Hanna (knee) is active for the Cowboys' Week 3 matchup with the Falcons.

Hanna was able to get in a full practice Friday, demonstrating that the knee injury wouldn't be significant enough to hamper his Sunday. He'll slot in as the third tight end on the Dallas depth chart behind Jason Witten and Gavin Escobar.

Hanna has returned to the field quickly after getting his knee scoped Saturday, but it's unclear if he'll recover in time for this Sunday's contest against the Falcons. Even so, he wasn't targeted in Week 1 and likely wouldn't usurp Jason Witten, despite the veteran's sprained ankles and knee.

Hanna is likely to make Dallas' roster, but only as insurance at tight end, and as a special teamer. Despite big-time Combine measurables coming out of Oklahoma two years ago, Hanna isn't on the fantasy radar, even in Dynasty leagues.
