Washington closed out the 2014 season with 13 rushes for 57 yards, 22 receptions for 159 yards and two total touchdowns.
Washington will become a free agent ahead of next season, and could very well end up somewhere other than Tennessee, given the team's crowded backfield. The 32-year-old back has already played for four different teams in his nine-year career.

Washington caught 7-of-7 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown, adding four carries for 11 yards, in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Jaguars.
Washington turned in arguably his best performance since 2011, with season-high marks in carries, receptions and receiving yards. He took advantage of Dexter McCluster's absence, handling most of the passing-down work for a team that wasn't able to run. While he'll likely serve in the same role next week against Indianapolis, Washington is unlikely to match his surprising Week 16 performance.

Washington had one carry for three yards and two catches (on three targets) for 12 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Baltimore.
Though he was able to find the end zone in Week 10, Washington offers minimal fantasy value. He's totaled only 16 total touches through nine games this season.

Washington had one carry for eight yards and two catches for negative four yards in Sunday's loss to the Redskins.
Washington can be safely avoided in most fantasy leagues, considering he's totaled a mere 10 touches (four rushing attempts and six receptions) through Tennessee's first seven games.

Washington had one carry for one yard and one catch (on three targets) for 11 yards in Tennessee's victory over Jacksonville in Week 6.
Washington remained a marginal part of the offense Sunday, even with starter Shonn Greene (hamstring) not on the field. Through six games, the 32-year-old running back has three carries for 24 yards and four receptions for 29 yards.

Washington carried two times for 23 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards in Week 1's win over the Chiefs.
Washington also returned a kickoff for 22 yards in the contest. He's listed behind Shonn Greene, Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster on the Titans' RB depth chart, however, and would probably need a break or two in his favor in order to merit fantasy consideration.

WR Devon Wylie was waived in a corresponding roster move. Waived by the Patriots three days ago, Washington will immediately slide in as the Titans' return specialist, which has been a sore spot for Tennessee this season. He won't have a role on offense.

Leon Washington was forced from the Patriots' Week 5 game against the Bengals with an ankle injury, and will not return.
Washington went down early in the first half, but wasn't officially ruled out until the fourth quarter. Sun Oct 6 201311:32Report: Leon Washington will have Week 5 role
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patriots RB/KR Leon Washington will "have (his) number called" in Week 5 against the Bengals.
It's an indication that Brandon Bolden's knee injury is going to limit him behind LeGarrette Blount, but it's also possible the Patriots just want to stick with a three-man rotation in the absence of Stevan Ridley. Blount is the only safe option for fantasy purposes, with Bolden representing little more than a desperation FLEX play. Washington shouldn't be started in any format.

Fri Sep 13 201301:06Leon Washington has one-touch night
Leon Washington rushed once for one yard in New England's Week 2 win over the Jets.
He was targeted once in the passing game, but couldn't make the catch. In theory, Washington is the Patriots' third-down back in the absence of Shane Vereen, but his snap count appeared to be in the single digits Thursday. He's not worth a second thought in re-draft leagues.

Sun Sep 1 201316:15Pats cut return specialist Leon Washington
Patriots released RB/KR Leon Washington.
They're eating a $360,000 signing bonus. Washington is 31 years old now, and the Patriots clearly believe he's lost a step. He also lost a fumble in New England's preseason finale. Washington will probably get one more look from an NFL team, but his career looks headed the way of Josh Cribbs'.
