Before retiring following the World Series, Posey became the team's career playoff hits leader with 57, and he has also played the most postseason games in franchise history with 58. Back in 2019, he hit a career-low .257 with only seven home runs and a .688 OPS. On top of this award, Posey was named the NL Silver Slugger at catcher for the fifth time and was an All-Star for the seventh time in his illustrious career.
