Marshall (foot) had seven tackles and a sack Sunday against the Ravens.
Marshall already has half the number of sacks that he did last season, and he's right on pace to match last season's total of 112 tackles. Marshall will continue to be an important piece of the Broncos' defense, though his IDP upside lands firmly in tackles and not sacks.

Marshall (foot) was a full participant in practice this week and is considered probable for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Marshall underwent surgery on his right foot this offseason, and although he expects to experience some discomfort stemming from that procedure at times this season, Marshall is still expected to be full-go for Sunday's Week 1 contest. Alongside fellow inside linebacker Danny Trevathan, Marshall's career-best 113 tackles last season make him an intriguing IDP option heading into what will be his fourth professional season.
Tue Aug 18 201514:16Marshall (foot) logged full practice Tuesday
Marshall (foot) logged a full practice Tuesday, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports.
Marshall expects the foot to bother him intermittently throughout the season, but he doesn't anticipate that it will keep him out of games. The Broncos may have two viable IDP options at inside linebacker, with both Marshall and Danny Trevathan more than capable of handling three-down roles. Most 3-4 teams only provide one viable option at the position, but the Ravens were a notable exception last season, allowing both Daryl Smith and C.J. Mosley to play nearly every snap.
Thu Jun 18 201516:54Marshall (foot) expected to begin running next week
Marshall (foot) is expected to begin running next week, the Broncos' official site reports. Moreover, Marshall noted that he "should be able to do some drills at the start of training camp."
Marshall, who is bouncing back from offseason surgery to address the mid-foot sprain that he suffered last December, acknowledged that his foot will probably bother him "a little bit throughout the whole year," but also noted that it's not an issue that will keep him off the field once the season starts. The linebacker led the Broncos with 113 tackles last season in 14 regular season contests and appears destined to retain IDP utility, assuming he adjusts well the the team's move to a 3-4 defense.
Fri Apr 17 201513:29Brandon Marshall: Recovering From Foot Surgery
Marshall had surgery on his foot in March, but he should still be ready for training camp, Vic Lombardi of CBS Denver reports.
Marshall missed the final two games of the 2014 regular season with a sprain in the Lisfranc area of his right foot. He was able to return for a playoff loss to the Colts, but the injury was apparently serious enough to require surgery. IDP leaguers will want to keep an eye on the Denver linebacking corps, as Danny Trevathan (knee) is also looking to bounce back from an injury. Trevathan had a tremendous breakout season in 2013, while Marshall did the same in 2014. If both guys are healthy to work alongside Von Miller, the Broncos will have arguably the league's best collection of linebacker talent.

Marshall (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's playoff game against the Colts.
It's possible that the Broncos could ease Marshall (the team's leading tackler, who has not played since Dec. 14) back into action on Sunday, and in such a scenario, Todd Davis would be on hand to spell him at middle linebacker.

Marshall (foot) remains a game-time decision for Sunday's playoff game against the Colts, NFL.com reports.
Marshall, who is officially listed as questionable for the contest with a foot sprain, indicated that if it were up to him he'd be out there on Sunday, but the report suggests that the Broncos coaches aren't quite as optimistic about the linebacker's availability as he is. Either way, it appears as though a call on that front won't arrive until pre-game warmups in advance of Sunday's 4:40 ET kickoff.

Marshall (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, USA Today's Lindsay Jones reports.
Marshall has been limited in practice this week, and he seems to be truly questionable for Sunday's contest. If Marshall is unable to go, Todd Davis will likely handle an every-down role, with a number of other players potentially getting extra snaps.
Wed Jan 7 201516:40Marshall (foot) limited at Wednesday's practice
Marshall (foot) was limited at Wednesday's practice, the Broncos' official site reports.
It was the second consecutive day of practice for Marshall, who is bouncing back from a sprained foot that he suffered back on Dec. 14. Assuming no setbacks as the week progresses, the linebacker would appear to have a solid chance of suiting up Sunday against the Colts.

Marshall will be sidelined for one-to-two weeks after suffering a sprain in the Lisfranc area of his right foot Sunday against the Chargers, the Denver Post reports.
The Broncos were hit particularly hard in Sunday's game, as leading-tackler Danny Trevathan suffered a dislocated left kneecap and is out for the season. With Nate Irving already out for the year, the Broncos will go with Lamin Barrow, Todd Davis and Corey Nelson to help fill the voids. Given the time frame, Marshall is likely done for the regular season, but could be back for the playoffs, as the Broncos can secure a first-round bye if they win out.

Marshall is dealing with a mid-foot sprain, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Marshall's status for next Monday's game against the Bengals is thus cloudy, so those who had been relying on the linebacker (who has recorded 113 tackles to date) in IDP formats are advised to start looking into potential replacements for him in Week 16.

Marshall picked up seven tackles during Sunday's 31-17 win over the Jets.
With Danny Trevathan picking up a new knee injury Sunday, it's likely that Marshall will regain his spot in the starting lineup, which he had for the first three games of the season in place of Trevathan. Marshall led the team in tackles over that span and could be a decent source of tackles in the coming weeks against the 49ers and Chargers, respectively.
