Mon Sep 16 201317:21Jags claim CB Jamell Fleming off waivers
Jaguars claimed CB Jamell Fleming off waivers from the Cardinals.
The 2012 third-round pick got crowded out of new GM Rod Graves' secondary in Arizona, but was known as a press corner coming out of Oklahoma, and is a fit for Gus Bradley's scheme. With the Jags low on healthy corners, Fleming is likely being claimed as more than a rental, and could see immediate playing time.

Cardinals released CB Jamell Fleming.
A 2012 third-round pick, Fleming was a holdover from former GM Rod Graves and entered the season no higher than the Cardinals' No. 5 corner. He started three games last year and could draw some interest on waivers. The Bills and Jets are potential landing spots.

Fri May 3 201316:47Jamell Fleming might not make Cards 53
The Cardinals' website hints 2012 third-round pick Jamell Fleming isn't a lock for a 2013 roster spot.
Cornerback is suddenly crowded in Arizona with Patrick Peterson, Jerraud Powers, Antoine Cason, and Javier Arenas all ahead of old-regime holdover Fleming, and rookie FS Tyrann Mathieu also capable of playing or perhaps even starting at slot corner. Fleming was a major disappointment as a rookie, and the track record of ex-Oklahoma Sooner defensive backs has been unkind in the NFL.

Sat Oct 27 201220:46Fleming (back) listed as questionable for MNF
Cardinals CB Jamell Fleming (back) is listed as questionable for Monday's night game against the 49ers.
Fleming practiced on a limited basis Saturday, but there's been no indication that he won't be available. With Greg Toler (doubtful, hamstring) not expected to play, the Cardinals will enter Monday with just four active corners on their roster. Michael Adams (hamstring) practiced fully this week and is listed as probable.
