Rodgers has been placed on the Bears' injured reserve list after suffering a fractured arm in Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Rodgers' broken right arm will end his season after just five games and likely result in rookie Jeremy Langford seeing even more snaps behind starter Matt Forte at running back. While Ka'Deem is in the mix as well, Chicago also signed free agent Antone Smith on Monday to replace Rodgers going forward.

Rodgers' (elbow) right arm was "heavily" wrapped and in a sling after Sunday's contest at Kansas City, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Rodgers received his typical allotment of touches in Week 5 -- three carries for three yards -- but the injury places a cloud over his availability going forward. If he's at all hindered next Sunday in Detroit, Jeremy Langford would be in line for a bit more work behind Matt Forte.

Rodgers gained three yards and two carries and failed to reel in his only target in the Bears' Week 4 win over the Raiders.
For the second consecutive week, Rodgers saw more offensive snaps (nine) than fellow backup Jeremy Langford (three), but the minimal usage of both players suggests Matt Forte is still on tap for a heavy workload each time out. Even if Forte goes down with an injury, Rodgers' small stature makes him better suited for change-of-pace duty than an every-down role.

Rodgers carried the ball four times and gained 11 yards in Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Seahawks. He also caught one pass for 10 yards.
Remarkably, Rodgers' receiving total was only 11 yards behind tight end Zach Miller for the team lead, on a day in which the Bears punted on all 10 of their possessions. It's worth noting that Rodgers seemed to move back ahead of Jeremy Langford on the depth chart after seeing fewer snaps a weak earlier, but it's difficult to see either backup running back carve out a notable role behind starter Matt Forte.

Rodgers had two running attempts and gained eight yards in Sunday's 48-23 loss to the Cardinals. He wasn't targeted in the passing game.
After ranking second in running-back snaps for the Bears in the season opener, Rodgers seemed to be bypassed in favor of rookie Jeremy Langford on Sunday. Langford finished the afternoon with six carries to Rodgers' two, and was on the field for the entirety of the Bears' 11-play touchdown drive in the second quarter while starter Matt Forte rested. Forte remains in line to receive the bulk of the snaps at the position, but look for Langford to take on an increased role in the weeks to come, especially if the 0-2 Bears fall out of playoff contention early. Such a development would likely result in Rodgers seeing his snap count plunge even further from here.

Rodgers carried the ball four times for 16 yards in the Bears' Week 1 loss to the Packers. He was targeted once in the passing game.
Despite coach John Fox's stated desire to reduce Matt Forte's workload this season, it was Forte who dominated the carries on Sunday, logging 24 totes compared to Rodgers' four and rookie Jeremy Langford's one. Given that Forte was tearing up the Packers for a 5.9 yard-per-carry average, it's possible that Fox was just riding the hot hand, so Rodgers could see more involvement in weeks where the Bears face stouter run defenses. In the event of a Forte injury, it remains highly likely that the smallish Rodgers would remain confined to a third-down or change-of-pace role, leaving Jeremy Langford as the primary beneficiary of snaps.

Rodgers gained 34 yards on nine carries and caught a two-yard pass in Saturday's preseason win over the Colts.
Jeremy Langford (nine carries, 80 yards, one touchdown) had the most impressive night of the players competing for the backup running-back gig behind Matt Forte, but Rodgers turned in a solid outing, showcasing plenty of shiftiness in the backfield. With Bears head coach John Fox determined to reduce Forte's workload this season, there may be room for both Rodgers and Langford to see a good dosage of snaps this season, though a Forte injury may be necessary before either of those options sees a large enough workload to remain fantasy relevant.

Rodgers had seven carries for 33 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against the Dolphins.
The Bears held out Matt Forte as a precaution, allowing Rodgers to work as the first-team running back. Though he's the favorite to serve as Forte's top backup, Rodgers may have to hold off Jeremy Langford and Ka'Deem Carey, the latter of whom ran for 34 yards and a touchdown on seven carries Thursday night.

Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Bears on Tuesday.
Rodgers could take on some of Matt Forte's third-down work as the Bears look to preserve their franchise running back for at least another season or two. This still isn't a good landing spot for Rodgers to establish value, as Forte led all NFL running backs in snaps in both 2013 and 2014. The Bears also have 2014 fourth-round draft pick Ka'Deem Carey, who could very well head into training camp ahead of Rodgers on the depth chart. Rodgers has never shown much promise in the running game, so it shouldn't be too surprising if he has to settle for the third spot on the depth chart and occasional third-down work.
Tue Mar 31 201511:56Jacquizz Rodgers: Visiting With Bears
Rodgers is visiting the Bears, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
The Bears currently have Ka'Deem Carey and Senorise Perry behind Matt Forte, who led all NFL running backs in snaps in both 2013 and 2014. While the Bears may want to slightly reduce Forte's workload, Chicago wouldn't be a great landing spot for Rodgers' 2015 fantasy prospects. The former Falcon has seen most of his work on passing downs over the last few years, and Forte is one of the top receiving backs in the league.

