Fri Apr 17 201512:26Danny Trevathan: (Knee) Says He's 100 Percent Healthy
Trevathan (knee) said he is 100 percent healthy, the Broncos' official website reports.
Trevathan suffered a knee fracture during training camp, and while he returned for Week 5, he only played three games before re-injuring his knee. He recently admitted that he probably rushed back from the injury, but he seems to be back at full health for team-organized workouts. Assuming no setbacks, the 25-year-old Trevathan should bounce back to his 2013 breakout form, making him an intriguing target in all IDP formats. He finished the 2013 season with 129 tackles (88 solo), four forced fumbles, three interceptions, two sacks, a fumble recovery and 10 passes defensed.

Trevathan (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
This was merely a formality, as it was announced Monday that Trevathan would miss the rest of the season with a dislocated left kneecap. The 24-year-old originally hurt his left knee back in mid-October, and he re-injured the knee Sunday in the second half of the Broncos' 22-10 victory over San Diego. Trevathan (knee) will be activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday's game against San Diego, ESPN.com reports.
The Broncos might ease back their top linebacker since Brandon Marshall has performed well as the new lead linebacker while Trevathan missed time due to injury, but Trevathan should reestablish himself as a viable linebacker IDP in the near future. He had 129 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions in 2013.

Trevathan's MRI on Monday revealed a crack in the bone just above his left knee, The Denver Post reports.
Trevathan is consequently expected to miss multiple games. The linebacker was sidelined for the first three weeks of this season after suffering a bone fracture below the same knee in August. Fortunately, Sunday's fracture above Trevathan's left knee is not thought to be as serious. However, considering the first incident kept Trevathan sidelined for a total of seven weeks, it appears usual reserves Brandon Marshall and rookie Corey Nelson will be seeing expanded playing time at weakside linebacker until further notice.

Trevathan will have an MRI on his left knee Monday after sustaining an injury Sunday against the Jets, the Denver Post reports.
Trevathan, the Broncos' leader in tackles last season, missed the first three games of this season after suffering an injury to the same knee during training camp. He was reportedly seen walking without a limp after Sunday's game, giving the team some hope that the new issue is not a serious one. If Trevathan has to miss any time, Brandon Marshall is expected to move into the open slot, with rookie Corey Nelson, who filled in against the Jets, also getting some added snaps.

Trevathan's injury was to his left knee, the same one he fractured in mid-August and forced him to miss the first month of the season. No word yet on whether this injury is as serious, or if it is related to the previous ailment, but the Broncos will be without him at least for the rest of this contest.

Trevathan, who led the Broncos with 129 tackles last season, fractured his knee in mid-August during an intra-squad tussle, but has finally recovered enough to grab his starting job back from Brandon Marshall. He could also have a decent tackle total in Week 6 against the Jets, who prefer to run the ball than trust the arm of quarterback Geno Smith.

Tue Aug 12 201416:16Danny Trevathan: Suffers Fracture in Knee
Trevathan, who suffered a knee injury during practice Tuesday, told ESPN's Josina Anderson that he has a fracture in his knee, but his ACL and MCL are fine, and he is expected to be out for up to eight weeks.
This is a big blow to the Broncos, as Trevathan led the squad with 129 tackles (88 solo) last season, while also posting four forced fumbles, three interceptions and two sacks. Trevathan reportedly told Anderson that he will try to return in four to six weeks, although if it does turn out to be eight, he could be a candidate for the regular season PUP list, which would keep him out for the first six games.

Trevathan was carted off during Tuesday's practice after suffering a left leg injury, the Denver Post reports.
Trevathan went down during 11-on-11 drills and reportedly could not put any weight on his left leg after being injured. At the moment, it's unclear whether Trevathan's injury is to his knee or not. Nonetheless, potentially losing the third-year linebacker represents a significant blow to the Broncos' defense. The 24-year-old registered a team-high 129 tackles (88 solo), four forced fumbles, three interceptions, and two sacks during a breakout 2013 campaign. Trevathan's development into one of Denver's defensive leaders will leave the team hoping his injury isn't serious, despite early reports fearing otherwise.
Fri May 16 201415:05Trevathan posted 10th-most tackles among LBs
Broncos WLB Danny Trevathan finished tenth among linebackers with 129 total tackles last season.
A surprise IDP breakout, Trevathan was Denver's preferred every-down 'backer last season. With Wesley Woodyard now in Tennessee and an extremely thin depth chart, we like Trevathan to continue in that role this season. He's a solid LB2 for those in IDP circles.

Trevathan has been a stud against the run, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 1 overall 4-3 outside linebacker versus the run. We'll have an update on Trevathan later. Paris Lenon is likely his backup.
