Garret Anderson plated Matt Kemp with a single in the 14th inning as the Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks 1-0 in extra innings for a second straight day Wednesday. |
The Dodgers have pitched 24 scoreless innings against Arizona over the last 24 hours, and the reeling Diamondbacks have now lost 10 straight. Anderson's single to center barely dropped in front of a diving Chris Young, giving him his first hit in his last 11 at-bats. He's hitting just .157 in 83 at-bats this season. |
