Tannehill completed 19 of 44 passes for 198 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday against the Jets in London.
The Jets put heavy pressure on Tannehill all game long, sacking him three times for a loss of 31 yards. He connected with eight different receivers, with wideout Kenny Stills leading the way with five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. Tannehill has four touchdown passes in his last two games, but he's also been picked off five times and has completed only 48.4 percent of his pass attempts. He is also not rushing the ball nearly as much as last season, as he's now racked up just 27 yards in four games. Fantasy owners will get a break from his struggles, as the Dolphins are off in Week 5 before facing the Titans in Week 6.

Tannehill (ankle) struggled in Sunday's blowout loss to the Bills, completing 26-of-49 passes for 297 yards, with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He had just one carry, losing a yard.
Tannehill entered Week 3 with a minor ankle injury, but it didn't appear to be a factor. He missed a lot of throws, however, and generally struggled to move the ball, as the Dolphins trailed 27-0 at halftime. One of his interceptions came on a drop by Jarvis Landry, but the other two were shaky throws, including an ill-advised pass that was taken back for a 43-yard touchdown late in the first half. After not looking great in the season opener at Washington, Tannehill seemed to play better last week at Jacksonville, but he had issues Sunday. He's got quite a few weapons at his disposal, including Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills, but the emergence of Rishard Matthews (16 catches for 262 yards and three touchdowns through three games) has been a pleasant surprise, making Tannehill's poor play a surprise. It won't get easier for the veteran QB in Week 4, as he'll face a formidable Jets' defense.
Fri Sep 25 201517:53Tannehill (ankle) listed as being limited in practice Friday
Tannehill (ankle) was listed as being limited in practice Friday, reports Dolphins web site.
There has been no report of a setback in regards to Tannehill's ankle so the Dolphins could've just been taking it easy with their franchise QB. The bad news is that Tannehill will probably be without left tackle Brendan Albert and if he is at all immobile in the pocket Sunday, an angry Buffalo defense could make life quite miserable for him and the Dolphins offense.
Wed Sep 23 201516:31Tannehill (ankle) practiced fully on Wednesday
Tannehill (ankle) practiced fully on Wednesday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Tannehill's full practice participation Wednesday confirms that he is on track to suit up Sunday against the Bills, in the absence of any setbacks at the week continues.
Wed Sep 23 201514:52Tannehill (ankle) practiced Wednesday
Tannehill (ankle) practiced Wednesday, the Palm Beach Post reports.
We'll have to see if Tannehill is listed as a full participant or a limited one, but his presence on the field Wednesday supports the notion that he will be fine for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Sun Sep 20 201520:19Ryan Tannehill: (Ankle/Foot) Says He'll Be Fine
Tannehill injured his right ankle during Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, but he said afterward that he will be alright, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
According to Armando Salguero, Tanehill sported a noticeable limp after the game, despite playing every snap. He'll likely show up on the Week 3 injury report, but it will be surprising if he's unavailable against the Bills.

Tannehill completed 30-of-44 pass attempts for 359 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-20 loss at Jacksonville.
Tannehill looked more comfortable Sunday than Week 1, when he was held in check at Washington, routinely hooking up with Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry. He did a great job spreading things around too though, completing at least one pass to nine different players. On a negative note, the Dolphins lost starting RB Lamar Miller to an ankle injury in the second half, although if Miller was forced to miss an extended period of time, Tannehill might be forced to air it out more. In Week 3, Tannehill will make his first home start of the season, taking on the Bills, who gave up 466 yards and three touchdowns to Tom Brady on Sunday.

Tannehill completed 22-of-34 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game against the Redskins. He also carried the ball three times for just seven yards in the 17-10 victory.
Although he was turnover-free on the day, fantasy owners will have to feel a bit disappointed in Tannehill's meager output against the team that finished 32nd in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks last season. The Dolphins still figure to be one of the more pass-happy teams in the league, and Tannehill's running ability combined with his improved cast of weapons should result in brighter performances down the road. Miami will face another cushy matchup in Week 2 when they head north to take on the Jaguars.

Tannehill completed 15 of 19 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons.
Although Tannehill put together an impressive preseason with his improved supporting cast, it isn't all good news for the Miami offense, as LT Branden Albert (knee) is in danger of missing the first few games of the regular season, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports. Furthermore, C Mike Pouncey suffered a knee injury of unknown severity during Saturday's game, according to ESPN's James Walker. Tannehill may be accustomed to playing behind a poor offensive line, but the situation is still worth keeping an eye on. The Dolphins hope that improved blocking will allow Tannehill to connect on more deep passes this season.

Tannehill completed 12 of 15 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Panthers.
Following a strong performance in Miami's first preseason game, Tannehill led the first-team offense to two touchdown on three drives Saturday night, capping off his last series with an 11-yard scoring pass to RB Damien Williams. Even if first-round draft pick DeVante Parker (foot) isn't ready by Week 1, Tannehill should have the best supporting cast he's ever played with.
Thu Jul 30 201521:18Tannehill had trouble with deep ball during practice Thursday
Tannehill had trouble with the deep ball during practice Thursday, according to the Miami Herald.
In all fairness, this was just one of the first few practices for the team but it's hard to forget that the main bugaboo for Tannehill is his touch or lack there of on the deep ball. Some believe Tannehill is ready to take the next step in his career to being a top quarterback in the league but if defenses don't have to respect his deep ball, it's hard to see that happening.

