Dolphins waive LB Josh Kaddu.
The Miami Herald reported in April that the Dolphins had "high hopes" for the 2012 fifth-rounder, but they apparently soured, as Kaddu had yet to play a snap on defense. He could just be a victim of the numbers game along Miami's stout defensive line. It's possible he'll be stashed on the practice squad.

The Dolphins have "high hopes" for second-year LB Josh Kaddu as a pass-rush specialist.
Kaddu played only 11 defensive snaps as a rookie, but the fifth-rounder out of Oregon was praised as a practice player by coach Joe Philbin. Mon Dec 31 201217:11Philbin excited about LB Kaddu for 2013
Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin named fifth-round rookie LB Josh Kaddu as one player that excites him the most for 2013.
An odd pick. Kaddu played just 11 defensive snaps for Miami in his rookie season and rarely saw the field. However, when he was selected out of Oregon with the No. 155 overall pick, draftniks noted his athleticism and sideline-to-sideline ability as an outside linebacker. All three of the Dolphins' starting linebackers are under contract for next season, though.

Dolphins promoted LB Josh Kaddu from their practice squad to the active roster.
Kaddu was selected in the fifth round by the Dolphins this season. He's raw, but certainly has the physical tools at an athletic 6'3/249. Kaddu figures to focus on special teams if he dresses against the Rams Sunday.

Dolphins waived LB Josh Kaddu.
A fifth-round pick, Kaddu looks the part at 6-foot-3, 239 pounds, but was extremely raw coming out of Oregon. The Dolphins will likely look to stash him on the practice squad.
