Bailey finished 2014 with career-highs in tackles (41) and sacks (five), and he's certainly off to a good start in 2015. He'll look to keep things going in Week 2 when the Chiefs square off with a division rival in the Broncos.

Bailey has somewhat quietly been one of 2014's top breakout players, after recording just 45 tackles (36 solo) and two sacks over the first three years of his career. He has 27 tackles (18 solo) and four sacks this season, and while those aren't great IDP stats, they're excellent for a 3-4 defensive end.

Bailey was quiet against the Chargers last week, but came up with another 1.5 sacks Sunday after doing so in Week 5 against the 49ers as well. He has more sacks through seven games this season than he's had over his first three seasons combined (largely due to extra playing time). If he is able to continue producing, he may keep his starting job heading into next season.

Bailey recorded 1.5 sacks, a tackle for loss, and four tackles (three solo) against the 49ers on Sunday.
Bailey now has 2.5 sacks this season, easily surpassing his totals from any of his past three seasons. While he hasn't recorded a large amount of tackles (nine total, six solo), he is on pace to get upwards of eight sacks this season.

The Chiefs are expected to give second-year DE Allen Bailey an expanded role this season behind LE Tyson Jackson and RE Glenn Dorsey.
With Wallace Gilberry gone, Bailey will be Kansas City's primary nickel end after managing 10 tackles and one sack last season. If Bailey excels in the role, he could be ticketed for a starting job the following season. Dorsey is in a contract year, and Jackson's 2013 base salary is an unmanageable $14.72 million.

Coordinator Romeo Crennel got unexpected results out of his defensive line last year, and he has a new toy in the two-time all-Conference selection out of Miami. Bailey is expected to begin his career as an inside nickel rusher.
