Sun Sep 27 201512:11Little inactive for Sunday's game against Ravens
Little is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Little's inability to play on special teams has prevented him from earning an appointment to the active roster for any of the Bengals' three games this season. Expect Little to enter the lineup only if one of the team's top four receivers goes down with an injury.
Sun Sep 13 201514:59Little inactive for Bengals' season opener against Raiders
Little is inactive for the Bengals' season opener against the Raiders, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Little was able to claim a spot as the Bengals' No. 5 receiver in training camp, but because of his limited ability to contribute on special teams, he'll be in street clothes for the opener.

Little surprisingly won a roster spot with the Bengals, due in part to his ability to play on special teams.
Little isn't guaranteed to be dressed for Week 1 - he essentially will battle week-in, week-out with rookie Mario Alford.
Thu Jul 30 201517:24Little signed one-year contract with Bengals on Thursday
Little signed a one-year contract with the Bengals on Thursday, Rand Getlin of NFL Network reports.
Since his selection in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Little's relevance has dwindled slowly but surely to the point of only six active outings during the 2014 campaign. Because injuries weren't at the crux of his issues, perhaps joining the Bengals in mid-October lent itself to a lack of output. With an entire training camp to endear himself to Andy Dalton, Little has a chance to land a modest role behind the likes of A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu, Marvin Jones, and Brandon Tate in the WR pecking order.
Fri Feb 27 201513:26Greg Little: Released By Bengals
Little was released by the Bengals on Friday.
A former second-round selection of the Browns, Little has struggled with drops throughout his career, along with an inability to consistently get separation. He does offer an excellent combination of size and strength for a wide receiver, so he shouldn't have much trouble finding a team that will let him compete for a roster spot. At this point, it's probably safe to write Little off as nothing more than a depth player.
Sun Nov 30 201411:51Little (illness) inactive for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay
Little (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.
An illness is excuse enough to deem Little inactive for the third week in a row, and eighth time in 12 contests this season.
Sun Nov 23 201411:39Little inactive for Sunday's game against Texans
Little is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans.
That's back-to-back games as a healthy inactive for Little, who has clearly fallen to the bottom of the Bengals' wide receiver depth chart.
Sun Nov 16 201411:55Little inactive for Sunday's game against Saints
Little is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.
As a healthy scratch Sunday, Little remains a break or two away from fantasy relevance.
Mon Oct 27 201416:08Little had three catches for 42 yards in Bengals' win over Raven...
Little had three catches for 42 yards in the Bengals' win over the Ravens on Sunday. Two of those catches came in the red zone, getting the Bengals inside the 5-yard line.
Little actually was open in the end zone on another target, but Andy Dalton missed him. Little's action could decline, however, when A.J. Green returns, possibly as early as Week 9.
Tue Oct 14 201414:39Little signed with Bengals on Tuesday
Little signed with the Bengals on Tuesday, NFL.com reports.
Little has been released by both the Browns and Raiders this season, but now joins the Bengals to help their situation at wide receiver. With both A.J. Green (toe) and Marvin Jones (ankle) slated to miss Sunday's game versus the Colts, Little's signing adds depth to Cincinnati's wideout options. While he's likely to be buried behind Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate, Dane Sanzenbacher and James Wright in the Bengals' pecking order at the position, Little now has the chance to catch-on with another franchise.
Sat Aug 30 201416:15The Raiders have released Little
The Raiders have released Little, NFL.com reports.
Little, who recorded 41 catches for 465 yards and two touchdowns for the Browns in 2013, figures to get a look elsewhere as a depth wideout, though after being let go by the Raiders, his fantasy prospects don't look especially promising unless he lands in an ideal spot.
Sat Aug 2 201418:25Little (hamstring) returned to practice Saturday
Little (hamstring) returned to practice Saturday, Scott Bair of CSNCalifornia.com reports.
Little tweaked his hamstring during Monday's practice and missed several days a result, but his return bodes well for his chances of taking the field for the team's preseason opener next Friday. He's by no means assured of a roster spot, after coming over from Cleveland on a waiver claim in May.
Wed Jul 30 201420:46Little (hamstring) unable to practice Wednesday
Little (hamstring) was unable to practice Wednesday, Scott Bair of CSNCalifornia.com reports.
A hamstring tweak, suffered during Monday's practice, kept Little on the sideline again Wednesday and it's uncertain when he may be cleared to return to the field. There's still time plenty of time for Little to make his case for a roster spot, but each day missed is hurting his chances of breaking camp with the Raiders.
Mon May 19 201416:15OAK claims WR Little off waivers from Browns
Raiders claimed WR Greg Little off waivers from the Browns.
The 2011 second-rounder didn't make it past many teams on waivers. It's not surprising considering his draft pedigree and affordable $753,750 salary, but Little won't be assured of a roster spot for a team with a crowded, if unsettled, receiver corps. Little has been a massive disappointment despite ideal measurables (6-foot-2, 220 pounds, 4.51 speed), catching just 155 passes in three years while struggling with drops and mental mistakes. Little remains off the fantasy radar.

Sun May 18 201410:30Panthers keeping eye on Greg Little
The Charlotte Observer reports the Panthers have "discussed" free agent Greg Little but don't plan to put in a waiver claim on him.
Little was waived by the Browns on Friday and will very likely get claimed by someone before Monday at 4 PM ET. He has just one year left on his rookie deal at a meager $753,750. The Panthers seem content with Jerricho Cotchery, Kelvin Benjamin, and Jason Avant atop the depth chart. Little went to North Carolina.

Sun May 4 201415:40Greg Little will be fighting for roster spot
The Cleveland Plain Dealer expects Greg Little to "be fighting for a roster spot" in 2014.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported in February that Little was "almost certainly" going to be released had Cleveland's old front office hung around. The Browns have three draft picks in the top 35, and we fully expect one to be devoted to a wide receiver. Cleveland has Josh Gordon locked in at X receiver and Andrew Hawkins in the slot, but no Z receiver (Little's old position).

Tue Feb 11 201415:41Greg Little was going to be cut by old regime
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Greg Little was "almost certainly going to be cut" by the old Browns regime.
Rapoport now reports Little "maybe" has a chance to play out the final year of his rookie contract. That's a couple of "almosts" and "maybes," so we truly have no idea what's in the cards for Little. All we know is that Little has been a colossal bust since being the 59th pick in 2011 and seems to be regressing. Little has already previously admitted he doesn't know what his future holds.

Mon Dec 23 201309:47Greg Little's future with Browns is uncertain
Greg Little isn't sure if the Browns will want him back for the final year of his rookie contract.
It's not often that a former second-round pick's future is in doubt when he's scheduled to make just $753,750. But Little has been that bad throughout his time in Cleveland. Things appeared to reach a tipping point on Sunday as he dropped a pass in the end zone and was benched in favor of Brian Tyms.
