Tue Jul 22 201416:12Falcons take flier on WR Jeremy Ebert
Falcons signed WR Jeremy Ebert.
A seventh-round journeyman, Ebert caught three passes across six games for the Jaguars last season. If he has any shot at cracking the Falcons' 53-man roster, it's as a special teamer who can man the final wideout spot in a pinch.

Jaguars placed WR Jeremy Ebert on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain, ending his season.
Other than special teams impact, Ebert has shown no indications he should be a part of Jacksonville's long-term rebuilding plan. The club activated DT Jordan Miller and WR Lamaar Thomas from their practice squad.

Jaguars waived WRs Jeremy Ebert and Tobias Palmer, and re-signed G/C Jacques McClendon and QB Ricky Stanzi.
Jacksonville is making this move with Ebert every single week. The good news for him is he's getting to dress on game days. The bad news is he doesn't get claimed by other teams, and his weekly roster spot is quite insecure.

Ebert will contribute on special teams if he's active on Sunday. It's a sign that Mike Brown (questionable, back) is unlikely to play this week. Jaguars agreed to terms with WR Jeremy Ebert, formerly of the Patriots.
The war will be won with former Patriots. Ebert is the third former Pat to arrive in Jacksonville in the past eight days. A 2012 seventh-round pick, Ebert spent his rookie year on the practice squad. Ebert is undersized at 5-foot-10, 194 pounds, but has sub-4.40 wheels. He'll attempt to make the Jags as a slot man/special teamer.

Patriots waived WR Jeremy Ebert.
The 2012 seventh-rounder gets the boot after the Patriots drafted two receivers. Ebert was waived at final cuts last summer before being re-signed in January. Waiving Ebert at this stage of the offseason suggests the Patriots are moving on for good.

Mon Jan 21 201315:10Pats sign WR Ebert, LB Tarpinian
Patriots signed WR Jeremy Ebert and LB Jeff Tarpinian to reserve/future contracts.
A seventh-round pick last spring, Ebert couldn't make it past final cuts in Pats camp. He spent the year on the practice squad. Ebert's chances of cracking the Pats' 2013 roster will improve if Wes Welker is allowed to walk. Tarpinian was briefly on the active roster in 2012.

Fri Aug 31 201219:49Pats waive seventh-round WR Jeremy Ebert
Patriots waived WR Jeremy Ebert.
Ebert couldn't make the roster even though New England also cut veterans Deion Branch, Donte' Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney. Slowed by a hamstring injury early in camp, Ebert made just six catches for 43 yards during the preseason. He's likely ticketed for the practice squad.

Thu Jul 19 201217:55Patriots place WR Ebert on camp/PUP list
Patriots placed seventh-round WR Jeremy Ebert (leg) on the camp/PUP list.
It's New England, so the severity of the injury is unknown. The team's brass likes the former rugby star's potential as a special teams demon, but he's considered a roster long shot. The Pats have a better chance of sneaking him through waivers to the practice squad if he doesn't participate in training camp or preseason action.

Sat Jun 23 201209:41Ebert with just 15 percent chance of spot?
ESPN Boston gives seventh-round WR Jeremy Ebert a 15 percent chance of making the Patriots' 53-man roster.
It's no secret New England's receiver corps is perhaps the most crowded in the league, and Ebert wasn't allowed to participate in OTAs because he had yet to graduate. He was also "slowed" in minicamp by a leg injury. Ebert could flip his poor odds with a strong preseason, but he's likely destined for the practice squad.

Mon Jun 18 201209:02Jeremy Ebert likely headed for practice squad
The Boston Herald expects Patriots seventh-round WR Jeremy Ebert to begin the year on the practice squad.
Unless a wave of injures befall the Pats' receiver corps, Ebert has almost no chance of locking down a roster spot. His most direct competition will be backup slot receiver Julian Edelman, but Edelman's special teams prowess and ability to play cornerback in a pinch should give him a significant edge.
