chart, where Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano (in that order) remain the favorites for targets.

The Titans have placed Dickerson on IR, the Tennessean reports.

Thu Jun 19 201412:18Dorin Dickerson gets deal with Titans
Titans signed TE Dorin Dickerson and released TE David Wright.
Dickerson appeared in five games for the Lions last season, catching two passes for 34 yards. A journeyman tweener who can play some fullback and receiver, he'll be on the outside of the roster looking in when the Titans reconvene for training camp in a month.

Lions signed TE Dorin Dickerson.
It's a sign the Lions don't expect Tony Scheffler (concussion) back any time soon. Dickerson will likely slide in at No. 3 on the depth chart behind Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria, though the Lions also have rookie Michael Williams.

Fri May 31 201315:26Bills move Dorin Dickerson to tight end
The Bills have moved Dorin Dickerson back to tight end.
It's a smart move by Dickerson -- who personally requested the change -- because the Bills are weak at tight end. He was initially slated to practice at wide receiver under the new coaching staff. Dickerson also plays H-back.

Wed Mar 6 201316:52Bills bring back H-Back Dorin Dickerson
Bills re-signed TE/WR Dorin Dickerson.
Dickerson broke the news on his Twitter account, which was good enough for the Bills' official website. The H-Back was a minuscule part of the offense last season, catching just nine passes in 11 games. Teams will be forever intrigued by his athleticism, but Dickerson's role should remain small in 2013.

Sat Jun 23 201214:00Dorin Dickerson's odds of roster spot good
WGR 550 Buffalo "wouldn't be surprised at all" if H-Back Dorin Dickerson cracks the Bills' 53-man roster.
Dickerson impressed as he racked up first-team reps throughout the Bills' offseason program, leading both WGR and the Buffalo Times to give him a fighting chance of earning a roster spot. However, even if Dickerson finally finds a home, his offensive role is expected to be limited. Per the Times, coach Chan Gailey is "considering" reintegrating the H-Back - a tight end who lines up off the line of scrimmage - into his offense.

Sun Jun 10 201209:16H-Back Dickerson working with first team
Bills H-Back Dorin Dickerson has seen a "heck of a lot of" reps with the first-team offense at OTAs.
Dickerson was impressive at the 2010 combine, but wasn't selected until the seventh round by the Texans. He's also had stops with the Steelers and Patriots, but finally has a shot to make a 53-man roster as the Bills' third tight end. He won't make a fantasy impact.

Mon May 14 201216:09Bills sign Dorin Dickerson
Bills signed FB Dorin Dickerson, formerly of the Patriots.
Though Dickerson is usually considered a receiver or tight end, the Bills listed him as a fullback, suggesting he'll be an H-back type in Chan Gailey's spread offense. Dickerson will have to excel on special teams to make the club.

Sat May 5 201215:02Dorin Dickerson to work out for Bills
Free agent TE/WR Dorin Dickerson will work out for the Bills this week.
The former seventh-round pick hasn't appeared in a game since 2010, and spent last season on the Steelers' practice squad injured reserve. Teams have never figured out what to do with Dickerson's 6-foot-2, 227 pound frame, but it's possible athlete-friendly Bills coach Chan Gailey will see something he likes.

Mon Sep 5 201115:25Dorin Dickerson will work out for Steelers
Free agent WR/TE Dorin Dickerson will workout for the Steelers this week.
Dickerson starred in the Steelers' backyard at Pitt as recently as two years ago. Though he's tweener at 6'2/226 coming off a failed transition to wide receiver in Houston, Dickerson' explosive athleticism is well worth a flier. The Steelers could try him in an H-back situational role.

A seventh-round pick out of Pitt last year, Dickerson was still struggling with the conversion from tight end to wideout. He caught just two balls for 28 yards this preseason after being held without a catch in seven games as a rookie.

Tue Aug 9 201116:29Dickerson getting hold on No. 4 WR job
Dorin Dickerson is getting a "firm hold" on the Texans' fourth receiver job.
The Texans opened the job by releasing David Anderson, and Dickerson has "caught everything" early in camp. Barring injury Dickerson's biggest contribution will likely come on special teams this season. Undrafted rookies Terrence Toliver and Jeff Maehl are competing with Trindon Holliday for the final receiver spot.
