Ravens waived/released RB Delone Carter, QB Caleb Hanie, QB Dayne Crist, LB Brandon Copeland, OT Jordan Devey, OT Rogers Gaines and G/C Reggie Stephens.
Carter seemed to have a shot at a roster spot after the Ravens waived Anthony Allen, but it appears they'll instead go with Bobby Rainey behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce. Acquired just nine days ago from the Colts, Carter was extremely unimpressive in Thursday's preseason finale against the Rams, ending up with just one yard on eight carries. Sun Dec 16 201211:39Colts declare Week 15 inactives
Colts declared RB Delone Carter, TE Nathan Palmer, S Tom Zbikowski, LB Kavell Conner, C Samson Satele, DE Clifton Geathers, and RT Winston Justice inactive for Week 15 against the Texans.
Whereas the Texans are very healthy for their Week 15 division meeting with the Colts, Indianapolis cannot say the same. The Colts are down two key starting linemen in Satele and Justice. Vick Ballard gets a matchup boost from goal-line vulture Carter's absence, but will have fewer holes to run through.
