Quick made his season debut Sunday against the Packers, hauling in just one of his three targets for 10 yards.
The fourth-year wideout was limited in his first game action since Week 7 of last season, but he was not visibly hampered by his surgically-repaired shoulder. Quick, who led the Rams in most receiving categories before he was injured last season, should provide quarterback Nick Foles with a bigger target that the receiving corps lacked through the first part of the season. Quick will use the upcoming bye week to reach closer to full health, and the Rams will then host the Browns in Week 7.

Quick was held without a target in Sunday's 24-22 win against Arizona.
Quick's start to the season has been baffling, to say the least. It seemed like Quick should have been the No. 1 wideout on the Rams coming into the season, and he has only been active once despite being fully healthy and played in only six plays Sunday. Those that drafted him have almost certainly dropped him by now, and there's little reason to hope that things will get better at this point.

Quick will be active for the first time this season for Sunday's game in Arizona, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
It's still not entirely clear why Quick was held out for the first three weeks, as the Rams said multiple times that he made a full recovery from last year's career-threatening shoulder surgery. Quick has the highest ceiling of any member of the unimpressive St. Louis receiving corps, but it won't be at all surprising if he works in a limited role off the bench this week. Though his career has otherwise been unimpressive, Quick caught 21 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns through the first four weeks of last season. He has excellent size but middling speed, yet showed an impressive ability to sneak behind defenses. Of course, he then disappeared from Weeks 5-7, even before suffering the severe shoulder.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said there is a chance Quick will be active for Week 4 against the Cardinals, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner.
Fisher has repeatedly insisted that Quick will have a role this season, but the coach's comments haven't provided much concrete information. It's unclear if Quick will make his first appearance of the season in Week 4, and even if he does, he may play limited snaps in a tough matchup.

Quick is inactive Sunday against the Steelers, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner.
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher noted Friday that Quick is in much better shape than he was a few weeks ago, but he's apparently still not fit enough for active status. The Rams have a number of available receiving options, so the absence of Quick doesn't necessarily open up lots of targets for one or two players.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said Quick is in much better shape than he was a few weeks ago, according to ESPN.com.
The Rams seemingly expect Quick to contribute this season, but it's still not clear if he'll be active for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Quick was listed as a healthy scratch for the first two games, with both him and the Rams suggesting that he's healthy but not quite back to full strength. Even if he's held out for another game or two, Quick has the highest season-long ceiling of any St. Louis wideout.
Sun Sep 20 201511:38Quick inactive Sunday against Texans
Quick is inactive Sunday against the Texans, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com.
Despite being considered fully healthy after recovering from a very serious shoulder injury and playing a few times in the preseason, Quick remains on the sidelines. His absence doesn't necessarily improve the fantasy stock of a specific player, as Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Chris Givens are all competing for targets, not to mention tight ends Jared Cook and Lance Kendricks, plus running backs Benny Cunningham and Tre Mason.
Fri Sep 18 201520:45Quick healthy for while
Quick has been healthy for a while, and his inactive status in Week 1 was attributed to a "numbers issue", Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Sun Sep 13 201511:54Brian Quick: Inactive Sunday
Quick is listed as inactive Sunday against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Quick entered training camp in the latter stages of surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, yet still made appearances in the Rams' final two preseason games. Although an injury hasn't been cited for his absence in the regular season opener, the Rams will rely upon Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, and Stedman Bailey to sustain the passing attack in Week 1.

Quick (shoulder) was not targeted in Saturday's preseason game against the Colts.
Quick only recently returned to practice and didn't see much of the field in Saturday's game. He's the closest thing the Rams have to a potential No. 1 wide receiver, but there's no guarantee he'll take on a full complement of snaps to start the season, and his 2014 "breakout" could easily be written off as a four-week blip. Touches will likely be spread around in the St. Louis offense.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirmed after Tuesday's practice that Quick (shoulder) would play in Sunday's exhibition versus the Colts, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Quick returned to full practice Tuesday after being limited to no-contact work through most of camp, and it looks like he's now fully recovered from the injury. If Quick's shoulder indeed checks out healthy during the remainder of the preseason schedule, he could open the season as the Rams' No. 3 wideout.