Tannehill signed a contract extension with the Dolphins through the 2020 season on Monday.
Tannehill is coming off a career-high 4,045 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions last season, making him the sort of ascending talent the Dolphins feel comfortable locking down as their quarterback long-term. Additionally, Tannehill will have new offensive weapons DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and Jordan Cameron surrounding him this season, offering further reason to like Tannehill's rising fantasy value heading into the upcoming campaign.

The Dolphins have reportedly exercised Tannehill's fifth-year contract option, NFL.com reports.
The move ensures that the Dolphins will be able to retain Tannehill's playing rights through the 2016 season. Moreover, the 26-year-old QB, who finished the 2014 season with a career-high 4,045 passing yards, to go along with 27 TDs and 12 picks, is a candidate work out an extension with the Dolphins down the road. In any case, per the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Tannehill will make $2.1 million between base salary and a roster bonus this coming season and when his fifth-year option is triggered, he'd be in line to earn a base salary of $16.15 million in 2016.

The Dolphins have had internal discussions about signing Tannehill to a long-term contract, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
The report suggests that such a deal would be similar to the one signed by Andy Dalton, as opposed to the contracts signed by Joe Flacco, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and others. Dalton's deal really only ties him to the Bengals for two seasons, with the total value of the contract inflated by money that will only be earned if the team ultimately decides to hold on to him. This type of contract would make sense for Tanehill, who is arguably the best quarterback the Dolphins have had since Dan Marino, even though he hasn't quite been good enough to commit to for the long haul. Tannehill posted career-best numbers in every key statistical category in 2014, but his inability to throw an accurate deep ball has been somewhat of a hindrance on the Miami offense.
Wed Jan 21 201519:50Tannehill likely to be Dolphins quarterback of future
Tannehill is likely to be the Dolphins quarterback of the future, according to the Miami Herald.
Tannehill's early results have been somewhat inconsistent but the team seems encouraged about what his future will bring to the organization and is likely to offer him a long term contract.

Tannehill completed 23-of-39 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Jets.
Tannehill connected with seven different receivers, throwing his lone touchdown to tight end Charles Clay. He passed the 4,000-yard mark for the first time in his career, though he failed to throw for multiple touchdowns in four of his last five games, as the Dolphins were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 16. Tannehill will be the starter next season, and if he can continue to develop with wideouts Jarvis Landry and Mike Wallace, he could certainly improve on his solid 2014 campaign.

Tannehill completed 35-of-47 passes for 396 yards, with four touchdowns and one interception Sunday against the Vikings, becoming the first Dolphins quarterback since Dan Marino to throw that many touchdown passes in a game, according to ESPN.com.
Tannehill connected with seven different receivers, throwing his touchdown passes to wide receiver Mike Wallace (two), running back Damien Williams and tight end Dion Sims. He has now thrown for at least 345 yards in back-to-back games, and he could keep the solid play going in Week 17 against the Jets, who have allowed the third-most passing touchdowns this season.

Tannehill completed 29-of-47 passes for a season-high 346 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday's 41-13 loss to the Patriots. He also added 21 rushing yards on three carries and fumbled twice, though both were recovered.
Tannehill connected with eight different receivers, focusing on starting wideouts Mike Wallace and Jarvis Landry, who combined for 13 catches on 18 targets for 203 yards. Tannehill has now failed to throw for multiple touchdowns in three straight games, and he may have a tough time yardage-wise in Week 16 against a Vikings defense allowing the sixth-fewest passing yards per game this season.
Sun Dec 7 201420:28Tannehill completed 23-of-33 passes for 227 yards and touchdown ...
Tannehill completed 23-of-33 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Ravens. For the fifth straight game, he didn't make any impact as a rusher, running for just six yards on two carries.
Tannehill got off to a decent start, throwing his lone touchdown pass late in the first quarter. He struggled to do much over the final 45 minutes, however, leading the Dolphins to just three points. After rushing for at least 35 yards in five straight games during the middle of the season, he's now gone five contests without 20+ yards on the ground. To help fantasy owners, he'll need to really bump up his passing production over the final few games, if the recent lack of rushing stats continues. Next up for Tannehill and Miami will be the Patriots on the road.

Tannehill completed 25-of-35 passes for 235 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception, in Monday's 16-13 win over the New York Jets.
Tannehill added 13 yards on four carries, marking a fourth straight game with 16 rushing yards or fewer. Per usual, the Dolphins largely moved the ball with short and intermediate passes, rarely trying to hit anything deep down the field. Tannehill was mostly accurate on the shorter throws, but he did make one terrible decision, which led to an ugly dropped interception by Jets linebacker Calvin Pace. Tannehill also saw Mike Wallace drop a touchdown, though it would have been a difficult catch. While this wasn't a terrible showing, Tannehill produced very modest numbers against a defense that has consistently been roasted by opposing quarterbacks this season. He gets a similar matchup at home next week, as the Ravens have a strong front seven but a terrible secondary, much like the Jets. Of course, the Baltimore offense is far more threatening than New York's, which means the Dolphins will likely need more from Tannehill in a crucial game for the AFC playoff picture.
