Patriots waived DL Justin Francis, LB Ja'Gared Davis, OG Josh Kline, CB Justin Green and S Kanorris Davis.

The Davises were undrafted free agents. Francis is quietly one of the biggest surprises of cutdown day after recording three sacks as a rookie in 2012. He does not have practice squad eligibility, but may generate some interest in waivers. Francis can play both defensive tackle and defensive end.
