Head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Givens will be included in the Ravens' game plan for the team's Week 5 matchup with the Browns, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Harbaugh did not say exactly how or how much Givens will be involved, but it appears the Ravens will be counting on him in the passing game right off the bat. With Steve Smith (back) and Breshad Perriman (knee) out for Week 5, Givens figures to be either No. 3 or No. 4 on the wide receiver depth chart in his team debut.

Givens was traded to the Ravens on Saturday for a conditional draft pick.

Givens clearly wasn't going to see much production with the Rams considering he saw only a single target in the first three games of the season, so his outlook should be much better in Baltimore. With Steve Smith dealing with a back injury, Michael Campanaro (back) out for the season, and first-round draft pick Breshad Perriman (knee) needing surgery, Givens will compete with Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown for targets from Joe Flacco.

Givens did have the best rush attempt for the Rams in Sunday's 12-6 loss to Pittsburgh with 24 yards, but was not targeted once.

That's two straight games in which Givens has not been targeted, as he has all but fallen out of the wideout rotation. The Rams did utilize his speed with a rush attempt, but with as many skill players as St. Louis uses, Givens is only going to get one or two chances a game to gain yardage.

Givens was not targeted once in Sunday's 34-31 overtime victory against Seattle.

Givens had the best preseason of any of the Rams' wideouts, and with Brian Quick (shoulder) out, one would have thought Givens might get a couple looks. It appears Givens' 2014 season was more of an indicator of his productivity than the preseason, as he failed to get to 20 catches or 200 yards last year.

Givens caught two passes for 63 yards and a touchdown to go with 5 rushing yards in a 24-14 preseason loss to the Colts on Saturday.

Givens has been the Rams' most effective wideout this preseason, showing off his speed with a pair of touchdowns. Nick Foles has a better arm than the array of backups the Rams have used the past two seasons, so perhaps Givens will have a bigger role in the offense. There is a big difference between success in the preseason and the regular season, however, so temper your expectations for a player that only caught 11 balls for 159 yards in 2014.

Givens caught one of four targets for an 80-yard touchdown in Sunday's preseason game against the Titans.

Givens showed off his impressive speed in the third quarter, burning a Tennessee defender for a long touchdown on a post route. Despite his strong showing through the first two preseason games, Givens will likely open the season as the Rams' No. 5 wide receiver, and that's assuming he makes the team.

Givens led the Rams with four catches for 36 yards in an 18-3 preseason loss to the Raiders on Friday.

Givens looked solid on Friday, but will have more competition for targets when the regular season rolls around. He's going to likely be the fourth wideout on the depth chart behind Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt and Brian Quick, and may fall behind Stedman Bailey as well.

Givens tallied 11 catches for 159 yards and a touchdown in 2014.

Givens majorly regressed this season, as he averaged 38 receptions and more than 600 yards his first two years in the league. He'll likely start next season the No. 3 or 4 option in St. Louis, and his upside is limited.

Givens is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Givens gets the call ahead of Austin Pettis, who has been battling an ankle issue of late but was officially listed as probable on Friday's injury report. Givens has not played since Week 3 against the Cowboys, and he has just four catches on eight targets for 50 yards in three games this season.

Givens is inactive for Monday's game against the 49ers, csnbayarea.com reports.

Inactive for the second straight game, Givens is clearly a break or two away from resurfacing on the fantasy radar.

Givens is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

While Givens hasn't been particularly productive this season (four catches on eight targets for 50 yards in three games), his inactive status is still a bit of a surprise. With Givens out, the Rams will go with Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt, Brian Quick, Austin Pettis and Stedman Bailey as their wideouts.

Givens registered one reception for 15 yards Sunday in a 19-17 win over Tampa Bay.

Givens is speedy, but is down fairly far on the depth chart and is the fifth or sixth option with tight ends in play. He has three receptions for 45 yards in two games.

Givens caught a pair of passes for 30 yards in Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Vikings.

Givens showed his big play ability with a 27-yard reception, but didn't do much outside of that. He's going to be dependent on the big play, and with Sam Bradford and possibly Shaun Hill out next week, that option may not be there much.

Givens caught a 75-yard touchdown along with another 19-yard reception in a 33-14 preseason win over the Browns on Saturday.

Givens has dropped on the depth chart over the offseason and camp but showed that he can be a deep threat in Saturday's win. He has the speed to be a solid wideout, but with so many players ahead of him, doesn't have much fantasy prospects.

Givens has had a quiet training camp and is practicing with the second-teamers, St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Givens is a fast downfield threat, but hasn't connected with Sam Bradford and hasn't done much to stand out this offseason either. He will start the season as the third or fourth wideout option and may drop even further when Stedman Bailey returns.

Chris Givens said a nagging ankle injury bothered him for most of last season.

Rams GM Les Snead said he doesn't believe the team needs a No. 1 receiver.

"The answer is really 'no' on that," Snead said. "I think our receivers right now, I truly believe as they progress and the oldest guy just finished his third year, we cannot have another receiver around here and we're going to be a good football team." Brian Quick is shaping up as a bust. No matter what Snead says, we expect St. Louis to have its eyes on Clemson's Sammy Watkins and Texas A&M's Mike Evans in the first round of May's draft.

Chris Givens was held without a catch in St. Louis' Week 17 loss to Seattle.

He lost four yards on his lone offensive touch, a rushing attempt. Givens looked primed for a second-year breakout during an eye-catching preseason, but flopped when the real games began, and things only got worse when Sam Bradford tore his ACL, paving the way for Kellen Clemens at quarterback. Givens can run like the wind, but isn't a physical threat at the first and second levels and was obviously stretched as the Rams' No. 1 wide receiver this year. He actually caught fewer passes as a sophomore than Givens did as a rookie, finishing with a 34-569-0 line as a 16-game starter. Givens will be a decent bounce-back WR4/5 target in 2014 fantasy drafts.

This would be the same Chris Givens who was spotted talking trash to Darrelle Revis before the game. Of course, by Givens' recent standards, it was a monster afternoon. Givens won't be on the daily-league radar in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Due a $3 million roster bonus in March, Cook's $3 million 2014 salary is fully guaranteed.