Rodgers had nine carries for 44 yards and caught 3-of-7 targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Panthers.
Rodgers nearly scored on a meaningless 17-yard run to end the game, but was otherwise quiet, along with the entire Falcons' offense. While Steven Jackson is getting up there in age, Atlanta's backfield is still crowded heading into the 2015 season, as one would assume that rookie Devonta Freeman would see a bigger role.
Fri Dec 26 201414:38questionable) expected to miss Sunday's game against Carolina
With Steven Jackson (quadriceps, questionable) expected to miss Sunday's game against Carolina, Rodgers is expected to start at running back, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.
Rodgers figures to lose a lot of snaps to Devonta Freeman, especially in clear running situations, but Rodgers' experience advantage and advanced skill as a pass catcher could make him Atlanta's preferred plug-and-play option. Since Freeman is a strong bet to steal short-yardage and red-zone carries, Rodgers' primary appeal is in PPR.

Rodgers had a team-high 11 carries for 29 rushing yards and one catch on two targets for three receiving yards during Sunday's win over the Saints.
Starting running back Steven Jackson suffered a quad injury in the second quarter and was unable to return, paving the way for Rodgers' increased workload. However, backup Devonta Freeman actually led the team in rushing yards thanks a 31-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The severity of Jackson's injury is still to be determined, but if he is unable to play in Week 17 against the Panthers, Rodgers could get the start, though Freeman figures to play a role as well.

Rodgers gained 20 yards on three carries, adding one reception for 14 yards on three targets, in Monday's 43-37 loss to the Packers.
Steven Jackson had a 16-50-1 rushing line and 2-26-0 receiving line, while Devonta Freeman had just eight yards on four touches (two receptions). Jackson's still the clear leader of the pack, and Freeman has also been getting more touches than Rodgers in recent weeks.

Rodgers caught three balls for 18 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Rodgers also tallied seven yards on four carries. Although Antone Smith's broken leg means there is one less tailback to compete with, Rodgers is clearly behind Steven Jackson and Devonta Freeman on the depth chart. Rodgers did catch more balls than the other two combined, so his limited value is skewed towards PPR leagues.

Rodgers caught three balls for 8 yards in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
Rodgers also rushed twice for four yards. The Panthers did a good job bottling up the Falcons' rushing attack, limiting Atlanta to 86 yards on 27 carries. Rodgers and his teammates have a better matchup Week12 against the Browns, who rank 31st in run defense.

Rodgers caught three balls for 28 yards in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Rodgers was the most effective running back out of the backfield as a pass catcher, but he only added one rush for two yards on the ground. Antone Smith suffered a neck injury and was removed from the game, so there's a possibility Rodgers could see a few more touches if Smith missed time, but Steven Jackson will continue to get the lion's share of handoffs. Jackson ran for 60 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries against the Lions.

Rodgers rushed twice for nine yards in Sunday's loss to the Ravens.
He also caught one ball for three yards. The Falcons struggled to get the offense going all day, failing to get on the scoreboard until midway though the fourth quarter. Steven Jackson, Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith all registered more touches than Rodgers, which will certainly make it difficult for Rodgers to have much fantasy value.
Mon Oct 13 201414:23Rodgers rushed once for seven yards in Sunday's loss to Bears
Rodgers rushed once for seven yards in Sunday's loss to the Bears.
Rodgers also caught one ball for two yards, but it's clear that the Falcons are more content rolling with Antone Smith as the pass-catching back out of the backfield, as he scored on a reception for the third time in as many games. Smith's ability to produce with limited touches doesn't bode well for Rodgers, who now appears to be third in line for touches.
Mon Oct 6 201416:23Rodgers only tallied 15 total yards in Sunday's loss to Giants
Rodgers only tallied 15 total yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants.
Rodgers gained 10 yards on the ground on two carries and caught one ball for five yards. Rodgers was on the field for 19 snaps, which was more than Devonta Freeman (16) and Antone Smith (11), but Freeman averaged 9.5 yards per carry on four touches, and Smith caught three balls for 83 yards and a touchdown, so they both had a better game than Rodgers.