Quick (shoulder) is likely to play in Sunday's preseason game against Indianapolis, ESPN.com's Brian Wagoner reports.
Quick has been practicing fully, but hasn't seen much contact yet. Rams fans will be holding their breath during his first time being tackled, but it's a good sign that Week 1 won't be his first time receiving game time.

Quick (shoulder) did not play in Friday's preseason opener against the Raiders.
Quick has participated in most of training camp and is still expected to play this preseason. He and Kenny Britt will likely be the Week 1 starters, but Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey are also vying for roles in the offense.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said on Tuesday that he is expecting Quick (shoulder) to play in the preseason and "be productive."
Initial reports stated that Quick would be taking it slow to start training camp, as he is coming back from a potentially career-ending injury, but now there is much more optimism in Rams' camp regarding the wideout's status. Last season, Quick recorded 375 yards on 25 receptions and three touchdowns before the injury cut his season short after just seven games, and there is now reason to believe he will be ready and healthy for the start of the season, barring any setbacks.
Sun Aug 2 201518:57Quick (shoulder) taking part in training camp but taking it slow
Quick (shoulder) is taking part in training camp but taking it slow, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Quick is coming back from a potentially career-ending injury, so the Rams will take their time with their standout receiver. That being said, all signs point to him being ready for the season in week one.
Thu Jul 30 201515:41As training camp approaches
As training camp approaches, Quick is considered ready to go following offseason shoulder surgery, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
That said, it's uncertain how much the wideout will be limited at the onset of training camp, with coach Jeff Fisher noting "I don't know if (Quick's) gonna play early in the preseason, but he'll play." In any case, in the absence of any setbacks, Quick figures to re-emerge as a starter at wideout for the Rams, along with Kenny Britt, which would probably set the stage for Tavon Austin to work in a slot role.

Quick (shoulder) continues to work out at OTAs and could be ready for training camp, ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner reports.
Quick keeps making progress faster than expected, as coach Jeff Fisher has been hesitant to put a timetable on Quick's return but is happy with how his rehab has gone. The wideout appears to be on his way to being fully healthy by the preseason barring any major setbacks.
Thu Jun 4 201518:51Quick (shoulder) limited participant in Thursday's OTA
Quick (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's OTA, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Due to his continued recovery from a torn rotator cuff and separated left shoulder, Quick was contained to routes without defenders. As the offseason continues, expect his activity level to increase, with an aim for full participation once training camp commences in order to gain a rapport with new signal caller Nick Foles.

Coach Jeff Fisher relayed Tuesday that Quick (shoulder) continues to progress well in his rehab following shoulder surgery, foxsports.com reports. "I saw Brian this morning, and he's very, very encouraged," Fisher noted Tuesday. "From a timing standpoint, it's camp, it's OTAs potentially, with protection, but I don't think there's gonna be an issue with him missing -- at this point -- with him missing much time in camp."
Quick's 2014 season ended last October when he suffered a torn rotator cuff and separated shoulder that required surgery. Prior to sustaining the injury, Quick had emerged a key weapon in the Rams' passing attack, recording 25 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. Once he's back at (or close to) 100 percent, Quick will look to gain chemistry with new QB Nick Foles, with an eye toward re-establishing his role in the team's offense.

Quick is progressing in his recovery from the torn rotator cuff and separated shoulder that he suffered back in October, ESPN.com reports. "He's coming [along]," coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday. "Making progress. It was a very, very difficult early rehab process. It was an extensive, extensive injury. He's starting to see the light now. He's doing good. He's worked hard."
With that in mind, it's unclear if Quick will be ready in time for training camp in July. "There will be some question marks there," Fisher acknowledged. "He may be. I can't say. The next three or four months are going to be important." Prior to sustaining his injury, Quick had recorded 25 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns in seven games for the Rams, and once he is up to speed this summer the fourth-year wideout will look to reclaim a key role in the team's 2015 passing attack, which will be helmed by newcomer Nick Foles.
