Dennard originally hurt his shoulder against the Rams in Week 8. He hardly missed any time after that, but ended up needing a repair and sat out the entire offseason program. Dennard should be ready to go as a third or fourth corner this when training camp rolls around.

Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard will report to a Nebraska jail to serve his 60-day sentence for felony assault and violating his probation.
Dennard's initial sentence was only 30 days, but 30 more were added after he violated his probation. He was also given 100 more hours of community service and an extra year of probation. Dennard could be released in 38 days with good behavior. By starting the sentence now, it is possible he will miss little if any of the Pats offseason program. Dennard was not spectacular in 2013 but projects as a starting cornerback for New England in 2014.

Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard had 30 days added to his original 30-day jail sentence Thursday as a result of violating his probation.
Dennard violated his probation, which was originally part of his sentence for a felony assualt conviction earlier this year. Dennard also must perform an additional 100 hours of community service on top of the 100 he already had, had his probation extended by one year, and must refrain from drinking alcohol. Dennard will begin serving his jail time on March 1, and his sentence can be reduced to 38 days due to good behavior. Judge Stephanie Stacy warned Dennard by saying, "I want you to know this is your last chance."

According to the NFL Network, Dennard had a small meniscus procedure over the weekend. It's a concern for the Patriots as they head into a matchup with Peyton Manning and the Broncos this week. Their other starting corner, Aqib Talib, appeared to aggravate his hip injury in the loss at Carolina Monday night.

The Boston Herald reports Patriots CB Alfonzo Dennard (knee) is expected to miss Week 12, and is without a timetable for a return.
It's bad news for a Patriots team that will be hosting Peyton Manning and the Broncos on Sunday, and also dealing with injuries to Aqib Talib (hip) and Kyle Arrington (groin). Dennard injured his knee in practice last week, but the Pats have predictably provided few details. He's likely dealing with an MCL issue of some sort.
