Tue Aug 26 201415:34Binns cut by Dolphins on Tuesday
Binns was cut by the Dolphins on Tuesday, the Miami Herald reports.
Binns missed all of last season with a torn ACL and despite recovering in time for the preseason, the wideout couldn't manage to lock-up a roster spot on a Dolphins team with decent depth at receiver.
Wed May 28 201406:39Armon Binns (ACL) active for OTAs Tuesday
Armon Binns (ACL) is participating in OTAs this week.
Binns tore his ACL and MCL last July and spent the entire year on injured reserve. He's squarely on the roster bubble heading into this year's camp, especially after Jarvis Landry was selected in the second round.

Tue Apr 15 201409:13Dolphins 'intrigued' by WR Armon Binns
The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are "intrigued by" WR Armon Binns.
Binns tore his ACL and MCL last summer and missed the entire 2013 season. Prior to the injury, Binns was having a strong offseason and was even pushing Brandon Gibson for slot duties. The 24-year-old goes 6-foot-3 and 211 pounds. Binns will compete with Rishard Matthews for No. 4 receiver duties.

Wed Jul 31 201308:42Armon Binns waived/injured
Dolphins waived/injured WR Armon Binns and WR Jasper Collins.
Binns tore his ACL and MCL during a practice. He'll revert to injured reserve and is now a poor bet to get any play as an exclusive rights free agent after the season. The Dolphins have added receivers Julius Pruitt and Keenan Davis off the street.

Sun Jul 28 201319:38Dolphins lose Armon Binns for the season
Dolphins WR Armon Binns is done for the season after tearing his ACL and MCL early in training camp.
Considered the favorite for No. 4 receiver duties, Binns was all set to be this year's version of the Dolphins' annual pretend-good wideout, following in Legedu Naanee and Roberto Wallace's footsteps. Binns was coming off a solid spring, outplaying second-year WR Rishard Matthews. In May and June, local papers even suggested Binns could push $10-million FA Brandon Gibson for snaps.

Sun Jun 30 201311:16Armon Binns stood out in spring practices
The Miami Herald reports "nobody on offense helped his stock more" this spring than Dolphins WR Armon Binns.
"I don't want to jinx him - I'm usually the kiss of death - but [Binns] is playing faster," said coach Joe Philbin. Claimed off waivers from the Bengals in December, Binns caught six passes for 67 yards in three games with the Dolphins. He's heading into training camp as the No. 4 receiver.

Sun Dec 30 201220:09Armon Binns goes for 40 yards in Week 17
Dolphins WR Armon Binns caught three passes for 40 yards in the team's Week 17 loss to the Patriots.
The Fins liked what they saw out of Binns on the practice field and he didn't embarrass himself in late-season games, but the December waiver acquisition is not the answer for Miami's outside receiver woes. Binns, 23, is due just $480,000 in 2013 base salary. He'll return to compete for a roster spot in camp.

Mon Dec 10 201216:45Dolphins claim WR Armon Binns
Dolphins claimed WR Armon Binns off waivers from the Bengals.
Binns was waived by the Bengals on Saturday. Although Binns went from starting five of the Bengals' first six games to on the street in less than two months, he should get immediate playing time in the Dolphins' unproductive and lead-footed receiver corps. However, he's not a threat to come into any value during the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs. A second-year UDFA, Binns is still only 23 years old.

Sat Dec 8 201212:11Bengals waive Armon Binns
Bengals waive WR Armon Binns.
This is a huge fall for Binns, who opened the season as a starter and served in that role in five of the Bengals' first six games. Since then, he's played just 17 snaps and hasn't caught a pass. Binns has 18 receptions for 210 yards and a touchdown on the season.

Sun Dec 2 201214:57Bengals declare Week 13 inactives
Bengals declared WRs Mohamed Sanu and Armon Binns, CB Jason Allen, S George Iloka, DTs Devon Still and Brandon Thompson, and TE Richard Quinn inactive for Week 13 against the Chargers.
Rookie Marvin Jones -- not Brandon Tate -- is starting in place of Sanu. Andrew Hawkins also returns from a knee injury to play slot receiver.

Sun Nov 4 201211:41Armon Binns not in starting lineup
Although he is active for Week 9 against the Broncos, Armon Binns is not in the starting lineup.
Coming out of the Week 8 bye, Binns is listed as a reserve behind Brandon Tate. We would rather have seen Andrew Hawkins get the starting-lineup promotion, but it appears Tate is now the starting split end opposite A.J. Green. Unfortunately, there will be no fantasy impact here unless Hawkins becomes a starter.

Sun Oct 21 201219:02Bengals declare Week 7 inactives
Bengals declared WR Armon Binns, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, RB Brian Leonard, TE Richard Quinn, CB Jason Allen, LB Dontay Moch, and DT Brandon Thompson inactive for Week 7 against the Steelers.
Binns is inactive with an ankle injury. He'll be replaced by Brandon Tate in the starting lineup; not Andrew Hawkins. Hawkins will remain Cincinnati's situational slot receiver. Cedric Peerman will replace Leonard on passing downs.

Fri Oct 19 201214:43Armon Binns limited, listed questionable
Armon Binns (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Friday, but is listed as questionable for Week 7.
Binns was held out of Thursday's practice. His Friday return suggests Binns is being prepared to play against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. A total fantasy non-factor, Binns is averaging three catches for 35 yards a game.

Thu Oct 18 201217:11Bengals WR Binns held out on Thursday
Bengals WR Armon Binns was held out of Thursday's practice with an ankle injury.
It's a new injury for Binns, who did not appear on Wednesday's injury report. If he sits out versus the Steelers, look for Marvin Jones, Ryan Whalen and Brandon Tate to pick up extra snaps. None of the trio is even remotely a fantasy option.

Sun Oct 7 201217:38Binns reels in four passes in loss to Miami
Armons Binns caught four passes for 41 yards in Week 5 against Miami.
Binns was targeted seven times on the day, but he also lost an important fumble. He's clearly the Bengals' outside receiver opposite of A.J. Green, but slot man Andrew Hawkins is dominating Binns in targets. Binns is not worth a fantasy roster spot.

Sun Sep 23 201218:27Armon Binns shows up big for Bengals
Armon Binns caught three passes for 63 yards with a touchdown in the Bengals' Week 3 win over the Redskins.
Toward the end of the first quarter, the Redskins brought an all-out blitz and left Josh Wilson in one-on-one coverage with Binns. He didn't have a prayer. Binns continues to show reasonable skills as the leader of the Bengals' No. 2 wideout committee, but he's the No. 3 target at best on the totem pole. We can still do better at the WR4 spot.

Thu Sep 13 201212:53Armon Binns moves ahead of Tate
The Bengals' latest depth chart lists Armon Binns as a starter over Brandon Tate.
In Monday's opener, Binns had four catches for 28 yards on five targets while Tate had one catch for three yards on two targets. They are both behind A.J. Green, Jermaine Gresham and slot man Andrew Hawkins on the target totem pole.

Wed Aug 15 201208:29Armon Binns, Tate still neck-and-neck
The Bengals' official site says that if Armon Binns isn't he No. 2 receiver, "then he and Brandon Tate are 2A and 2B."
As middling talents, we wouldn't expect anyone to gain separation in this position battle. Eventually, Mohamed Sanu and maybe Marvin Jones will get in the mix as well. Even quarterback Andy Dalton has already admitted that he expects a rotation at his No. 2 wideout spot.
